  1. Brand new server! Eventually will become a cluster as the community grows. PVPVE (PVE will only be INSIDE the capital city.) There is currently no community map, I haven't worked out how to get one set up. Help would be greatly appreciated. Role-play is currently being worked on due to having issues getting the forums established. PVP will be faction based. A PVE area will be established in the center of the map as the capital city. Player made kingdoms are allowed and encouraged. Anyone who claims "No Kingdom" will be considered a bandit. Working on modifying the game file to reflect this.   2. I installed Wurm Unlimited on a dedicated local (LAN) server and everything was running fine for over 12 hours of playing. I shut down and restarted the server many times without a hitch. I shutdown the server last night, woke up this morning, started the server and the name + all the settings were changed for the local server (IP was same (ok), Game tweaks were reverted to default). I changed the name, tried to launch the server and it does connect. It is when i log into the wurm client it shuts down and a box pops saying ====== CONNECT DENIED ====== The server is currently not available. Please try later. I have not changed any settings from when I was playing just last night. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you !
  3. Hello, I googled Wurm Unlimited Forums but it brought me here-- I've never played the online version, and have never had problems logging into Wurm Unlimited until now. Wurm had an update and I went to run the patcher bat. file for livemap/compass mod and then went to log in to the game. It still won't let me in and I keep getting this message-- I don't know what to do... I am sorry if this is the wrong area to post- not sure where to go. Thank you in advance!   4. now that we can get recipes from Trolls and Goblins... why not let them advance a bit more by making camps (deeds) around there spawners with special fences and special buildings containing resources having like ... Kitchens containing ingredians and recipes and ofc having special Goblins and trolls called like ChefGoblin and ChefTroll being weaker the normal but only 1 per camp and those shudd have a higher recipe drop chance like dubble it. the camps shudd be rare and have alot of different stuff and huts . the camps needs some kind of protection from Players right well have like 5-6 Campguardian Goblins / trolls and those are a bit stronger then normal. about as strong as the fierce once but not named fierce... but they do not hunt you more then 15 tiles outside of the camp. the Camp has a higher spawn rate inside it then normal. a smithy hut containing .Metals ,Gear ,resources and so. and some kind of Leader in the camp (Troll king, Goblin Leader maybe???) and because of the smithy hut there shudd be some kind of mine also. this is just my idea i think it would make the game alot more challenging if we hade this because when you finaly found one it would be a pain in the *** to bring it down and you would get special and rare stuff from but mostly having fun with your crew when you charging something like this with about 5 players. that all thanks for reading this and i hope there is some one more then me who thinks like this ps: you might find some miss spellings but im not the best typer

Betty has been the inspiration to bring this to Mythmoor and will be an invaluable asset as Co - Host. Thank you for all your input in advance So what is an “impalong”? The name comes from ‘improve’ which is of course how you better all items in Wurm Unlimited, you ‘imp’ them. The event takes place at Candlekeep, which is on the Prime server, (Top/middle North ) You don’t need to be of high skill to participate.For sign up to help add yourself to the Excel Sheet Online (weekend Fri - Sun) 27 - 28 - 29 In order to hold an Imp Along we will need the following: 1.) Facilities (Done = Candlekeep) 2.) Workstations and Storage (Done) 3.) Resources (please Sign up and state what you can bring) the higher level the better but all quality is appreciated 4.) Players to Improve Items (please Sign Up which craft you are willing to support) 5.) Players who need Items improved (we are planing to hold Imp Along if 1-4 can be filled.   7. In GM mode I created a character, named him Nahjo, gave him "key of the heavens" and turned him into a "god". I had him aligned with Magranon. I then made another character a follower of Nahjo, created an altar and blessed it with all statuettes (even trying unnamed one), but was unable to pray. Can anyone help me out with this? The spells created for Nahjo followers on my server are pretty sweet, but I have no clue what the penalties are (I'm certain they're quite different from WO). Is there anyway to see what the penalties are? I've mined and dug without issues. Lastly, I made Nahjo a person from Jenn-kalon as my character who's following him is from there, but when I started following him I became hated by my guards. Anyway to change this? Sorry for all the questions, I just wanted to ask all that I could think of that needed asking. Thanks for any help!

Issue The server is unable to add entries to the PERMISSIONSHISTORY table in wurmplayers.db. Fix Warning: The following steps will involve dropping and recreating a database table, and may result in loss of data. It is possible to recreate the permissionshistory table by dropping and recreating it with the correct data type (Sqlite is not able to change data types on existing tables). Make a backup of the world directory (eg. Creative), found in steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited for the client/server, or steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited Dedicated Server for the dedicated server. We are looking at options for a system to implement database schema updates. Edit: Wrong database specified in application instructions, corrected wurmlogin.db to wurmplayers.db. Fix This issue has been fixed for new worlds in Wurm Unlimited build 842455 and Wurm Unlimited Dedicated Server build 842456, released 3rd November 2015. There is now an option to configure tree growth in the server gui, which should be set to 20 for the default spread rate. Issue Tree growth for new servers is not configurable, and those of the servers in Creative_backup and Adventure_backup are set to 0, which prevents trees from growing or spreading. A fix has been pushed but will not be available until it has been included in a release, after which the option will be available in the server configuration gui. Workaround This workaround is only recommended if you feel confident in modifying the database, otherwise you can wait until the fix has been released. You should not update the database without first shutting down the server and making a backup. The tree growth configuration item is located in the SERVERS.TREEGROWTH field in the wurmlogin.db database, and is an integer that gives a 1 in <treegrowth> chance of spawning a nearby tree or a one in <treegrowth> chance of spawning a mushroom when the tile is polled.
