  1. As many if not all of you know, we can now bless the lamps for some perma lights in tunnels, highway, cave canals and whatnot: No priest, no time, want to do some community oriented job WiTH the community, drop a word here to coordinate our efforts. Remember the need for reinforced cave floor, so some tunnels will need extra love.
  2. Okay so as developers and staff members, it's inevitable that there will be times when people disagree with what we do or even hate us for it. I've learned to weather the hate in stride, for the quiet ones who reach out and thank me always carry me through. But... who do you hate the most? As an aside, this is just for fun. Keep replies light-hearted and funny. If you do have a problem or complaint, the best place to bring it up will be with one of us directly. I'm also asking for this because Firestarter has promised to find where I live if I make his job any harder. So please, please... (he scares me...)
  3. pm me, only buying from sellers with reputation and previous trades.. will be able to reply around midnight CST thanks!
  4. We had the burger king crown... Can we at least get the burger king "Noble King Theatrical Quality Adult Costume"
  5. Hi there, we love uniques as much as you and that's why we kill them super fast! We are a group of fighters who will come to you and help you trap/kill the unique that you have located. No matter how noobish you are we will provide you with all the intel and logistic to learn how to do it on your own next time. Since we get most of the loot for free already, we will let you keep the lion share, you found the darn thing after all. And if you want, we can roll the remaining charges or whatever between your friends and our fighters, no more fair than that either. Contact me for more informations!
  6. I can't even read them anymore. I give up. I'll check back periodically for the Wurm Unlimited section, but damn... You guys have done it again. These updates are awful. There was no preparation, clearly no testing. There are no ###### consistent links from the old site. The only way to get to IRC now is to un-bury the abandoned page on the Wiki. You guys gutted it, slapped in a fresh install and have been piecing it together... just shooting from the hip as always. I'll be honest. I'm a very difficult person to annoy or offend... but these forum changes are the epitome of CodeClub operation (from my perspective). Rolf, you need what the business industry calls a "Project Manager". A person skilled and trained in PMBOK. Someone who can look at a goal, and plan/execute the most desirable path for that goal. Throwing someone a notebook of scribbled notes and leaving them to their own devices --- is why so many of these tasks end up being botched. I just hope the recent changes have good reason (security flaws, they refused to sell us another years license) - because, I've lost most interest in participating here. ...Unless of course someone knows how I can go clicky-clicky and get the old theme, navigation, setup, layout back. In which case, sorry for the outburst, carry on.
  7. As I began to play this game, the following came to mind. The Wurm Effect Def: The unique influence each individual experiences while playing Wurm Online. The full extend of its effects is yet unknown, but appears to be different for each person involved. It is known to contribute to Borderline Disorder, as it creates a multitude of opposite feelings within a brief amount of time, leaving the individual in a state of anger, happiness, frustration or satisfaction. It is also known to help individuals under the influence of conditions such as Depression to improve their mental health, as it creates a friendly environment and offers a purpose to getting up in the morning. The effects of the "Wurm Effect" include addiction to the game, the urge to spend money on it, the feeling of importance when ingame decisions have been made, the strong motivation when beginning a new project, and the ability to push aside negative feelings and to keep going even beyond your usual limits. The individual effects become more clear when the player encounters situations that exceed their normal range of frustration. While few can escape its influence, the severity of the effect experienced depends on each individual player. Kicking in after only days, sometimes weeks, it is a dangerous condition affecting the vast majority of all Wurm Online players. The most dangerous part of the game includes coming back to it each and every time even after having "left for good". Temp: The influence of the effect is currently known to be the strongest on Xanadu, as severe ingame lag, causing frustration, anger, loss of items/animals, or even death, can be experienced on an everyday basis. Well, this is as far as I got. I thought it was stupid to think this at first, but who can deny this? I have been in for a few days, almost everyone I know has "Quit For Good" multiple times and yet is still playing for me to meet, and I have already spent more money on this game within days than I have spent on other games within years of playing, and I do not think it is going to stop. So I ask you, are you suffering from this condition? Because I know that I am.
  8. I think the email registration system is broken. The link for registering wouldn't appear at all. You aren't blocked but I don't see it. By the way, there is still a link at the buttom of the page but it is irrelevant to the process of registering (I tried). How long do I have to wait for this to be corrected?
