Posted June 10, 2014 Chaos players shouldn't kill other servers Uniques. Why stop there? We shouldn't be allowed to trade with you, mail to you, even cross over and hunt on "your" server. After all, we only pay premium to stay on Chaos right? WRONG! We all pay the same amount of premium for our characters, we have free travel across this cluster, if you have a problem with us doing what you are able to do then get over yourselves. Nobody owns the uniques, I see people from the other freedom servers on Chaos regularly, killing "our" mobs, having an impact on events on "our" server. I've even seen people from the Freedom Cluster who haven't been on Chaos in a long time, coming to Chaos to kill "our" uniques. Or people travelling from Deli > Celebration .etc to get in on unique kills. This works both ways, either quit whining about it or petition to get the servers sealed off so nobody can go onto any other server than that which they play on. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Because failing a few attempts and not putting record times on slayings obviously invalidates said raiding groups. And of course it's just as obvious that someone who might play on different servers including Chaos also fully and effectively nullifies any claim of "PvE slays" or whatever. Right? Right?! Sorry but it isn't the same thing, Daolin. If you don't like pve players coming to chaos to kill your mobs & uniques, or for any other reason, you have the option to try to kill them. We don't. Posted June 10, 2014 Where did anyone say that it's cool for players from ANY server to travel to another server to kill uniques? Certainly I didn't say that nor do I believe it. I'll use myself as an example...I have deeds on three servers but now live only on Cele so I won't be going to Indy or Exo to kill uniques unless someone from those servers puts out a call for help from outsiders. It's not the fact players travel, it's the fact some players feel entitled to the loot aka dragons armor - the "end game" content on Wurm (if you exclude the moon metals). Going on others servers and killing the uniques because freedomers are too weak/unskilled/ignorant to kill them ain't right and totaly lame. Why a few should have everything and think they are above everyone else. You are paying for the game, so do we, we have the same rights and the change is going in that direction as well. Just for the record I have no interest in taking part in unique kills on the non-pvp servers, "even though I have deeds/Characters on some of them" but others do any I will defend their right to do so. Posted June 10, 2014 This is a stupid argument and one should not argue who is more important and who should be using dragon armour. Everyone is entitled to use the armour, whether it be PVE or PVP. It's a great a rare thing to be wearing dragon armour and everyone should have a chance of owning it. We should test this before we go any further but we shouldnt be having mugh problems, we only ever have the people that we want in local miniroll + the local inhabitants that wanted to join in. Only one time was this not the story, or atleast the few that I attended. So I agree this does sound weird but it may solve the issue of the loop not being handed out in an honest manner. We know we never had a problem with sharing the loot honestly but others can not be trusted. So on paper this system may help that in a way. Oh and the the reason why we managed to kill a good few uniques is because we were invited by some freedomers, they got what they chose from the kill, and one guy just wanted the dragons gone because it was wrecking his deed, and we helped remove the pest. I have not stated the dragons etc. being PvP only. I havent said 'chaos should have all the drake'. I said it would be put to a 'more effective' use by people on chaos. I play Wurm in a kingdom because i chose to and I DO play the game. And this thread is considered 'forum PvP'??? Please, I wanted to dispute a change which was not clarified enough and too many vague details were given. So before jumping to conclusions go back and read what was written. Yeah, hopefully we can get some more clarification on on how much of this 'loot' everyone gets, hopefully its reasonable amount. Sometimes I just hate trying to read Swenglish through a smokescreen. If for "more effective" use you mean keeping it 99% of the time in a mule alt/bank or the (used to be safe) vault, then probably you are right, on the other hand wen we Freedomers put our hands on some drake or scale set we tend to use it all the time. Our policy is only wear what you want to lose, people have drake, most here don't use it and instead use some fancy disposable plate. KunAlt: You can hardly compare wearing drake/scale on freedom to wearing it somewhere you are likely to drop it on death, but most people we come up against are either in drake or scale (usually MR) so it doesn't sit in everyones banks, just those who don't care to throw some unique gear away. Either way this isn't some socialist paradise, it doesn't matter one hoot who uses what more effectively. Unless you are in the Empire of Dragon armour (no offence guys, but just couldn't help it), the people who are going to be using dragon armour on any server are people who can afford it.With these new spawns we'll only see the capitalism intensify, does anyone actually think they have a chance of putting a set together themselves now? These scraps will be bought and sold like any good commodity, probably even between Chaos and the rest of the freedom cluster. Any argument resting on who "deserves" it more is flawed from the get go.On a side note, Black Legion current policy is to wear plate regardless of many of us owning dragon armour. We're trying to make PvP fun on our side and frankly worrying about a set of armour that is generally thought of in terms of how much REAL money they cost isn't fun when you're fighting bigger enemies. That being said, I do applaude MR's policy, it has obviously worked well for them. They do use theirs, trust me on that. In time I hope we'll be able to compete at a high enough level to follow their example set. As for people who can't afford or are not an MR fighter. Posted June 11, 2014 What I mean is, I use my drake set all day long, and is not the first time I read this bull rear end product about how this sets should all exist only on pvp servers because pvp is the only right use for it and bla bla bla, usually people don´t say that in a direct way thou. And a similar situation is raising around sorcery. Well I beg to differ, and Idk why confronting another player on a fight will make one player more entitled to use a drake/scale set than any other player that choose to kill pigs.
