  1. On crash, or unexpected crashes on Windows/ Linux / mac of the client, can reset the currently used settings profile causing a big headache if one does not backup their settings.
  2. Game crashed and I was asked to post it on forum on the client. Did put everything to high in graphics after trying to enable glsl support with very low graphics which gave me 2 fps.   3. Hi, For the last two months at least I have not been able to open more than one client. Previously I could just click on the Wurm application icon and it would open a new client. However now when I do that it just goes to the window that currently open. If I right click on the program in "applications" and click "open", it again goes to the client that's already open and does not open a new client. This is pretty annoying because I want to buy premium for my dormant battery priest but there's no point if I can't have to two clients open. I'm running Wurm on a 2018 MacBook Air with macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and currently up to date Java. This seemed to start a few months ago when I could no longer use the old Wurm application that I had been using previously and as a result I had to download a new version from wurmonline.com. I apologize if this already has a thread, I did a few keyword searches but didn't see any applicable pages. Best, Dirk
  4. This is a bug report / query to see if I'm doing something wrong. This is how my client has been set for quite a while, and I swear I can recall a time when it used to work as expected. For a long while now, it hasn't. When I start the game, the window is usually the correct resolution, but below my task bar and not "maximized" as it should be, requiring me to do the maximizing. Usually the resolution is actually the same, so the GUI windows are fine. My wife's laptop does the same thing though, and it moves her windows around due to the resolution being different from start and maximizing.

Currently, the mouse sensitivity (set using the console command "sensitivity <value>", without the quotes, where <value> is a valid floating point value) uses a completely unbounded floating point value. The problem with this is it also accepts the special values positive infinity, negative infinity, and not a number (input as "Infinity", "+Infinity", "-Infinity", "NaN", "+NaN", or "-NaN", without the quotes). After setting mouse sensitivity to one of those special values, if you use click dragging to rotate your view in the game world it will mess up your client's rotation, causing the world to stop rendering (though the GUI components will still show up) and the compass GUI component to stop working properly. It can be fixed by relogging (Even a quick relog during which your character remains in the game world will work.). However, the special values positive infinity, negative infinity, and not a number should not be accepted for mouse sensitivity. One possible solution would be having it parse the sensitivity value as an integer (which doesn't accept those special values), then converting that to a floating point value (and possibly dividing the floating point result by some constant to still allow some fine tuning of the sensitivity). This is a minor issue considering that this bug does not provide any known benefits, is detrimental to the player that triggers it, and is not something obvious (and therefore is unlikely to be done).
  9. I'd attempted to imp an item that was in trader window, then removed it and imp'd it. Reset the trade by closing it and re-opening trade but it appears the exit from trade did not take according to logs though the window did close.
