Problems with the game

Recommended Posts

*First, please keep in mind that I still don't really understand how everything works here, couldn't figure out whether it's f2p or p2p, I mean, The web says it's f2p but then the shop thingy says that you "Buy time" or something.. anyway i'll post another topic for that at the right forum :P.

So, read alot about this game and decided to check it out.. I entered the site, clicked on the play button ( Which seems like the only way to attempt download ) and it downloaded a jnlp file..

when I try to open the file it loads java and then says "Unable to launch the application".

I've been trying to solve this problem but the only solutions people suggest are to go to javaws -viewer and delete wurm from there but, the list is empety...

So, If I got something wrong or.. if there's another way to solve this, please help me guys :D

Appreciate any help <3

As far as the f2p vs pay it is free to play with a cap on your skills at level 20 along with some other things you are restricted on like riding a horse.

Yeah this is a newish bug that's preventing more and more folks from connecting to the wurm servers, no good fix currently.

Can I ask which version of java is installed?  typically you need 32bit for 32bit OS and 64bit for a 64bit os.  Some applications only make use of the 32bit version, I have both versions installed and are fine.

How does this Java topic have to do with wurmonlline.com or wurmpedia not loading?
