Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) This has been suggested to death iirc (i may be imagining things) Seryll textures for weaponsBut, with the above update, I think it's a great time to suggest it again. If a weapon or piece of armour is rare/supreme/fantastic, it should glow as such while equipped Thoughts? Edited April 25, 2014 by Shadz
Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Maybe not glow, just a bit brighter/blueish perhaps+1 for making rarity visual on equipped items Edited April 25, 2014 by silakka
Posted April 25, 2014 +1 for visual identification, maybe not necesarily the same effect that regular items use.
Posted April 25, 2014 I would rather be less of a target, picked out of the crowd. No thanks. -
Posted April 25, 2014 I would rather be less of a target, picked out of the crowd. No thanks. -1 Pretty sure they don't target those with drake over those in plate or vice versa, also, I've never heard of anyone get targeted for having a glimmersteel/adamantine helm. Posted April 25, 2014 +1, maybe a glow, instead of a armor color difference, so a adamantite rare great helm would be blue with a blue glow, lighter blue for supreme, purple for fantastic. etc
Posted April 25, 2014 Minute differences would be nice, but none of this crap please

Posted April 25, 2014 Nothing too extreme, just a little hue similiar to glimmer/adamantine items
Posted April 26, 2014 I want a huge axe that SPARKLES!
Posted April 26, 2014 +1 for visual identification of worn rares I would love to see "slick design and fine details", or "very interesting and rare" armour worn by my character
Posted April 26, 2014 Shads you really need to get over your sword IDK if I was pvping do I really want my rares to be known.

Posted May 2, 2014 I'd make it slightly darker or lighter depending on item however weapons should have a glow based off there type as well and light up the area with a pale light when enchanted - light is brighter the power level increases - like flame swords spark or glow red - while ice swords have a light fog or mist with a blue glow
Posted May 5, 2014 +1 And like other posters I would like rares or supremes to have slick design or fine details. Like rare armour to have some subtle embossing a rare weapon to have some subtle changes, a visually larger cutting edge perhaps or just larger in general. Something that you would actually see and think "oh I don't see that too often", rather than just the same weapon or armour piece with a blue name.

Posted May 21, 2014 make from rare gear up be added in death tabs like x killed y using rare cloth hood then people would be talking a bit more about it and it would add to lore

Less wogic more logic pls +1 from me too, all rare and better should glow, it looks cool, admanitum (or how ever you spell that) looks really cool as a helmet. Posted June 13, 2014 +1 from me too i think if you have an enchanted tool for instance a scythe they should glow nothing big just a glimmer
