Ok, I found myself in a bit of a conundrum recently. I was hired to assist in building ships for a new deed owner. This required me to move to his deed which was across water. I loaded my stuff into my cart, and then into the ship. My cart had to be left behind. We arrived at the new deed and I began using a cart from the deed to move my stuff to my new build area. Not having the time to complete my house I wanted to protect my belongings (the cart is full of very valuable items and non) until I can come back online and finish my home. So I take a lock I have in my stuff and I attach it to the cart, afterwhich I realized I was missing the key. Annoying but not a big deal because my deed owner should be able to open it it, NOPE... come to find out he did not own the cart, it was left abandoned and he found it while working on his new deed. So now I am stuck with a cart full of everything I own in game, everything that I've spent all my wurm money on. Locked and nobody can open it. I asked around to see if anyone knew or had heard of the player who owns it and got nothing. I've searched for my key on my old deed several times. I'm super stuck here. I hate to say it but if I lose all this stuff that may be the final blow for me. So if you or anyone you know have seen or know or play with a player named Vandam please direct him to me.
