http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Wood_shingle_roof Incorrect statement: A minimum Carpentry level of 20 is required to begin the roof on a one story building. http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Multi-story_housing Incorrect statement: ...With 20 skill a roof may be placed over the first floor... A wooden shingle roof can be placed on a single story building with 5 carpentry. (Verified on the test server today). I'm not certain if this 20 carpentry statement appears on any other page, I just noticed it on these two pages.

Cannot Build Roof / Multi-Story (No Plan Option In Menu)
Manifestation posted a topic in Server Bugs
This is on a built floor (not a ground tile) : Tested on stone brick and slate shingle floors I've tested it in a few buildings now, some with writs I hold some without, I've had other people test this too. This was tested with mallet, hammer, and trowel (just to be sure) This is stopping people from building multi-story as there is no "plan XXX above" option - in fact, if you have a constructed floor, even on the ground level, you can't build anything, including your roof. -
I was thinking of how i was going to build my first multi-story house and was wondering just how functional the top levels of the house will be other then for decoration/beds. I don't see a horse and cart being able to reach any BSB on the upper floors making the use limited without a lot of work. I guess you can smith up on the top levels but think about a few things how are you going to get water, logs and other stuff up there? Will we be able to get a sm cart up the stairs or will it be only what we can carry on us? Should we have a new storage container that would span across all floors? How do you see the new multi-story house functioning? Will it be just a cosmetic feature with little to no use?
