  1. There is a much bemoaned problem concerning merchants, particularly isolated single ones - many potential customers don't have easy access to coin while out travelling. Please let NPC merchants offer banking facilities like a token - at least let players withdraw coins at these NPC locations, so that customers can then make a purchase. Currently 10% of the money received by the NPC merchant goes into the 'King's coffers' as a cash sink. Please let NPC merchants accept treasure hunt deed upkeep credits in exchange for up to 10% of the total purchase price - the money goes to the King's pot anyway. This should encourage a healthy marketplace economy.
  2. This is my brother's idea, and I'd like to expand upon it. He says, wouldn't it be good if players who had not logged into a game in a while, would get an email from the BBEG (end game boss) saying pretty much "What are you waiting for? Come and get me!" Wurm doesn't have an end game as such, but it made me think of situations in Wurm where it might be cool to receive an email from one of the NPCs. For example: From the Rift Warmaster - "I'll be invading Deliverance tomorrow at 20:00 EST with my waves of minions, come face me if you dare." From an NPC Merchant - "Look I'm gonna quit if you don't come back and pick up your money and/or give me some more goods to sell!" From an on deed NPC Trader - "I'm a bit worried that deed upkeep is low, you know I won't stay around if the deed disbands - just a heads up - come back soon!" etc. These emails could be opt out, so people don't get spammed more than they are happy. Just a few ideas
  3. So it took me a while to understand how to enable the ability to use Trader Contracts, then it took me a little longer to realize I didn't need to do this just to place a Trader in my Dedicated Server's world. What I'm struggling with now, is editing the inventory of my Trader. I'm sure it can be done, to allow a customization of what the Trader will initially sell or not sell. I figured out that I can 'Give' an item to my Trader, but not how to remove or alter the existing items on my Trader. Also as a side question, how do you rotate NPCs? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to rotate my Bartender!
  4. I was playing round with zones the other day and the idea of making a zone where you walk in and a mob or a group of mobs spawns came to me, kind of like a popup but instead of a message(or even as well as a message) you get creatures spawn. For example on entering a grave yard and skeletons spawn that kind of thing, perhaps with a timer for resetting the zone once the mobs are killed. A few other ideas that could go with that could be treasure chests and loot (kill the mob and a treasure chest appears) and a control on the mobs and NPC's to keep them confined to the zone would be good too.
