  1. What the title says! It would be good to have small carts pulled by one donkey or one sheep (or perhaps rams only?), and be lead by the player. The advantage would be less slowdown than pulling the cart onesself. Also it would be frigging adorable! Otherwise the small cart would remain unchanged, same weight, same capacity.
  2. Just noticed this. When I go to 'place' my practice dummy, the 'place' timer starts, then, as I move my cursor about - I see no green copy image of that practice doll/dummy to place it with. Normally I get like a green copy /image of the item. Not for practice dummy , and not for small cart. Both are not giving me those green image copies to work with. Did not see anything about this posted on forums yet. Thanks your time. TeeeBOMB
  3. Issue has place at the border of the cave, when you're leaving/entering it dragging small cart. at some circumstances you can become a proud and happy owner of the "invisible" small cart. you can hear, that you're still dragging it, your speed is slowed accordingly, but you won't be able to see/iteract with it until relog. To reproduce: 1. Find a cave, start dragging a small cart 2. Enter the cave, when you'll got a message "You enter the cave" - move back backwards, i mean - don't turn, just push "S" button. At the moment when you will leave the cave - your cart gets stuck on the edge: From my experience, it will always stuck if you'r moving backwards from the cave. And this is an issue in itself, but more funny things will follow. 3. Now, physically, cart is in the cave. If you will enter a cave again, you can open your cart, you can drag it deeper into the cave, and everything will work fine. But you cannot do anything with it if you're leaving the cave. For ex., you can open cart's "inventory" being in the cave, make few steps outside the cave, and inventory will just dissapear. Similarly, you can start dragging cart being in a cave, step outside, and you will stop dragging it without having appropriate message in events. 4. Now, main part of the trick: step outside the cave and Pull your cart. Somehow it will work, but if after the pull you will try to drag the cart - it will simply... dissapear. You will hear it, you will be slowed down, but there will be no cart. "Imagine: there is no spoon" (c) Matrix
  4. So I looked at the forum to find anything about saddlebags and indeed the community has quite a bit about wanting it. So, I will not go into detail about it other than... Saddlebags would be a great addition to wurm! Seriously. Now onto the Small Carts. "But wait Enigma... There are small carts." Yep, I think it would be a nice addition to the game to have the ability to hitch one horse to the cart. it makes sense to me considering that is what people do with horses. They hitch them to stuff they would rather not pull on their own.Of course you would still have to lead it. The other thing that would be a nice addition is the ability to load a single Large Crate or two Small Crates in the Small cart. I cannot count the number of times where I needed to carry just one or two crates somewhere or needed a crate in a location where horses are unable to go. Hitching up a large cart for one crate just seems... excessive to me. In these instances I am forced to spend a large amount of time pushing or pulling it to the location. Even if the ability to hitch is not going to fly, loading into a small cart would be awesome. Well theres my 2 cents worth of Saddlebags and Small Carts!
  5. Hi! I have motion sickness - and quite a severe such. I love WURM and it is a nce game, that sometimes causes me very dizzy. Because it is first person to start with, but I can normally play for some hours a day, sometimes even more than that, if I take small breaks. So first of all: thanks for a lovely game! Suggestions: When harvesting, botinizing, foraging and so forth, we get loaded and walk slowly (which makes me dizzy). I tried using my large cart with 2 horses pulling it, but the jumping up and getting down to move it, made me dizzy. Just picking up logs using it, makes me dizzy after a few minutes - I have to ask for help. However, the small cart... Dragging it makes me too slow - I, weirdly enough, get dizzy from that. So I thought: When I was 12, I helped a farmer out with his harvest. He had one horse hitched and was leading it. He asked me to hold it, and that he might as well hook up a mitton and ask it to counterweight 3 ton sand :P. It isn't easy. So.. my suggestion is that we may hitch one horse that can be lead (we cannot ride the cart, and it cannot be lead whilst on another cart), at around 22 body strength and body control, up to a small cart which we then can lead whilst harvesting/botinizing/foraging/feeding all our animals. It would most likely help many more than just me. (And would not be a shortcut for having a cart pulled, as you need the strength and body control) Feeding troves: food on the ground is messy and, naturally, decays swifter than when in something. How about feeding troves? They've been used for absolutely ages, and let the food decay at least a little slower? Makes the animals happier, looks tidier and we don't have to scrape food from their hides Last one: Hurray for crate racks! Our deeds look so much tidier! \o/ How about racks for BSBs and FSBs as well? Or some sort of storage arrangements for them? To tidy our deeds/buildings up? Would definitely need to be bigger than the crate racks, as a full BSB isn't a small thing. I suggest a little ladder on the side as well, for the looks and to make it make more sense - same for FSBs To make the racks for FSBs, so it basically looks like the racks, but with a ladder to access (and you might as well let us build a ladder for them that is added to the crafting "recipe".) Would make sense, right? And farmers have always used different methods to squeeze stuff in, so it is not things that wouldn't make sense. Hope you'll like my suggestions, thanks for reading regardless and I pray and hope they fell in good soil and will one day be added Again, thanks for a really nice game! Best regards, GilwenAistrinas
  6. 7. I recently started playing with a friend who has been playing for awhile. I can drive the large cart with two horses but it is slower because I haven't worked up to getting a full set of gear for my horses. I think it would be a great stepping stone to allow one horse to be attached to the small cart. This would allow faster travel with less load than large cart but more than personal inventory. One would also be able to work there way into a large cart with two horses by buying one set at a time. Also it would help new players keep up with old players in adventures into the wild. Added bonus: It looks more realistic than large cart with horses without a lot of extra graphics needed. Gear and speed boosts aside speeds would be Ridden horse is faster than small cart and large cart with two horses. Small cart is faster large cart with two horses.
  8. Touchy subject but there is a fine line between incentive and frustrating road block. I hope this is a good compromise: - Free players - 20 skill - Can hitch cow to small cart - Can lead the cow and therefore the cart. Can not ride it, can not drive it, can not ride or hitch any other animals. From the rest of the thread: Allow small cart to carry a raft. Allow scorpions to be hitched to small cart. Allow cows to pull a plough to make farming a bit quicker on large fields. Please add the riding animation to cows. Shouldn't be more than a copy and paste from horses and some altering. Rather important to my plans.
  9. So just a little suggestion. not sure if its been thought of yet.. im sure it has though. Why can you put things into a bsb straight from a cart, but not put things into a cart straight from the bsb? The whole putting 8 or 9 items into my inventory, then dragging them to the cart is doing my head in. Especially when i want to take a over a hundred items at once. Its a time waster. Be fair... why not do it both ways? That is all... thankyou
