Frustrated from getting lost in the wilderness? Get this compass to reduce that frustration to only still die with it in the wild!

Starting Bid: 7s

Min. Increment: 1s

Buyout: 20s

Current bid: 7s from Silakka

Tests and comparisons

Time to take for compass to fully settle.

0.7s with 85.40ql 92botd

1.2s with 85.40ql no enchants

1.7s with 71.39ql 50w

Can move 20 seconds with enchanted 85ql before it unsettles.

Can move 14 seconds with enchanted 71ql before it unsettles.

Note: Don't have a physical stop watch to do accurate timing starts, but the delay for the gui to show up gives me enough time to switch to an online stopwatch and click start when the compass shows. To be accurate, I did over 20 tries each.

Beatiful compass, BOTD is perfect for skilling uh.. nevermind.

As to time taken before unsettling, there seems to be a difference on horse vs on foot, on foot seeming to take longer.

Nevertheless, this is an amazing compass, I'm tempted to grab it myself

I don't see this difference on foot or horse. I start the unsettle by dropping the compass then pick up.

I get 20 second on foot at 14km/h. Still 20 second on horse at 20km/h+

Same 14 second for 71ql compass.

How well do those perform on sea? Do you still have to moor to get a result?

That's literally the only reason why I didn't buy one yet...

Although it would've been handy in that awful olive forest at the giant hunt... :D

Will be the same I assume but at least it settles nearly instantly when you jump off the ship then back on and stays settle for 20 seconds. Also when you crash into land, you'd get your bearing immediately ;P
