  1. EDIT - As we're assembling details here, I've updated the original post and will try and catalogue all the still-active-markets I know to exist with their approx locations - if anyone wants to give me exact coordinates or add extra marketplaces, pop a message in the thread and I'll try and keep this updated. EXTRAEDIT - I've added URLs but if folks change the titles of their threads, some of these will break so pop me a PM if you spot a broken URL and I'll try and get an updated one. Originally I was including big markets only but I've come across a few that are only two or three merchants but have really good diverse stock and are still well-worth a visit. I've also not chosen to include the newbie-item markets that pop up outside *most* starter towns on Xan and a few other servers since these are easy to find if that's the stuff you're looking for - and you're not likely to sail to them if you're not a new player spawning in those areas. I've taken a few punts jogging over to deeds called 'something-something Market' and found most are not actually open market deeds (or perhaps not anymore) so hoping to crowd source more info, since I very much like in-game shopping and spend much of my silver there. For anyone still trying to keep one or more in-game markets alive - many of these I've only stumbled upon because I saw signs on a highway near a major settlement - these are worth your time placing! Mini glossary: curated means all the merchants are specialised and their shops are labelled so you can see at a glance what kinds of items they sell. mixed market means either a community run market, or a privately run one with multiple collaborators/merchants owned by several different players, so some merchants may be specialised but most will have a variety of items. More time/rummaging required but more surprises to be found. key merchant means animals sold here can be bought from a self-service merchant and don't need the owners online to buy from Indy: Celestial Market @E15 - on the coast of the Samling Fjord, north Indy, coastal and easy to access - just keep an eye out for Demona's trademark colourful lighting schemes. Several of the merchants seem to have now left due to inactivity but there were still about a half dozen mixed market merchants there when last I checked. (Managed by DemonaNightshade) Sand Witch Bootique @I10 - accessible through the Mountain Hollow Canal and The Haunted Catacombs (via Lake Tortuga) and on the highway network. Has a key merchant with self-service animals pens selling horses and hellies, and a ring of curated merchants selling potions, dyes, rares and rare mats, bulks and more. (Managed by Silvirwolfe (and poss also Alectrys?)) Freedom Marketplace @L16ish - smack bang in the centre on the south side of Dragonfang Mountain just north from The Howl - a shadow of it's former glory but there's were at last count (Sept 21) still a half dozen or more mixed market merchants in the inner ring, though less than half of these have a stock of more than half a dozen items. Not coastal but an easy run up the highway from the docks directly south of it by the canal tunnel entrance, if you're sailing by. (Not sure who manages it - may be the dev team, but give us a wave if it's you) CLUB Market @P20 - easy reach on foot/by road from Havens Landing or by boat just north from the canals running from Elysian Bay and Bearshark Bay. There's merchant stalls down the middle and animal and bulk pens around the outer edges with easy off-deed boat-parking to load and unload cages etc. Predominantly high ql tools and armour and enchanted tools here, but last time I went by there was a jeweller and a brewer too! Beware with the bulk pens that you can't push/pull crates out, you'll need a cart or wagon to load them directly into. (Managed by ChampagneDragon and friends, I think?) Nomad's Market @R22ish - has had a massive remodel and moved north just a little up from where it was before - has a large animal market selling champs, horses and hellies via a key merchant, plus a large curated market area with decorated shop buildings settling rare and enchanted tools, weapons and equipment, large and small deco items and more. Well worth a visit - they've done a lovely job upgrading this market - easily accessible by boat on the south side of Indy! (Managed by Ksss) Quail Cove @S/T25 - small rag and bone market on Hermit Island with a handful of merchants selling high QL runed arch finds, potions, gifts, rare mats and more. (Managed by Stargrace) Greytown Market @Q21ish - appears to have disbanded and no merchants remain Montrose @K13 - appears to have closed up shop and disbanded Release: Silver Port Trading and Canal @E10 - 10+ stocked mixed market merchants selling gifts and rares etc easily accessible by boat; if navigating by highway, you'll need to head down towards the water once the highway system lands you on deed. Little Venice @I/J23- a dedicated island market deed with 20+ decorated curated shops across the ground and upper floors. Once there, you can shop by boat or on foot; shops sell a large variety of skins, bloods + potions, PMK items, gifts, archaeology finds, rares, jewellery, runes, bulks and more, including an animal market via key merchant with horses, champs and holy creatures - often a handful of GM named creatures available in the free pens too. Easily accessible by canals directly to the east, west and south or by sailing south along the inner eastern coast from the north east side of Release. (Managed by Crimsonearth) Greenwood Market @N8 - on the western coast of Release is a curated market deed with 15-20 merchants each in their own shops, selling gifts, PMK items, cooking ingredients, high ql equipment, tailored goods, cooking equipment, furniture and more and has a few animal sale pens with a key merchant too. (Managed by Kasumi) Hillside Hideaway @O14 - four or five merchants selling rares, gifts, bloods and enchants and some PMK items (inc wagons via PM) on the shore of Mercury Lake, accessible by boat via various tunnels to the north, east and west. (Managed by Brattygirlisback) Deli: Southport Market @U18 and Mermaid's Cove @U17 - right on the south central coast of Deli; Southport has a massive 50+ mixed market merchants concentrated into a small area and always plenty to rummage though, Mermaid's Cove next door has several sale pens for horses and a key merchant (Managed by Muse/Jothebard) Old Grumpy Couple @E20/21 - a lovely little horse market with a handful of mixed market merchants up the hill selling rares, gifts and additional wares, accessible by boat through a tunnel directly to the north, the coast entrance is marked by a sailboat and buoys. (Managed by Bunnlose) The Deli Grinder @E21 - literally just up the road from Old Grumpy Couple, the Deli Grinder has three merchants selling a mix of rares, rare mats and enchants. (Managed by Fossil) Exodus: Sandhill Market @M/N15 has closed, according to their forum post, but there are still two or three merchants remaining if you happen to be over that way. Black Pearl @S16 doesn't seem to be a market per se but has characterful merchant placements as NPCs. There is a merchant outside a players house here that had drake hide for sale when I went by, though! Cele: Bastet's Bazaar @O14 Curated market with around 20 player-owned merchants, including a huge horse and hellie market, a PMK shop and a recipe library available by appointment. (Managed by Xvbabyxv) Archdale @T12 - nine merchants selling rares and skillers, statues, armour, weapons, potions and moon metals. Also offering dyes and enchants on request. Merchants arrayed around the dock of this deed, southwest coast of Cele, easily accessible by boat. (Managed by Zarame) Tap Dance Market @K19 This community market has now disbanded and only a few merchants remain with minimal stock. (Nomadikhan + Blacklotus - give us a shout if you decide to revive this market at any point). Pristine: Aeo's Attic Public Market @P25 - new community market on the east side of Pristine with 25+ mixed market merchants when I visitied, including animals and bulks and actively recruiting more players to place merchants with market stalls set up and ready to go. (Managed by Aeo) Driftwood Market & Inn @U11 - small community market and public inn getting up and running on the south coast of Pristine. There's a small handful of merchants there at the moment, and lots of market stalls free for others to add to. (Managed by Kasumi) Xanadu: Forest Market @C22 - is a self-service horse market that opened last summer, selling speed and draft horses, hellies, donkeys and mules, easily accessible by boat. (Managed by Teana and Sentoria) Glasshollow Market Reloaded @D10ish - re-founded under new management and mostly now concentrated on the lower terrace by the coast , accessible by boat, though a dozen or so of the old Glasshollow merchants are still active just off-deed on the upper terrace too. The new market has a dozen or more mixed market merchants of its own selling all sorts. Just park at the old impalong site where you see forges all around the square by the shore. Also on the highway system with signposts from Glasshollow (and an easy sprint from there on foot) if you're coming overland. (Managed by Smilingcat I think?) Sleepys Island @D/E25 - on the inland face of a little island in the north east of Xan. 10+ merchants all easily accessible and visible from the waterside; settlement token is a short trek up a winding route through the nearby mine but is navigable! NEXA Market @G24 - east of Summerholt on the highway with 20+ mixed market merchants, selling armour, tools and rares, plus animals in self-service pens with a key merchant next door at Amish Paradise Stables & daily sermons. It is accessible by boat but can be a bit of a trek in low winds from other servers so I tend to run an alt over from Summerholt when I want to shop if I'm not in the area with a gale at my back - it's a quick and easy run from Summerholt and on the highway system. (Managed by Aniceset) Hunters Moon Marketplace @H15 - east-south-east of Vrock's Landing is a new market now open and under ongoing development. I'm advised it has five mixed market merchants at the moment including bulks on a key merchant; I've not yet had a chance to check it out myself, but it it accessible by boat via canals from the west and north sides of the map and looks like, with a little time and derring-do you could run an alt over by road from Vrock's Landing. It's not currently on the highway but is right across the bridge from Arrowhead Orchard which *is* on the highway system. (Managed by Playtime) Eden Bazaar @H23 tucked away at the very bottom of Summerholt Lake has three to four mixed market merchants selling assorted goods including rares, gifts, furniture in bulk pens and a charming little inn. (I think managed by Rhea?) Tarsis Harbour Market @R13 - lovely little market deed with self serve animal pens on a key merchant, and 6+ curated themed shops/stalls, selling rares, farm bulk goods, blood, dyes & novelty gift items. Charming garden centre vibe and a cafe upstairs which I loved. Look for the white and grey stripe lighthouse as you hug the mountain and you'll find it easily. (Managed by Luniraen) Misty Rock Horse Market @T12 - A beautifully laid out horse market (one of the very first that I visited many years ago, and has clearly influenced many subsequent horse market sites). There's also a trader here and horse tack for sale. (Managed by Malena/Katspurr) Crafter's Legion Market @M7 - Only a couple of merchants remained when I came here last and with almost no stock. (Martynas, Richtje and MrCoolMan - let me know if this market gets a revival at any point) Fir Market @T8ish - south-west of Newspring and by the coast. All merchants have left due to player inactivity, so nothing there at present but will be happy to add it back in if/when it is revived.
  2. CTP is a trading island in the middle of the Bunny Sea. x9 y34 (approximately) Easy access by any size vessel. 2 more spaces available for bulk trader's buildings. many stalls for your personal merchant are already built. Guild hall for workers, complete with free beds and 68+ ql meals. There is also a trader on the island. If you want to earn silver, Andromas has plenty of work to be done.
