Posted May 24, 2014 If rowboats can be loaded onto a larger ship, perhaps 1 on a Corb, 2 on a Cog, 3 on a Caravel. Then we can park our ships off-shore, unload a boat, and row to shore! This would make it easier to access shallow areas with large ships.Would be fun from a role-play perspective as well. Could even make PVP more interesting when a Caravel "mother-ship" pulls up and sends out a landing party just like in the pirate movies
Posted May 24, 2014 I like the idea, very practical, derived from a real use... +

Posted May 27, 2014 +1. Defiantly something that is doable. The code is present to load things in.
Posted May 28, 2014 +1 Seriously, a no brainer. Even if they need to be on a ship transporter first, they should be loadable. Cogs should be changed to fit wagons also, like other ships (smaller than it).
Posted May 28, 2014 +1 Would make delivering ships easier for sure.
Posted May 30, 2014 +1 for loadable row boats I am sure this has been suggested before.
Posted June 2, 2014 Great idea would work well with the fishing thread for whaling +

Cogs should be changed to fit wagons also, like other ships (smaller than it). Can't load a wagon into a rowboat or sailboat.. What other ships are smaller than a cog? it's the smallest cargo ship out there. 29 large crates in the hold, A wagon requires 39 space to fit.
Posted June 7, 2014 I would like this, And a cargo ship to haul animals, lots of crates, and lots of rowboats.
Posted June 22, 2014 Even being able to hitch smaller boats to ships would be great - and that's what actual sailing boats did in calm weather, to clear deck space.
Posted June 22, 2014 +1 If a large cart can fit in the ship, a row boat should fit too.

What other ships are smaller than a cog? it's the smallest cargo ship out there. 29 large crates in the hold, A wagon requires 39 space to fit. I don't think the wagon should be loadable on a sailboat or smaller.. That would be wogic. I'm aware of the data on the capacity chart. I don't understand using the 'status quo' as a platform for proving an argument on what '[c/sh]ould be'. If a Corbita (visually much smaller than a Cog) can fit a Wagon then a Cog should be able to also. The Cog is crippled without a trade-off benefit.
Posted June 23, 2014 +1 Great idea. I always thought this should be the case and I should have suggested this some time ago, but someone more action prone beat me to it!
Posted June 23, 2014 When boats were first introduced we were able to drag out sailboats behind us. It was awesome. +1 YES PLEASE!
