  9. My Pants Harbour is currently accepting new citizens! What is it? My Pants Harbour is currently a workplace for traders who produce and export goods. Once finished, it will also be a public market, with our own inn, trading square, temple and auction house, where events that we'll promote will take place. Who we are? Traders! Where we are? Our harbour is strategically located at Xan B17, pretty close to the map's edge, where people can easily travel to and from. What we offer? Tools, security, knowledge and an opportunity to make money. We will need people who extract raw material, produce goods, negotiate, deliver or can do it all like I do! The goal is to cooperate and trade under the same flag, creating a stable, reliable and well known market. Who are our partners? My Pants Harbour is part of a HUGE alliance consisting of 27 settlements. We're also part of the Morgan Hill Trading Company. What are our rules? - Respect everyone. - Respect everyone's property. - Be nice and friendly with our citizens, allies and customers. - Always welcome and offer help to newcomers and travelers. - Keep the place nice and clean. - Don't leave carts, containers, tools or whatever laying around. I'll throw it away or push it offdeed. - Moor your ships/boats in an orderly fashion. - Wherever you mine, reinforce it. - Whenever you cut trees, remove the stumps. - Don't dig for dirt or sand anywhere near any settlement, don't be a jerk.

  11. Hello Wanderer. So we have the rather large deed on the west coast (i8) The Mahasattva Bodhisattva Sangha. The deed is as the name implies. We are also part of a large alliance with a number of deeds that would surely also welcome new teammates. Who we are: We are a pretty diverse group as far as gender and age. Some are 16 some are over 60. It works. We're all friends. Brandonsf: Me. Often quiet or on Chaos. Been playing for about 3 years. A sinister man by nature. Vindekator: Jack of all trades. Has a (correct) answer to your questions and will help you out in anyway he can if you need it. Vind is also our resident sea-shantyist for those long sails to Chaos. Tinaskat: From Denmark. Jill of all trades. Can build just about anything. Lokius: Co-Founder of the village. Started earlier this year. Extremely helpful. Our Mystery. Expensivesurvival: Our farmer, tailor, and Redditer. Social, talkative and fun(ny). Rathalos: Ratha likes to say "meep" and "Throw waffles"..whatever that means. Extremely friendly. O.o Gurzan: Our newest member. Born on Xanadu. A native if you will.. our male Pocahontas. He will be deeding just south of us shortly and could most deff use some help. He is Hungarian! Khloey: Likes horses and "cute things" like piles of nails on the ground. Jimmybrasher: Explorer, Fisherman, Blacksmith, and ..A Might Fine Carpenter. Very social, fun and on a good bit. Razgyrz: Builder of fine homes. The Bowyer. On the fast track to a pretty good toon. We have a few priests here and I have a pretty good Vyn priest for enchants and good food. I won't go into everyone in alliance, but as I said, I am sure most are also looking for other villagers and such if you prefer a village they have. Who we are looking for: We're really looking for a mix of people; be you young or more mature. We have the means to make you some great enchanted tools and gear, but that is earned. We work as a team. Some of us play on Chaos a good bit under the Mol-Rehan banner and you are welcome to adventure there with us there as well. Would like people social and fun, but quiet is fine too. If you are into big team projects, this is the place for you. This large deed needs a lot of work! I'd like to say we offer quick acceleration in the game. We have a pretty big and lovely deed and you are welcome to make a house as you like here. It's a sandbox game and we like to just let people sandbox it around here. Our only caveat is that if you are gone for over a few months we reserve the right to take your house down so another can have your plot. No sense in having space unused. If you are interested in joining our team, feel free to drop me, or any of the villagers a PM.

  14. Hi As far as I know, current Village Recruitment Board allows to send a message only to the author of the ad and only if he/she is online. I would like to see an option to include other village members with "Invite citizens" role in the recruitment ad (without typing their names in the actual advertisement). For examples... if the author is not online, but there is another recruiter available, then have him/her to show up as the contact person (and an option to send a pm) if there are several recruiters, then maybe just display one who logged in most recently (best chances to not be afk?) or just have one button to send a pm to all online recruiters; everyone wants new players, I'm sure the spam isn't disturbing anyone As a bonus improvement, if a new player checks the board, ads with online contacts should be listed first. As an extra bonus improvement, all starter deeds should have a recruitment board right next to the refresher guy. Cheers, carry on!
