  1. Saddlebags and Small Carts

So I looked at the forum to find anything about saddlebags and indeed the community has quite a bit about wanting it. So, I will not go into detail about it other than... Saddlebags would be a great addition to wurm! Seriously. Now onto the Small Carts. "But wait Enigma... There are small carts." Yep, I think it would be a nice addition to the game to have the ability to hitch one horse to the cart. it makes sense to me considering that is what people do with horses. They hitch them to stuff they would rather not pull on their own.Of course you would still have to lead it. The other thing that would be a nice addition is the ability to load a single Large Crate or two Small Crates in the Small cart. I cannot count the number of times where I needed to carry just one or two crates somewhere or needed a crate in a location where horses are unable to go. Hitching up a large cart for one crate just seems... excessive to me. In these instances I am forced to spend a large amount of time pushing or pulling it to the location. Even if the ability to hitch is not going to fly, loading into a small cart would be awesome. Well theres my 2 cents worth of Saddlebags and Small Carts!
  2. As the title says, please allow the pick up of empty crates. We can pickup empty bulk storage containers and put them in their relevant container , it would be a great improvement to be able to do the same with the empty crates rather than have to embark on a cart or juggle them about with lines of crate racks.
  3. Hi. Sorry, but I feel like ranting! Somewhat constructively. *gesticulates heatedly and puffs hot steam out of nostrils* We (a group of three wagons) just lost 3 x 12 x 15 dirt/sand when we loaded our wagons on deed and then went to work on a highway, off deed. (large crates from crate racks straight into wagons) This is not right! I don't know the exact moment when the decay tick hit us, but the journey was about 5 minutes and during that time we lost almost two crates of supplies. And it's not the first time. Dirt, sand, mortar, bricks, everything can and has gone POOF! Same thing for ships. Who thinks it's fun to lose several crates of mortar as soon as they leave the safety of the deed? Nobody does! Think about traders, think about those hardworking highway builders. Resource equals more than just money; it's life, it's time, it's... mental health! Please address this issue, I am sure it's not unknown and has been reported before. Thank you! /Shmeric
  4. Lost materials from crates

Ok, today, just now, I was on my deed (Centersville on Independence), in an underground building (Centersville Long House). I was riding my large cart, opened a crate rack, dragged 3 crates to my cart (2 had 300 dirt, one had some less than 300 dirts in it). Went to my off deed location to do some leveling. When I got to the spot & opened my cart, I had lost dirt from at least 2 of my large crates. The ones that used to have 300 each in them only had 255 each in them. This is confirmed this trip. Other time, I left w/ some full (300) crates of rock shard, when I got to the job, I was missing rock shard, but was not certain if they had 300 in them originally or not. This time I am sure. I had 300 dirt in each of the full crates and now, 45 are missing from each crate. I want my dirt back! .. lol.. or , well.. if you could fix this quit deleting my materials would be hugely appreciated. Thanks your time, Teeebomb
  5. [Fixed] Large crate pickup

As I underestand large crate should not be possible for someone to be picked up into ones inventory. If I try to drag large crate from large cart to my inventory I get "You can only drop the large crate.". But if I drag a large crate from large cart to "character" window it will be placed in my inventory.
  6. Just as the title says. 550 of these things are quite unwieldy when not combined.
  7. [sold]WTA superme small crate

Hi I want to sell superme small crate 31 ql Starting bid:50c Increment: 25c Sniper protection 1h Pickup at deliverence d17
  8. Large crate visual bug

Today, while moving tar from a large crate, I pulled out 38 of the 45 in it. The visual of the crate didn't update. I then tried to pull out the rest, and was able to pull out only the 7 (and a small piece), but even empty of tar, the visual of the tar sitting in the crate was still at 45. 10. Supreme Large Crate Sold

Wanting to Auction off a Supreme Large Crate. I don't have any means of shipping it so it would have to be picked up. If you're close to the Summerholt area I can bring it by cart. [20:34:36] A large crate made from planks, primarily used to transport goods. This is a supreme example of the item, with fine details and slick design. It is made from walnut. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 33.756165, Dam: 0.0. Starting bid 3s Minimum Increase: 50c Buyout 7s Sold
  11. WTS Supreme Large Crate

