  1. Over the course of a few months since I started playing, various people who've lived on my deed have either moved or or quit playing without notice. By quit playing they've, either communicated they're not coming back, or failed to get back to me on multiple inquiries outside of the game. My suggestion comes into play here, when someone stops playing and has no intention on coming back we really really need a way to deal with locked items such as BSB to say the least of all the other items that can be locked. I'm not the kind of player that really cares to control everything on deed, I like players have their own freedom. What doesn't make sense to me is how illogical it is to not allow the major of a village not be able to unlock specific items so that they can be removed or repurposed. It's driving me nuts! I have no way of removing or reusing stuff and I'm left with a giant mess... The solution shouldn't have to be, "push" everything off to a corner. I'm not sure how something like this can be addressed as I'm not aware of any other threads related to this topic, nor do I understand the development history of the game and the choices behind this specific decision. If anyone would like to comment in agreement or disagreement I'd like to hear your thoughts and equally it would be really nice to see a post from a developer on the matter. From yours truly - a irritated new Wurm player! 😡
  2. Hey all! This week we've been doing final touches to Wurm Unlimited. It's been all hands on deck with testing and bugfixing - ranging from final bits of work on the Linux dedicated server to final tests of Adventure mode. As such, there's not really much news to show off - although we do have a rather exciting plan for the weekend, which you can find below... Remember, Wurm Unlimited comes out on Wednesday 21st October (next week!) and can be pre-ordered at 20% off of the release price from DLGamer. Wurm Unlimited Developer Livestream This Sunday at 8pm CEST, you'll be able to join myself and various developers for a livestream preview of Wurm Unlimited over on Twitch.tv. It'll be an informal chance to ask any last questions that you have about the new game, while watching us play live and look at a few features. We'll have a look at the things people are most interested in Can't make it? We'll make sure the stream is available to watch after it happens, and might do a written summary of what goes on too if anything big comes up. Keep an eye on the forums and our social media outlets for a link to the stream and for any relevant updates. I expect it'll last for 1-2 hours - longer if there's demand for it! Screenshot of the Week This weeks' screenshot was taken by Journeya of a white dragon looming ominously over the players trying to slay it. Looks like fun! That's it for the final week before we release Unlimited. See you on Sunday?
  3. There have been insistences throughout the day at random intervals where it would become impossible to do any actions including moving around and in those cases the only way to temporarily fix it was to relog into the game...which was not guaranteed to fix the problem...it is still going on right now. For example, I've been experiencing a number of issues with my character freezing movement and not being able to walk/run, Part of this is connected to being on a cart, but my character is appearing to be off the cart, and the cart itself is appearing 5 to 10 tiles away. I cannot reach it to disembark. I've had to relog several times. Others in my alliance have reported the same kinds of issues all day. We're on the Pristine server. Any suggestions as to what may be happening?