  15. Storm's End is a 51x35 village located close to the northern shore of Crystal Lake on Independence. I've recently returned from hiatus and expanded the deed to continue projects on site. Storm's End is a member of the Storm Lands alliance, which also includes neighboring deeds; Yoggster's Patch Returns, An Unusual Place, Haven (the Hunting Lodge deed in the Grand Steppe), and Fafnir. The local area around Storm's End is fairly quiet, except for the alliance members. We have space for a few new villagers if anyone is interested in settling down in a new neighborhood. We'd prefer experienced players to apply, however we don't discriminate against the newbs either! If you'd like a nice village to settle into and hone your skills or work on projects then Storm's End is a good fit for you. We have a rare guard tower, a mailbox, an extensive mine and close access to the waterfront. Leave a comment here or pm me if you're interested in joining. Have a blessed day!

  19. I am looking for a way for people to join a village if no one is on the server. I know some people would wonder why I would want something like this. We want people to join existing villages but not be able to found them to help drive a community feeling rather than a bunch of deed holders. This would allow people to join a village by possibly a right click menu option. I would like for the mayor of the village to enable or disable this for each village in the village settings.

But first let me give you a little background history on who we are and where we have come from. Our story starts 8 years ago when I was lord of Rivendell which was a bustling coastal Village on the shores of Mol Rehan. Our Village was ran fair and just for many years until not only 5 months ago a dark priest came to our land and put a horrible curse on it. There was nothing we could do against such power even my wife who herself was a powerful Priest could not match this Godley power. The curse rendered all that lived in Rivendell to turn against one another and only after a few months the village imploded scattering what few remained to leave as this was the only way to be rid of the curse. We made the decision to leave for the lands of the Freedom Isles and set our hearts on Xanadu. We set sale to Summerholt in nothing more than a tiny rowing boat and a few supplies hoping to start again knowing that when we cross the border we would be stripped of all our powers and skill. Present Day It has been 5 months now since we landed on the shores of F24 and formed Crystal Coast. Unfortunately my wife has not been well after the transition and losing her power has taken a great toll on her so it has just been me doing the terraforming and construction. The Deed currently is 51x50 and the main Town (50x25) has been terraformed and ready for construction to begin. The Town will be where all the trade will take place and in time will have a Port, Harbour, Tavern, Church/Town Hall, Black Smith, Tailor, Carpenter, Mason Shop where you can craft and hone your skills and not to mention an impressive market where anyone can put a trader to sell there items. Village Rules We like to run things differently than other Villages. We believe that our Citizens should be given the freedom to make their own decisions and to do that we give you the freedom to do so. A lot of villages don't give you much freedom to do what you want and not much say in how the village is developed and managed. We believe there is no right or wrong way to create a village but we think many different minds designing a village is better than 1 or 2. There are just 2 rules to uphold: Have Fun! Do not ever dig/terraform in the main town or existing roads. What Cant Be Done On Deed: Destroying Buildings: This is just to protect the Town from greifers. If you want something destroyed just ask as long as its yours that is. Attaching Locks: This is to protect the village from getting messy when villagers quit/leave. If you require something to be locked the Mayor would be happy to do it and just add you to the permission, easy! What can be done on Deed: Apart from not destroying buildings and terraforming the main Town etc you can do anything you like as long as you own the land, more on that next. Village Economy We want to create a true Village economy and below I will tell you how we can achieve this. In real life we need to earn money to live, to pay our bills, eat, clothes, tools and most importantly to play Wurm. Imagine everything was free and we didn't need money sounds great but no, if this was the case we would never advance in life and would probably die of boredom. So to start the economy you need a reason to work to make money. Well to do this we have a Tax/Rent if you like, which means to have land you have to purchase the tiles which makes them yours to do what you like with and then pay the Town a tax each week to keep it, more on costs later. If you want you can stay/live in the Town for FREE until you are ready to buy your first bit of land and then you would pay a weekly tax depending on how much land you own. You could do this many ways by buying silver from Rolfs shop or selling to the village. The Village buys any bulk items at 25% below the going price which saves you time on finding a buyer and also the traveling time to. All Tax, Rent and profit that the village makes goes to expanding and improving the village. Payment Methods & Tile Costs Payment is easy you can either pay with coin or if you want to pay with bricks for example you can do. Tile Cost breakdown: To purchase a tile will be a 1 off cost of 50 iron for each tile. The Rent/Tax there on for each tile will be 25 iron for each tile. Example: You want to buy a 10x10 piece of land 10x10 = 100 tiles Purchase Cost: 100 tiles x 50 iron = 50 copper Rent/Tax Cost: 100 tiles x 25 iron = 25 copper per week Well Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you want to be a Citizen of Crystal Coast please Pm for a chat or reply to this post I look forward to hearing from you.
