Just curious how many folk are hoping to be able to travel or transfer between the clusters - if/when this becomes an option! Please let me know your opinions below, or if I've missed anything.

Just a mad idea: How about a new temporary PvE server for both NFI and SFI accessed via portals. This does not need to be a big server at all. Characters could come to the new server from either cluster through a portal, with full skills and items, and meet up to create an impalong on a central deed with a target of hosting the impalong by a certain date. When the deed is complete, a big party ensues, and at the end everybody gets to take home their imped and casted items plus some extra goodies from the Devs. We don't want this server's timing to conflict with regular scheduled impalongs, but at a convenient time, it would allow a trial gathering of NFI and SFI players and allow them to meet up in a relatively safe way with a common goal. Notes: It is highly probable that currency and items will change hands during this meetup. This may result in a net flow of wealth moving either north or south. It is likely that SFI PMK items such as banners/flags/tents may also then be available to NFI buyers. I think this would give an additional income boost to the chaos PMKs, but if this is considered a problem, certain types of items could be prevented from passing through the portals if necessary, perhaps limiting items to basic tools and armour for example at the discretion of the Devs. After the party, the server would be reset, ready for the next event. Interested to hear everyone else's ideas.

Are you new to Wurm? I want to give a few new players the same wonderful opportunities I had as a new player. Come join me on Exodus in the village of Hanging Gardens (H,21). I want to help you learn the game, get equipped, and raise your skills. You can join me in various projects, or do your own thing. Hanging Gardens is an established deed (though with lots of room for improvements and building) on the northeastern desert of Exodus. This is prime hunting area to level your fighting skills fast. Hanging Gardens is part of a longstanding alliance, dating back more than a decade, of very experienced players. Take your play to a whole new level with our help. With the Halloween impalong cancelled, is anyone having a gathering, market, impalong, or event of some kind? Be a shame to miss out on a chance to visit with all our friends on one of the few large wurm holidays we normally celebrate.

View from Crystal Lake Oak Harbour is located at M21 on the in-game map, right on the eastern shore of Crystal Lake. It's a nice, quiet area with rarely seen neighbors, and loads of open space nearby, for those who prefer a bit of elbow room. We've been located at this spot for 13+ years now, so there is a lot of history and a strong bond to the area - meaning we're not going to 'up sticks' and leave you homeless. The deed has a very large mine, packed with iron of all qualities, and cursed with loads of gold and sandstone. We've also got zinc, tin, copper, silver, and marble. Clay and tar are right on the shore below the bridge. Our adjoining deed, Oak Harbour Farms supplies nearly 1000 tiles of farmland for any aspiring farmers or ranchers. (Oak Harbour Farms has been let go to lower upkeep costs, but the space is still open for farming.) A large, stocked workshop is open to all villagers, with some basic tools and materials provided. You'd have free reign over a section of land to terraform and build whatever your heart desires. The amount of land is negotiable, depending on how many villagers we have, how active you are, etc., but roughly 10x10 as a general rule. Or, you can just chill in one of the secure apartments inside the castle and make use of the community buildings. There's also plenty of building space within the mine if you'd like to live as a dwarf! If you are offended by the colour pink, I am terribly sorry... Hunters flourish in the area, as we're surrounded by woodland, and next to the Eastern Plains steppe, which is a great locale for your first forays into fighting. Please be aware Oak Harbour does not have templars, and the deed isn't fully enclosed, so be prepared to defend yourself against (or hide from) aggros in the area! There are guard towers that cover the area if you get into a pickle, though. For the most part, our alliance is made up of folks who play somewhat "hermit" style. We're all happy to help as and when we can, but mostly do our own thing. If you're looking for a village with lots of village-participation activities to get involved in, we are probably not the right fit. However, if you're just after a spot to hang out, craft, build, and maybe jump into a chat about how amazing cheese and bacon are, we've got you covered. We do not ask for "rent" or "tax" toward the upkeep of the deed or anything else. While donations to upkeep are certainly welcome, there is zero pressure to spend your hard-earned silver on it. Looking for some people on SFI to play with, you will not be expected to pay any costs toward the deed and experience is not required you can be a new player or an older veteren. The deed is in a good location by the water at P20 on Deliverence. Recently the village has been redeeded so there are alot of repairs and rebuilding to do, the restoration is being streamed on twitch. The village has a docks, 2 large farms, lots of enchanted grass and areas for animals, plots if villagers want to build their own houses, 2 pre-made houses for villagers, a crafting building and a sermon hall.