WTS Supreme Large Crate. I have no way of shipping this atm, so it'd be pickup only for now. [17:29:21] A large crate made from planks, primarily used to transport goods. This is a supreme example of the item, with fine details and slick design. It is made from walnut. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 33.756165, Dam: 0.0. Make an offer
  12. I would like to ask that all crates be built into a "generic" form. Meaning there is no more Cherrywood, Oakenwood, Maple, Cedar prefix on crates. I would like to be able to sort crates by the names I give them, not by wood and then my name. Also makes it easier for trading purposes as the cedar vs. other woods isn't relevant. new action: "Coat" (active item tar 2.5 kilo's for small and 5 kilo's for large) gives crate an "enchant" that decreases decay per tick based on the quality of the application? (based on natural substances skill and tar quality) as the crate takes damage, the damage prevented is applied to the "enchant" coating and not the crate? This could also be something for ships.

  14. Wooden beams are OP

I can understand That a slab wont fit in a bulk container, its made of 4-5 shards... but a beam is made of 1 log, and I still have log and scrap left after making 1. Why something so simple haven't been fixed? Suggestion : Nerf Beams and make em stash-able in bulk containers.
  15. We only lost 48x planks so it's not a big deal but I'm reporting this because no one (including me) has ever heard of this happening before. - An alliance member in-game was on my deed creating planks for market stalls. - He created 24x planks and dropped them into a large crate. - He then created another 24x planks and dropped them into a large crate. - When he opened up the large crate the maplewood planks were not there. - The wood scraps, 44x birchwood planks, 24x willow planks and 8 small nails in the large crate remained intact. - I had him check his inventory and he had no planks. - I had him check his event log and it logged him as having created the planks. - I double-checked the wagon and the large crate for planks but there were none. - There are no other storage containers or piles of items around the area where the issue occurred that I can see. - Afterwards, I pulled the crate to another tile to force the server to update the crate's position. - We tested it by putting items in and pulling them out again and the large crate is working fine. You can contact me via PM if you want my alliance member's name to contact him about this because it happened to him, not me.
  16. Most items are bought and sold at 1,000. Would like to see a new crate added to the game that can either hold 500 or 1000 per crate. Current its 150 for small crates and 300 for Large crate Lets go up one size! Super Size me !
  17. I think that all big ships should be able to carry at least a wagon and 9 large crates so we can make delivery and hauling things easier. The way it is now we can only haul a wagon and four large crates in a knarr.
  18. I have no idea what this would be worth if anything so going to auction it off i guess. The crate is located in the K8 area on Independance and will be pick up only 34ql - rare large crate, birchwood (K8 area on Independance - pick up only) starting bid: 50c increments: 20c buyout: 3s no reserve, 1h sniper Note: This does glow when it is on the ground so can be used for decoration too.
  19. I have posted this idea in a few topics but i guess i will put it up as its own suggestion. I am suggesting that we be allowed to drag and drop crates to and from a cart/wagon to a boat and it triggers the load timer but transfers the crate over instead of making us unload only to have to load them again. Just think of it no more unload-disembark-embark (hope you put them in the right spot) then load them up. With the crate transfer you could just open your boats inventory drag and drop your crates and wait for the load timers to transfer them over then go back and get more. It is already in the game that you can drag and drop the crate but you get this error.. [07:19:25] You can only drop the large crate. I think this would take very little work to implement since most of this idea we can already do but it is blocked with the above message. I can't see anything game breaking about it and It would also open up the possibility to implement a new storage container that we can use to hold crates in a more organised manner using this same crate transfer suggestion to load them into that storage container. Edit: While they are working on permissions maybe the boat, wagon and cart can have a new load/unload setting added in that makes it easy to allow someone to load/unload making the idea work even better.
  20. Well i had posted in someones suggestion thread about allowing shipping of crates through the mail and thought it merited some discussion as to what people thought about this. (This is not a suggestion but a discussion thread on if it would be feasible and how it would effect the game) Here i the idea so far... Allow mailboxes to ship crates. This can be done by moving your cart/wagon close to a mailbox then drag the crate from the open cart window to the mailbox window. When you drag and drop the crate into the mail window it starts the load timer and moves the crate over into the mailbox. (send them the normal way like all the other mail) When the person gets his/her crate in the mail they can see what is in them now so they know it is all there when collecting and once collected can either drag and drop to his/her cart or just unload them to the ground from the mailbox. All this needs is the ability to drag and drop crates with a load timer and permissions set to allow them to be mailed. (we already need the drag and drop for boat to cart/wagon transfers anyway. Points that have been brought up so far is pricing to mail the crate and the time it takes to arrive. The thought was to charge a flat fee per crate the suggestion so far was 50c and they wanted to have a days wait but i think that the added cost whatever they might be would be an incentive enough to use a shipper over the mail at least on large orders... What do you all think about the idea? Love it.. hate it.. what price should be charged..etc
  21. Unable to load boat

