  1. # What happened I was using Waystones to find a Route back home to my deed, Meow. I knew I was not far from home, but noticed the waystones were giving me a route 1000+ tiles long. I tested more waystones along the same exact road and found that there is a much, much shorter route (380 tiles) that the waystones were NOT giving me. This waystone gave me a route pointing West, 1023 tiles away from Meow I tested another waystone and it gave me a route pointing East, 380 tiles from Meow. This waystone is only 11 tiles east of the first waystone. They're right next to eachother on the same highway. In the spoilers I included the map (and the Red Dots indicate the two waystones I tested, right next to each other) -- however the map is missing a tunnel through the mountain in the southeast. I presume the 1023-tile-long route was trying to take me southwest to Haerren Hall, east to the mountain, then north through the mountain tunnel. The 380-tile-long route took me almost directly northeast straight home. # What you expected to happen I assumed that Waystones should find all possible routes to your destination and give you the shortest route. Ostensibly, the waystones know the lengths of the routes, since I tested two waystones which are both directly next to eachother and both connected on the exact same stretch of highway... so why did the first waystone (and all waystones west of it) keep giving me a route 3x longer? # Steps to reproduce I included the exact location of both tested waystones and I set the destination to Meow, then tested the other one by first clearing the route then setting destination to Meow again.
  2. Unfinished waystones (still needing a compass) may not be improved (no option to improve) despite showing a shards icon in the imping column. Are they meant to be imp-able? or Is the display of the shards in the imping column an error? Thanks for looking into this.
  3. Initially reported via Support as Ticket #55463, so a GM could come and Inspect the decay damaged waystones before I repaired them, was instructed by a CM that the GM's said, make a forum report. What is Supposed To Happen:.... Way Stones - Cats Eyes for 'activated' highway' are supposed to be Decay Free... What is Really Happening... Discovered 3 waystones on a completed (village to village) and activated highway just North West of FM with up to 19% damage each. [22:55:00] A marker to designate a junction in a highway. The waystone has been firmly secured to the ground by Zorako. Ql: 44.1895, Dam: 19.759846. Between Freedom Market and Albia Heights just North west of FM, I found two waystones showing 19% damage, where there is a 5 tile side branch like to village waystone at Tribute. On the far side of Albia Heights about 7 tiles to the North West the end of road waystone is also showing 19% damage. I have repaired the two waystones outside of Tribute village so that the highway does not "go down". I have left the one on the NW side of Albia Heights as decayed, so a Dev can come down and inspect it. All waystones and cats eyes show Green. Respectfully submitted, Hughmongus Co-Adminstrator, The Albia Roads Map of Indy
  4. It would be nice if waystones could register heritage sites and supply routing info.
  5. We need a low decay container for storing catseyes and waystones after we make them. A large crate would work nicely. Sorry, catseyes do fit in a crate .
