  1. An Old Alert Troll aggroed near me so I moved a short distance, brought it within range of a guard tower and called the guards. Guards and I were all attacking the troll but the old alert troll's (target window) health bar stayed green. Mouse-over on the troll showed that it was bleeding and then dying, but the target window health bar did not reflect this. I re-targeted the troll using the right click menu on the troll, but the target health bar was still green. The target window showed a picture of the old alert troll, and the correct name 'Old Alert Troll'. I looked around me to see if there were any more trolls or any other creatures, but there were none. This was on my deed, and there were no other mobs around. I clicked on a guard and the guard's red damage was showing correctly in the Select Bar's heath bar. After the old alert troll died, the target window stated 'No target' and the default wood texture.
  2. Just as the title says, every time I log back in, these 3 items are not how I left them. The Select Bar and Target window both need turned on and the Action Bar is always set to compact.
  3. The target window and the selection bar will not persist. I have to turn them on when logging in. The quickbar has only 1 icon - climb. Screenshot below.
  4. As the title suggests, the target window is not showing the health bar of enemy/mob in the "classic light" GUI skin. The classic light GUI skin improves my fps a lot at the same settings as "ironwood" GUI skin, just 1 little problem, there is no healthbar for enemies. The below picture depicts this:
  5. Sorry Fixed, was doing something wrong!
  6. How do i make my target window to look like in the image below this is how my target window looks like
  7. There is an issue with the Select bar in the classic and the classic light gui's If you rightclick and click the option Hide window.. it instead toggles the Target window, where it should be hiding the select bar. I've tested and this problem doesnt seem to affect the ironwood gui, since you cant rightclick the baritself to get the menu up to begin with in that gui.
  8. As the title suggests, I've had an idea concerning how we currently improve items that we cant pick up (guard towers, forges, chests etc etc) First lets familiarize ourselves with the content : We have two semi-new elements in the GUI - the target window, and the selected bar. The target window is really beginning to flesh out and fulfill its function without being too much of a clutter (random suggestion concept : somehow merge the target window with the fight window?). I'm loving how it shows the kingdom icons and health currently, and there's so much room for improvement there its really a fantastic GUI element. The selected bar however, I feel, is slightly useless. I cannot for the life of me think of an example when it would make my gaming experience more streamline or easier or benefit it in any way. Here's my suggestion : Modify the layout of the selected bar to match that of the targeted bar (an icon element, a name bar element, and an info bar element). The icon section could reflect whatever ingame item you have selected (a basic model, or 2d icon image would suffice) The name section would obviously still show the name of the selected item The info bar shows relevant information to the selected item (e.g What it requires to be improved, its current QL and damage) There we have it, a slight tweak to an existing GUi element to make it the equivalent of a PVE targeting window. Think of it as a crafters targeter. Akin to when we were gifted with the little "imp" column in our windows. Some examples of its use : Rushing through ruins clicking on items to see what has damage worthy of repairing Improving any item that can't be picked up (no longer need to examine) monitoring tile edge slopes while digging (i know we have the mouseover but this could be handy also) It would go a long way to further reducing the requirement for heavy event window spam - less text is best! Pro's and Con's would be appreciated, and any further suggestions / modifications to the concept. Please limit comments to constructive criticism otherwise.
  9. I use the target window very often. In my opinion the target window is too small. I often misclick and have trouble reading what I have selected without looking closely at it. I suppose this could be in in the "Text" category in the game's settings.
