  1. The size of Niflheim is 71 by 71. The perimeter is 10 and it has 1 guards hired. The settlement has 20 silver, 90 copper and 87 iron in its coffers. The monthly cost is 11 silver, 94 copper and 20 iron. The upkeep will last approximately 49 days and 34 minutes more. This settlement has acquired knowledge that increases the productivity bonus of its citizens by 1.5%. This deed is located on deliverance (25x14y) up in the mountains. It has a 700 tile farm (half sloped) and a couple buildings. Lots of iron ondeed (including utmost) and pretty much all the other veins just off deed (zinc, gold, lead, copper). Has a very good silver vein ondeed too. Not going to lie, the deed itself doesn't look very pretty, but it's practical and has lots of open space. The deed has 2 traders which can support the costs of upkeep. The deed comes with 11, 70ql ovens. A couple of 70ql forges. Random items, wemp, vegies etc.. and 10000 odd brass. Anyway, looking for offers, cheers
  2. Please make Xanadu like Pristine/Release (fresh start), but without possibility to plant Traders to avoid "The Drama". I know we need place to buy tokens/merchants/sleep powders/magic chests etc., but you can implement "Spirit Traders" who can only sell items (no draining) and who cost for example 1000 Karma to place and then 100/week to maintain. Villagers could work together to maintain Spirit Trader on their deed by completing missions. Wurm is giving possibility to be real community game, but in other hand it's giving tools to keep players just on their one person deeds without any interactions with other players / deed owners in game*. They just ordering what they need by forum and checking mailbox. What would happen if we get rid of them? Now I'm not trying to get high blacksmithing, because I know, that I can order any 90ql tool for the price of 1k bricks. If we get rid of spirit castles on such a huge server you would make place for a lot more Master Carpenters, Master WeaponSmiths, Master Tanners and for a lot local markets. Even having personal merchant on own deed and letting people to travel and visiting you to get best quality armour/tools/weapons would be great. With real regional veins (except of iron?), if west people would have to travel couple of hours to far east to get gold it would make prices of gold lumps/jewelry different depends on location. Marble and Slate veins would determinate architecture in different parts of Xanadu. If you would let us to make tools/weapons from copper, bronze, brass, tin etc. with (without) small differences of for example speed/durability/imping difficulty you could make iron regional as well. And one more thing - don't let us to transfer money from old clusters. More real money for Wurm and less huge deeds since server start. Not really popular suggestions, but I would like to see it ingame. *I know, that everyone has right to play whatever they like and I know, that I don't have to use "mailboxes", but I need to if I want to sell my items. I just would like Wurm to be more social game with more ingame interaction with other players.

  4. I have decided to sell Brookhaven i spend most of my time on pristine now and i am going to downsize on freedom and wait for the servers to be connected. It is a large deed with 3 traders that pays for itself with the trader income. Brookhaven 67x109 w/40 perimeter (3 traders on deed at 45x 41y Celebration) Note: I will consider trades for high end stuff but you need to pm me for that Starting Bid: 1g 50s Increments: 5s No reserves Buyout: 2g 25s i hour sniper protection A few SS but you really have to come look at it.. Here is a pastbin of the 3d deed map about 80-90% done http://pastebin.com/DfZndSig I don't mine much as i just buy my tools and stuff but there is iron and silver for sure that are uncovered in the little bit i have mined. There is clay/tar on deed water on two sides and i have other trader deeds on every side making it extremity secluded and those will be for sale shortly after this sells or just pm me and we can go over what they are and maybe do a package deal. 5. Problem #1 (NPC traders): Publicly accessible traders are difficult to find any more. When you do find one, it has no money and requires exact change to trade. Traders in this state won't allow a trade unless change is exact. Solution: Add a "keep the change" checkbox to the trading dialog. If I want to trade 11 iron worth of cotton for a 10 iron spindle that the trader has, I should be allowed to. Problem #2 (NPC merchants): Although their new models are great, merchants largely all look the same and it's miserable trying to find one that's well stocked, never knowing which have been abandoned. Solution: The merchant should vanish or somehow visually "close shop" when they are empty/abandoned/poorly updated/poorly stocked. Problem #3 (NPC merchants): Areas with many merchants (freedom market, etc.) or poorly located merchants waste a lot of players' time to locate what they are looking to buy. Solution: Merchants could be linked within a 20 tile radius so in places where there are dozens of them the player doesn't have spend all day locating them all and going back and forth trying to compare prices. A column could be shown in the merchant's interface identifying the name of the merchant the particular goods are on (so the seller still gets represented to the buyer). Solution2: A different spin on this is that the merchant interface becomes available to players within a certain distance of a merchant. Essentially you could ride into the center of town and launch the interface via a button on your screen, it would let you cycle through the wares of nearby merchants, buy what you want, and ride off into the sunset. Problem #4 (NPC traders): All traders in my area are inaccessible to the public. Solution: Traders should be publicly accessible. See Problem #3 Solution#2 - allow a GUI-accessible interface to become available whenever the player is within a certain distance of a trader.
