  1. Tired of blowing up your weapons in a single rift? Ruining newly imped tools over a weekend of crafting? Fix your repair skill the easy way and say goodbye to paying for constant re-imps! Come to Moose Lodge (K24, Harmony) and level up repair on your schedule at affordable prices. Flat pricing schedule: 1-50 (Mallets) - 5s (2000+ stocked) 50-70 (Rings) - 5s (5000+ stocked) 70-90 (Chain Jackets) - 10s (2000+ stocked) All the items necessary to complete your title(s) are provided, in large batches, in one building, burned above 90 for maximum timers and minimum clicking. Instant runed mailboxes, beds, larder, and LMC are available for storing your food and coffee, recovering SB and coffee time, and using the mail system. All within easy reach of your repair station. What to expect when you're expecting (a title): 50 Repairman/Repairwoman can be achieved in a single session of several hours, with coffee, sleep bonus and affinity food. 70 Materia Tamer takes at least two, sometimes three long sessions. 90 Master Fixer takes around a week, 4-7 long sessions. Rings are maintained in a Large Magical Chest, and are ready at all times. Mallets and Chain Jackets require 24 hours notice to prepare for your arrival. After arriving we will play it by ear and make sure you have plenty of damaged items to repair until you achieve your desired title(s). Capacity: As the banner illustrates, Moose Lodge maintains 30 lava tiles for a burning capacity of 3000 per day. This allows for multiple people to be skilling repair concurrently without interruption. Suggestions: Bring affinity food, at least for Repair. Cheapest and easiest 10% skill gain bonus you can get. You will also get Mind Logic gains, and gains in Miscellaneous Items, so consider food affinities for those as well. Allow your SB bar to recharge before you begin. If you want a faster grind, bring some sleep powder and kahvesi (or ask, have kahvesi on site free for customers and usually have sleep powders for sale). Knowledge path offers a 25% boost to skillgain at level 11. Vynora followers and priests receive 10%. These bonuses stack with one another and with others, like sleep bonus. Going the distance journal gives an addition 2.5% skillgain bonus. If you are close to completion it may be worth completing before grinding repair. Have something to watch or stream in the background, or other toons to play. Repair training at Moose Lodge consists of pushing a button and then afk for 5-10 minutes. Thank you to all the past customers from the previous thread! Here's to another year of promoting one of Wurm's most neglected and most valuable background skills. Post in thread, DM on forums or PM in-game (/t munster hi!) to get on the schedule.
  2. I would like to suggest some form of Repair Skill milestone, such as the ability to visually see the QL and Damage level of an item or structure by mousing over it. This would be similar to the Digging milestones you receive at skill 15, 30, 45 and so on. A mixed skill requirement would make sense for this. An example of this would be requiring a certain skill in both masonry and repair to see the QL and damage of a stone structure. Each type of structure or item, based on the material it is made of would have a similar skill requirement.I believe a fair minimum requirement to mouse over and see both QL and damage would be at least somewhere between 40-50 in both skills. Starting off at perhaps 1 or 2 tiles away and increasing viewable tile distance with increments of 10-20 skill. There should be a maximum viewing distance however, perhaps 4 tiles. Examples : (Repair 40) + (Carpentry 40) or (Masonry 40) = ability to view QL and Damage of structure or item at 1 tile distance. (Repair 60) + (Carpentry 60) or (Masonry 60) = ability to view QL and Damage of structure or item at 2 tile distance. (Repair 80) + (Carpentry 80) or (Masonry 80) = ability to view QL and Damage of structure or item at 3 tile distance. (Repair 100) + (Carpentry 100) or (Masonry 100) = ability to view QL and Damage of structure or item at maximum distance of 4 tiles. Keep in mind that these figures are only examples and are open to suggestion. This ability would further enhance the game play for players that put forth dedicated time and effort into their respective skill sets. I am interested in what everyone else thinks so please give input.
