Attention SFI: @Shydowand I would like to formally invite you all to celebrate with us on Saturday November 20th 12pm EST- 12am EST. [11am-11pm Central][9am-9pm PST] We will be hosting a sort of non-impalong party with some competitive games, a prize raffle, free food, and fancy drinks in honor of Shydow reaching his 100 Plate Armor Smithing title. He worked very hard for this and the support from the community was outstanding, and so we'd like to give back! Some very kind and wealthy people have donated their time and gifts to our prize pool. We also received some amazing ideas for games from our community. Some games you can expect to play with us: Yellow Potion hide-n-seek, and an elite Wurm-style capture the flag. Please join us for the party, the games, and some potential carnage in the Arena. @Fabricant will be joining us after 12pm Eastern to run some exciting tasks for us, WARNING: COME PREPARED!! > Release Community Map This party spans over 2 deeds on the SE coast of Release, the main deed 'Psychedelic Sanctum'[T24] will feature the food and beverages [Located at and in front of the Psychedelic Tavern and Inn and Snack Shack] this will also provide a place for our priests to hang out safely. [Sermon Circles welcome, please organize amongst yourselves]. Across the bridge from the main deed will be 'Park N Play'[S24] a place to park your boats securely on deed to avoid decay, as well as our Capture the Flag game and the Imperial Dragonsmith Arena built for sparring and potential GM carnage. The North East Xanadu Alliance (NEXA) is hosting its first community-wide event on November 10 - 12, 2017, the Summerholt Fall Festival. NEXA is based out of Summerholt on Xanadu, and many events are planned in the area and at the nearby Amish Estates, the NEXA Market and Sanctuary, and Amish Farms. Map of Area: While we will have many people offering imps and other specialty items, the main purpose of the event is to host a number of fun carnival-style events. These games are free and open to all members of the Wurm Online community. The specifics (dates, times, locations) of the games are still in planning and will be released soon. As a preview, we will include: Sailboat circuit races, A horse race (the “Summerholt 5000”), Fishing contests, A horse breeding contest, A pie-making contest, Musical chairs, And everyone’s favorite “Needle in the Haystack”. Bring out your priests! We will also be hosting 24/7 sermons at the NEXA Market and Sanctuary. FAQs: Why another impalong? You can never have enough events in a game like Wurm Online. We realize there have been a lot of impalongs lately, but our close knit family of over 100 deeds prefers to stay close to home while we tend to our sheep, sow our fields, build our castles, and grind our skills. We feel that the next best thing to going to an impalong event is hosting an event ourselves. Wait, is this an impalong? Yes, we will have highly skilled players around doing item improvements for tips. Most materials will be provided, but there may be some instances where some rarer materials will need to be sourced. Is this just a marketing event? No, unlike other impalongs, we could care less if you shop at our amazingly stocked and competitively priced markets. Can we…? How about a...? Will there be a....? Yep, I joined the huge amount of bloggers out there, just today and mainly out of completely selfish reasons ;P I'm probably not the only one here who wants to make their own games and hopefully make a living from it, so I thought I should share my blog and maybe there are some nice conversations coming from it https://fartoindie.wordpress.com/ feel free to tell me what you think but be careful with criticism, I'm actually reading what people say and probably take too many things quite serious. The sandbox type genre seems to be popular. I am wondering if anyone has discovered another game similar to Wurm? A lot of games don't come up in searches, so perhaps someone is playing/trying something that is up and coming (or an oldie but a goodie), please share it here. Currently at the start just reached Besaid Island and will be working from there. Various things will be new game, Grinding, Listening to story (Japanese Vocals, English Subs based on the NA version). and sphere grid completion, Blitzball, and Arena + more and what not. WARNING: My computer does NOT run this 100%, there WILL be some lag, but it's fair enough to enjoy with minor annoyances that will likely make you feel irritated (Digital Audio scratching and such) but it's usually short lived. Greeting Wurmians, Rolandt of Sporta held the first ever Sporta Games as a lead up to the big Winter Games for Mol Rehan. There were many competitors attending the event including Evadaly, Beerdrinkingredneck, Hordem, Christa, Kriet, Miniroll, Rothschild and Anarchistrise. There were three events for the initial Sporta Games. Event winners were...... 1st event: Horse Race: Miniroll Prize: Rez Stone 2nd place Rothschild Prize: 2 Silver 2nd event : Short Bow Paintball: Kriet Prize: 5 Silver 2nd Place Anarchistrise 3rd event: Cattle Round-up: Kriet Prize: 90ql Rare Rope Tool (88woa and 84 coc) 2nd place Miniroll The overall winner of the games was Kriet with Miniroll taking second place. Fun was had by all and if the Inaugural game are any indication then the Big Winter Games at Sporta will be a huge success! Hope to see more Mol Rehan come out and compete! Note: Yes I realize I am the author of the post and I won the event. But then who doesn't self promote every now and then.

Welcome all! PUZZLE PLAZA MARKET AND EVENT DEED: LOCATION: 25X 32Y DELIVERENCE SERVER Hello all and welcome to the Puzzle Plaza thread. The Plaza is up and running, The event section should be open in time for a Christmas event. After wroking long hours, Puzzle Plaza is now the main MarketPlace for the whole Deliverence server. I would like to Reach out to all the players that helped with DMP and watched as it fell. The DMP was a place built by many good players all with the right intentions. The reason it was built and the person who birth the idea may have been alittle less forth coming of why. So to all that helped I hope Puzzle Plaza will be in your travels for the future. Accomplishments: Since opening the Market has attracted over 50 mercahnt and has Hosted 2 major events: The server wide god spells were successfully casted on the 22nd of september 2012 and the Troll king was slain one week later on the 30th of september 2012. We are working toward a great place where the whole community can meet up and have fun, make friends, and celebrate this wonderful game we all love to play. Something new: Webbler, Monctonclown, Tep and Snoo have been working on a desert and when complete will be 16,500 tiles in total, making it the biggest desert on Deliverence server. It is located Just west of the main entrence of the Plaza. For all new hunters and all old, it should prove a nice hunting ground and centeral locations for all. The Truth behind the events. After hearing of a place called Puzzles labyrinth, I quickly contacted these Players. Griphyth (also see blog) Faeran (Maze Designer) Nicilie (Building Champion) We Lassoed the Idea together in Fusion of a game/event deed, Comperhensive Market area and a Well designed Puzzle/Labyrinth, in a compact area. The Puzzle: Monthly events ( 1 week on 5-6 weeks off). Games, Mini quests designed by us for the players, Team events with preists needed to complete tasks inside the Labyrinth (challenges for older players) and a 4 day event timer, for starting events at maximum players online ( Sermons between thurs-sat) While players gather for a Sunday event time. The Market: Mini map, Colored sections, Player name and description, trader, mailbox and altars. The Grounds: 8 Bed Inn (perplexed Pillow), Working church with water (Priested pietism), Stable and parking area (Puzzle Parking). Puzzles crew and design team: Faeran, Nicilie, Griphyth, Lizabeth, Snoo, Wulfgar.
