We are a group of new players to wurm, looking for anyone who is also fresh to the game that want to join a group and grow together!

Mount Wurm is looking for new players to join it's developing settlement. We are primarily going to be a large market based community, with residential and common areas throughout the deed. We have specific plans for our property and this will be very organized and planned out, so if you are looking to drop buildings everywhere this won't be for you. The current deed is 37*29 located at the mountain top south of overture, with plans for expansion if possible. New players welcome (most of us are new and learning, but are dedicated). The following positions are immediately available. We want DEDICATED people to their professions and skills, meaning if you apply for these you should expect this to be your job within our community (and we hope you will thrive to be the best at it). We plan to follow a Master/Apprentice format for players considering most are learning (it is melody after all), so come join and strive for that top spot! All new players joining Mount Wurm will be given welcome packages and a Large Cart to make the journey a little easier. This sheet will be updated as positions become available or are filled. We've recently moved to a new place deep in the forests of E15. I'm looking for a fellow adventurer (new or old) who is looking for a fresh start somewhere. I live in the GMT+9 Time Zone(Korea) and I play most evenings. We don't have to always play at the same time--I just want someone interested in building and inhabiting a new place deep in the woods with me. How hilarious would this be as an intro on a dating site? I have a pretty busy work week but I can still log on a few hours a day, and on weekends. Anyway, if you are interested at all I will happily accept any skill set. I just want to make sure you enjoy Wurm enough to stick around for a while and not disappear after a few days. I already have some materials, a ship for moving, and a decent skill set. Send me a pm here, leave a comment, or send Yekrut a message in game if you're interested. I'm on Xanadu. [update Jan 2017] 3 guys moved with me, but 2 are MIA. So it's me and him, and things are great, but 1 or 2 others would also be nice. We have 3 bee hives, marble, silver, tons of apple trees, and a building plan that's rather ambitious, but unique. We plan on making a big hidden farm and other facilities soon. I'm living in GMT-4 in USA now. A lot of things have been built but there is still more I need some help with. I don't have coin to offer for help, so that's why I offer co-ownership. The living spaces are equal among me and whoever joins. Hoping to find 1-3 people to work together in a vision. I have a very unique design in mind for this settlement. Some people have asked for photos of what I want to do. I have built it in deedplanner but if I post them I'm concerned someone else will build it before I can. So I can only say that the design is unique and not something I have ever seen before in Wurm. I also want to keep the terrain looking as natural as possible. You can raise any skill you want here, just check with me in advance and I'll tell you where is cool to do it. There's a huge farm that needs help with--opportunity for farming skill gain and half the crops I harvest at 80ql+. I like to share things we work on together, so you help with the farming you get half the harvest at 80ql+. There is a big mine with a neat layout, where I'm currently living until the houses are made, and it's on deed so your stuff would be safe. We have about every ore vein there except slate so far. I'm sure I'll dig one out eventually. I'm between work contracts right now so I can play more than I did before. If you're the first person to join up I'll give you a 3-speed unicorn to love. If you decide to leave some day you can certainly take it with you. Thanks for reading. [update Oct 2017] 3 people joined up last month. Things have been going pretty well. One guy decided to leave and make his own settlement, so there was room for one more. Another guy is interested, so when I know his decision I will update the topic again. The bridges are basically completed for the settlement. Now it's time to start the houses.

We, are like the humble hermit crab. We out grew our home, so we sought out another. Our village. Back on the rainbow mountains. She was a hard place, dangerous to even walk. We were secluded, cut off from the world, and had little room to grow. I, and others, knew we could not long survive nor prosper in the lands, so we decided to leave. There was a division between the villagers. Those of us that wished to stay, and those who wanted to leave. We suffered a division and lost family and friend alike, the day we set sail. We did not know what we were looking for when we left, but when we found it, we could not deny our hearts. It seemed like months, traveling the seas and exploring the islands. We were running low on supplies, and morale was becoming low, but right when we thought our quest was for bought, we found the promised land in the oldest part of the world. An ancient ruin, which caused our breath to halt. An old city, long abandoned. Only a shadow of it's former glory. A small whisper, in the wood. We couldn't help but feel that this was our destination, our goal, our new home. Looking back now, I know it is what had called us all that time. Beckoning, pleading, begging for us to reclaim her and breath new life into the land. Finding home was only a small part of our journey, however. As we explored the ruined city and delved into the old mines and dungeons it became apparent that the hated enemy had reached it's invading hand into this part of the world. The old beasts. The ancient Fomorians. The monsters. They make this land dangerous as well, but we know we can't allow them to scare us off. Not now. We fight them off, defend ourselves with the rich resources we pull from the earth. Weapons and fire and walls, all built for our survival. We are strong, and so shall prove it. Our flag will stay where it stands and grow more powerful with each passing day! Our enemies and any threat shall fall before our wake, and bow as our city rises to outgrow the horizon. No hardship will, nor can, stop us. The whispers in the wood, shall be loud, once more. __________________ Case anyone was curious, this is the back story for the new settlement of Whisperwood. It's a new village on the independence server and this story is true :3