You can not load a caravel with the crate visible to the captain when the crate is close to water level. How hard is it to extend the reach for load to 2-3 tiles instead of one? My only option now is to leave all my stuff or build some kind of ramp out of dirt. And no this is not a suggestion it is a mechanical problem with loading crates and needs fixed. While i am here i have a solution to this problem.. When you drag a crate from a cart to a boat it starts the load timer and transfers the crate over to the boat. Edit: For prospective here is a ss of the crate it is right next to the boat and right on the drivers slot and nothing. [23:55:46] You are too far away to do that.
  22. Bulk Storage Overhaul

(Some) problems with current bulk storage: 1. Need multiple containers for every type of storage, to sort QLs. 2. Because of #1, we have container clutter. 3. Because of #2, it is a nightmare trying to keep our craft shops organized - we build ships and wagons in them and make tons of suggestion posts for crate racks and Storage vaults. 4. Can't store fish! 5. Can't more more than your personal inventory when dragging out of it to another container. Possible solution - New storage container that: 1. Auto combines and groups items (like now), but does it in 5QL increments, so I can have QL95, QL90... QL5 iron, all in the same container 2. Holds all the material we can throw at it. 3. Doesn't have an image change when more than half full, because there is no longer a max full or half full point. Does show different if empty though, like crates. 4. Can hold metal or food or even FISH. Eliminate the BSB vs FSB needs. 5. Can drag from container to container at much higher volumes than personal inventory allows. Maybe 1000? I think that is still within the safe range to prevent a server crash? 6. Can be created in 3-4 different styles, for decorating purposes, which can be changed with a hammer or pliers. This lets you keep a theme of different container look for a different purpose, but functionally the same for each visual model. Why do this change? It makes our lives a whole lot easier, when planning craft shops, kitchens and farms. It makes server load a whole lot less. It makes client performance much better, when entering local of a deed that normally had 200+ bulk containers to render. Make the new containers take a ton of planks and nails if you want, but let's get rid of unsightly clutter. On the old servers, when you run across an old collapsed deed, what do you always find? 10+ BSBs of rocks, wood scrap, dirt and low QL crap.
  23. Like the title says i would like to see a key bind for LOAD/UNLOAD or LOAD_CARGO/UNLOAD_CARGO added in. Also while we are here talking about loading things how about adding in that when we drag crates to and from carts/wagons to a ship it starts a load timer and transfers the cargo over saving all the unnecessary actions of unloading only to have to load it back up again.

  25. This is an older request, but needs to be addressed or revived. Use a saw on a log to make a plank - fits in BSB/crate just fine. It is a non-impable construction material. Use a hatchet on a log to make a beam - will not fit in BSB or crate. It is a non-impable construction material. Why??? This should really be in server bugs in my opinion, but since it was brought up long ago and nothing done, I thought it deserved a revisit here.