  6. Ever wanted to own your own island? Hell, haven't we all? Well my friend, this is your opportunity to not only own any island, but one with all the resources you'll need; pre-packaged materials, boats, homes and crops, not to mention it is completely self-sufficient with five traders to pay for all your upkeep! So what do you get exactly? Let's break it down: Deeds, each with it's own mayor account: The Dark Island: 33x33 with 19 perimeter. Upkeep until 14th May 2013. Housed trader & Merchant. Mayor Darkebony. Upkeep per month is 3 silver, 77 copper and 40 iron. The Dark Island Docks: 43x17 with 5 perimeter. Upkeep until 5th June 2013. Mayor Darkblood. Upkeep per month is 1 silver, 46 copper and 20 iron. The Dark Island Western Shore: 61x51 with 10 perimeter. Upkeep until 15th May 2013. Housed trader. Mayor Darkdrake with knowledge path level 4. Upkeep per month is 6 silver, 93 copper and 20 iron. The Dark Island Southern Point: 29x61 with 6 perimeter. Upkeep until 23rd May 2013. Housed trader. Mayor Darkrage with knowledge path level 4. Upkeep per month is 3 silver and 65 copper. The Dark Island Northern Zone: 17x45 with 20 perimeter. Upkeep until 13th May 2013. Housed trader. Mayor Darkreaper with knowledge path level 6. Upkeep per month is 3 silver and 21 copper. The Dark Island N W Sector: 31x21 with 5 perimeter. Upkeep until 27th July 2013. Housed trader. Mayor Morrigan with knowledge path level 4. Upkeep per month is 1 silver, 30 copper and 20 iron. You may notice there is another deed, Dedri's Homestead, this is an alliance member who left Wurm last September. He is inactive, his deed is 21x21 and due to disband in August. Accounts: Most of the mayors are placeholders with knowledge 4 for getinfo. Darkblood & Darkebony do not have this knowledge power. Darkreaper is higher at Crooked level for this path. There are several discovered iron veins of varying ql (including an upmost and very good) and a top-ql gold vein I bought myself. I've also prospected silver, copper and zinc on the uncovered rock areas. The island is covered in trees (pine, willow, oak, cedar, no fruit trees) and one or two thorns. Hunting: The island is dangerously good hunting, right now there's two champ trolls running about. You can expect raging scorpions, spiders, hellhounds, bears, wolves, lions and trolls. Ships: As I haven't been able to sell them, you get these ships included (will be owned by Darkblood at handover); Caravel 'The Emperor's Wrath', oak, 68ql, pretty good lock, anchor. Caravel 'The Festering Scythe', cherry, 52.9ql, poor lock, anchor and 44 rafts. Corbita 'Evil Overlord', cedar, 31ql, poor lock, anchor. Knarr 'Carrion Eater', cherry, 70ql, very good lock, anchor and 40 rafts. Cog 'Nocturnal Harbinger', oak, 41ql, poor lock, anchor. Included materials and extras: You get everything already on the deeds, some estimates are; 10, 898 bricks 15, 119 mortar 100 logs 1, 279 slate shingles 4, 120 planks 1, 193 small nails 150 marble slabs 329 cordage ropes (trader food) 320 mooring ropes (trader food) 494 steel lumps 498 coal 4, 000 lead lumps 55 slabs 48 fence bars 820 wemp 500+ cotton 200 frying pans 100 support beams + ribbons 7 gnomes Screenies: Screenshots, and that winter texture, do not do the place justice. I highly recommend viewing the place in person. At it's longest length I think the island is some 200 tiles across. Your nearest neighbour is across at crater lakes sanctuary, only viewable in local from the docks. The full folder of screenies can be found here; http://noizeviolation.com/wurm/w/ I think that covers everything. Don't be put off by the upkeep's, the traders happily pay for those. I am selling all of this, together, for 250e. It pays for itself, so I'm happy to wait for a buyer.
  7. Hi Please can you change the examine option on items on a merchant to output the cost to the event window. E.G [19:06:25] A sturdy but lean rope used for the anchor and for mooring a ship. [19:06:25] The merchant Tools-n-stuff says this will cost 20 copper coins. or [03:02:53] A saw, good for creating and sawing planks. You will want to polish the saw with a pelt before you improve it. [03:02:53] You can barely make out the signature of its maker, '.at..rtim.'. [03:02:53] Wind of ages has been cast on it, so it will be quicker to use.
