Taxidermy is the preserving of an animal's body via mounting (over an armature) or stuffing, for the purpose of display or study. This could be cool, there are so many nice mob models in wurm that would look cool if they could be mounted on walls or turned into stuffed statues. Just imagine a goblin standing in every house on Xanadu. Could even use the same model of the statues just with the skins of the actual mob.

For some who played WoW, when your driving down the road and your mains are alliance and see a horde, what do some people do. Well for me I drive past and yell FOR THE ALLIANCE... as i get the finger and yelled at in orgish. Same with pokemon go, I'm a team valor, and cut off team mystic usally. Along with other stickers on my side window. Off topic, when newgrounds was a fresh flash website. New members were sent stickers of the famous tank along with there website. I got many people to search it due to having it on my bike and gameboy color. Some might know newgrounds for foamy the squirrel. Anyways, if members could purchase or even get rewarded for being prem for x amount of months/time be sent these decals. I would put a wurm sticker on the car along with a freedom flag and probly JK also. I'm not sure if it was wurm or another game I'm thinking of, but for a boost in revenue and a table centerpiece there was a 5" 3d printed statues which sold for 30-50 usd. 1) Add sandstone and slate versions of existing statues. 2) Wood statues! Use an axe on a felled tree, imp like any other carpentry item. 3) Metal statues! Combine beeswax and use Hand on the wax to create a Wax Statue of X Mold Use clay on Wax Mold to create a Clay Statue Statue of X Mold Fire the Clay Statue Statue of X Mold to create a Pottery Statue of X Mold Finally, to create the metal statue combine a glowing Metal Lump with the Pottery Statue of X Mold to create the unfinished <Metal Type> Statue of X. Keep adding glowing metal lumps until finished. No new art assets (except maybe wax?), just combining textures with existing models.

Hi I know this sounds weird but it would be great if there where some different types and size cat statues for people to make since there are troll, Horse, Dog, People and other types of statues already. I've been thinking about the statues. The best statues are those 'Hota' which I particularly find difficult to achieve or cost dearly. So it would be nice if new statues were created, but to do them it was necessary to have a high skill stonecutting at least 60-70 so that other players could have other types of statues besides those that already exist.

Was at a slaying event recently and thought about the use of a corpse for this unique...okay "very-rare mob". Idea, allow it to be used as a model for a statue creation in which it transfer the age and pic/image of the creature into Marble/Rock/Slate? copy of the creature success being founded on the masonry skill. But this would increase the value of the corpse. Then have the corpse decay in "memory" as it is successfully copied/etched forever into stone. Keeping it simple.

I would like to see Gilding be used in the game. My first idea is the use of gold/silver applied to statues to detail characteristics and add some accent/beauty to them. Then I would also like to see the use of Slate applied to Marble and Stone creations for Black created versions of these items..and the Gilding would make it "Pop!" even more. Gilding could also be used on houses on the Non-Plain Stone builiding, benches and even Water Fountains to really add a lot of style to all of it. Gold, Bronze, Silver, Copper and Brass could also be incorporated..but my focus is Gold and Silver for this article. Better use of Jewelry skill could applay here to especially on "Upgrading" of tools to better receive enchants???? Just an idea..what do you think?

The Week in Patch Notes The bug crusade has continued, and below is a roundup of the week's patch notes in full. The calculated attack and vitality values generated that are higher than 6 will start at 6 and add 0.1 per full point above 6. So a value of 11 will result in 6.5. This will balance the playing field better. Existing deities have had their values recalculated according to this algorithm. More New Clothing Following on from his new line of shirts released last week, Wox has continued working on Wurm's fashion range, with 3 new designs of pant. You can catch some sneak previews below - it's beginning to look like Wurm will have a pretty expansive range of clothing once he's done! Wox's next fashion venture could go anywhere... although a contact on the inside has informed us that he is currently designing new shoulder pads (pauldrons,) an optional armour slot made possible a while ago but not looked into until now. They're intended to be decoration-only. Marble Statues Continuing the trend of new art assets, we can confirm this week that we'll be releasing marble versions of all statues. For now, Saroman has given us a preview of a marble Lady of the Lake. Feedback Structure Here at the PR Team, we've also been looking into improving the ways that we collect feedback from the community. It will be an ongoing process - but to get things kicked off, we've created a new e-mail address, feedback@wurmonline.com, for general bits of feedback. Any issues with moderation should still always be raised with the moderation team, either through forum PM (or the in-game /support system where appropriate); bugs should still be reported in the maintenance area, where they will be picked up by staff and added to our lists of bugs; and suggestions for game features/changes should still be posted in the suggestions area. It might not feel like we listen to feature suggestions, but the simple fact is that the game is so huge with so many ideas that it will always take time to implement anything. Tap Dance Bridge, Celebration It’s been exciting to see all the new bridges being created across the lands of Wurm! This week we continue to take a look at some of these bridge projects with the Tap Dance Bridge completed on the Celebration server. The folks from Mercenary Camp took it upon themselves to provide a quicker, safer route between Tap Dance and Southern Celebration. Hats off to them for such an impressive building project! The unique center arch-section allows larger ships to pass through and gives the bridge a fun, roller-coaster effect. You can learn more about the Tap Dance Bridge project here. It just struck me as odd that we have no marble statues/sculptures. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marble_sculpture They'd be a great addition (even if they were just a re-skinned version of existing statues) as they would be much more heavily influenced by dyes. Adding in statues of the gods would be a nice touch too. Lock it to 30+ stone cutting, give masons some love. So what I'd propose is a chain of new statues that players gifted in Masonry could erect. Perhaps statues depicting historical events or figures from the lore of Wurm itself. Such as the Collapse of Wilem Benth after he slain his fellow Ageless, complete with his Prophetic Illiad upon inspection. Statues of the Deities, White and Black Light both. And a Dragon Statue, thought not the same as the HotA statue, as I believe there was one that was draconic. Perhaps open up a competition with statues that players can submit either drawings or 3D Models/Renders of for the team to vote over, with some kind of prize sent to the winner's account?

I had a idea regarding the statues. why not apply statues of the base models for all the creatures in game, from the normal dog to raging hell horse rearing up into the air. or even base posing like attacking pose, standing pose, sitting pose, dead pose, simple to do, and even to change then add. I would like to a large altar add to the game, made from wood or stone. where the god in question is standing, withing a animal, creature or thing of there creation, with a big-ish altar by there feet. maybe even a platform with it for them to stand on? P.S. By the way is anyone knows the graphic program what is used to make models for the game let me know, please I would like to try and help out with making these and other like this.