  21. Ravenholm is a large, established town on the Chaos server. We're always looking for new villagers to come and join us in our spacious and friendly part of the Wurm universe. About Ravenholm: Ravenholm was founded in March 2013, and has since blossomed into one of the largest, most friendly and most active PvP villages that you'll find anywhere in Wurm. The town is a member of a player made kingdom called the Empire of Mol-Rehan. Located in the west of the server, Ravenholm is far enough from the frontlines for life here to be comfortable and carefree, but still close enough that it's easy for us to go out and PvP when we want to. The MR Homelands are vast and expansive, offering us almost unlimited resources and hunting grounds. On a whole for us, Chaos and PvP offers an interesting side to the game that you can't experience on Freedom. People tend to play in larger groups here and stick together much more - and so you'll soon find yourself a part of the MR family, playing the game with more other people than you thought possible! If you're looking for more information about the server, then I'd strongly recommend checking out this guide. But What About Shiny Things? Between our many highly skilled players, we're able to offer a huge range of items to villagers, ranging from 90+ql weapons, casts, platesets, tools, bows... you name it, and there's probably someone here with over 90 skill in what you want! And best of all, we all share here, and so we'll happily make your wildest equipment dreams come true in exchange for a small favour (like dirt, bricks, or sacrifice materials for a priest.) As for housing, we offer very large plots to newcomers, even by PvE standards. Upon arrival, you'll have 35 deed tiles (7x5 of space) to do with as you please. After all, you're going to need a mansion to keep your new plateset in! Sounds Great! Where Do I Sign Up? You should make an application on our kingdom's forums. The 'access password' is MolRehanRecruit. Feel free to contact any of the below if you have any questions! Docterchese (forum & ingame) - Recruitment & Elder Balmore (forum) / Reincarnation (ingame) - Mayor of Ravenholm armyskin (forum & ingame) - Co-Mayor of Ravenholm revengo (forum & ingame) - Elder of Ravenholm Tulemees (forum & ingame) - Elder of Ravenholm Wulfgarr (forum) / Wulfgar (ingame) - Elder of Ravenholm Pictures! Isla Del Vanyel is a large deed located at D-16 on the in-game map, or X20, Y36 on the Pristine Community Map We are close to most resource types, with large forrested areas, mines (both on and off-deed), with Tar, Moss and Clay all close by. With plenty of room to build, and tons of room to grow, we are looking for several new citizens to join us. With several on-going village projects, there is plenty of opportunity for skillgain. We have Communal tools available with a 'borrow, use, repair, return' policy. Enchanted tools *may* be available when helping on a project Resources are also shared across the community under 'replace as you can' and 'use within your skill' policies (ie: don't use 60+ql resources when you only have 15 skill - use 15-20ql) We have a fairly relaxed environment, with few rules. Most of the time you play as you want, but we do ask you to pitch in and help out on deed projects, craft, imp, repair, farm, or gather resources for communal use from time-to-time. Rules of the deed can be found HERE Screenshots can be found here Not a rule, but Highly recommended is to have your stats uploaded to https://www.niarja.com/skill_compare If you are looking for a new home, we accept newbies or oldies - just message Vanyel ingame by typing /tell Vanyel Hi, I'd like to join
