  1. I built a couple of 1 tile bridges off the edge of a building to use as cosmetic bracing supporting it, with a wall at one end, and a fence at the other, so there is no way to get onto the bridge itself, as both ends are closed. Despite this, it steadily accumulates all the guards from the tower nearby, and once they are on the bridge, they are stuck there till they die of old age, including over server resets. They respond to calls for help by going into their attack animation, but never leave the bridge, and after a short while return to their idle animation. Bridge in question is named "Western Buttress" and is attached to the SW corner of the building named "Mock's Hold", deed named "Malaz Harbour" on the server Harmony, if anyone wants to investigate.
  2. Hi, My tower guards are dropping dead like flies - no apparent reason. Just equipping them with troll clubs - would that cause them to die.
  3. Hello, I'm in EPIC, in a PVP zone, and I have a deed with a guard tower on it. I am considering investing significant effort improving my local tower guards. This would be through both leading creatures to them to fight to get their fightskill up, as well as making equipment for them. Has anyone done this? Has it had a real effect on your security? Can tower guards be ramped up to the point where they're comparable to deed guards?
  4. I am observing this for some weeks: In my vicinity there is a guard tower with 5 guards. When I call for help only one of the three groups (i.e. one or two guards) respond - regardless how often I repeat the call for help. The others can be seen standing around (sometimes close to the fight scene, as seen in this screenshot): You see that I called the guards repeatedly, and they responded in local chat. However, instead of fighting they just stand and watch! (Lazy guys, probably on strike... ) Most other guard towers work as expected - I only remember having seen this behaviour once or twice before. It is perfectly reproducable with this one, though.
  5. The last patch that fixed that animals should go through locked fances has made the tower guards not being able to pass locked Gatehouses or fence gates. They do target and try to attack but stays inside(in safety) and dont run out. The two solutions to this i have found atm is to unlock or to allow Kindom entry on gatehouse writ.
