  1. I aspire to get 100 in beverages. A lofty goal, I know. But I'm looking for tips to obtain this goal. Edit: I realize now this post should have gone in Community Assistance, my bad.
  2. I am sorry if this has already been suggested, if so respond with a link to that suggestion so I may enjoy someone else's ideas on this topic. Within the event window we are commonly updated regarding success or failures of activities we engage upon. I was wondering if this notification could include skill gains. This way new people, even old people, can easily identify worthwhile activity. This would alleviate much confusion regarding skill gaining activities. - I play Wurm Unlimited, not Online. - Please read my profile info before trolling, thank you.
  3. New server established 4 March 2016. Come join us. A limited number of pre-built Rowboats are free for the taking to help with expansion on the map. Deeds are free, however upkeep is required. The Starter town is at the tip of the inner peninsula (a little north of center of the map). Expansion to more servers will occur when we get more players. Current PVE map
  4. So, about an hour ago from posting this, Iogged into my friend's server on my priest. We changed nothing in regards to skillgains or anything of the sort. I went to go butcher a nearby chicken because it was simply dead, waste not want not. Then... I gained 4.80 body strength from doing so, if this is coded rather closely to Wurm Online, you may wanna get on this and make sure it gets fixed. I suspect it MAY be the catchup of Body Strength my priest would have gotten if not for the penalties of body and mind gains from being a priest Sorry for really shoddy looking post, I'm not a forum person. Edit: This is also on Epic skill curve, if that's any help.
  5. I was pretty sure I had noticed this before, but finally was able to catch it: Logging started 2014-10-26 [21:16:57] Meditating increased by 0.109 to 47.194 [03:55:16] Meditating increased by 0.109 to 47.303 A reconnect happened at about 10:20am on 2014-10-27 Logging started 2014-10-27 [10:30:32] Meditating increased by 0.107 to 47.301 I hadn't died at all in between my last 2 meditation actions. Again, I have noticed this before with meditation skill gain and would like to see it corrected. We all know meditation is not an easy skill to raise, and this bug isn't helping.
  6. Here's a suggestion to make it easier for new players to participate in PvP (or PvE) on the Freedom Cluster: If all fighting skills would be on the Epic skill curve but crafting skills stayed like they are it would allow for fairly new players to be able to somewhat compete in PvP and thus not scare away new players from Chaos as easily. I've been trying out Chaos now for 2 months with my 1 year old characters. I'm having fun, but what becomes apparent after a while is that being competive in PvP is something that take a huge grinding effort, you need good FS (70 minimum, this is the easy part), good weapon skill, good shield skill, high body stats and prefererably some bow skills. This grind can take years and I think it scares away many potential players. On top of that you need PvP skills which are not easily trained with a bad character. There are some truly impressive accounts on chaos, lots of work has been put into them for many years. Some have been sold several times, some are owned by thier original players. I understand that changing the rules like this will to some extent make this work less worth because newer players can achive almost the same skills (not body stats though) in less time. BUT, if nothing changes in this area the Chaos server will probably see very limited growth, because it's a playground for the select few who have really old accounts, either bought or made by themselves. The veteran players would still have the upper hand in terms of crafting skills, body stats, extreme weapon skills, existing deeds with good defenses and not least PvP experience. EDIT - Please move to suggestion section, wasn't intended to post here
