So, in a few other "here is how to make more silver per Euro" investment threads I had talked about the ability in this game to make more silver, while benefiting F2P, Gold buyers, Gold Sellers, AND Rolf. Most people thought it was a con, but I can guarantee I did it from 2006 to 2010. It works, and has the benefit of keeping silver IN the economy as opposed to a money sink (currently in game premium option). (When Rolf has a few premium/silver sellers in the Game it behooves him to have more currency, when they are absent it is better to have a money sink... ultimately, the game economy can grow if the working class grows.) by starting out with 100 euro I calculated 9 different combinations of low-mid-high in game premium cost (sold by players) and low-mid-high in game silver cost (sold by players) While the price of silver has pretty well settled to 65e:100s when I was running my Premium shop the prices for silver were 75-85 euro for 100s (arguably because of the supply/demand of silver... a premium salesman can get up to 10 gold pretty fast if they put in the effort, which causes demand for silver in the economy... you can literally starve trader drainers out of house and home if you aren't careful... or if you wanted to ... the biggest economy whine fest I saw in 2010 was that traders weren't paying enough... that's when I had 10 gold in my bank accounts) Here are the numbers Premium per 2 months: low: 14 silver mid: 16 silver high:18 silver (Notice they are CHEAPER than in game... some people will even pay you a flat 20 silver, or they used to before Rolf added the mechanism in game) Silver/Euro conversion: low: 65 euro mid: 75 euro high: 85 euro (My highest sale was 90 for 1 gold, my lowest was 70... if you are in a rush, don't expect that high, ride out Gold availability in the market. the more you hold, the more people will spend for it) Assuming that you would never take any silver or euro out, and that excess silver/copper were sold here are the numbers: Those are the first 2 months. If you sell low on both premium and silver, you will be losing money, any other option will keep you in the black. Here are the numbers 12 months in: Notice that really big number at the end if you sell high-high all year round? You could be making 16k euro at the end of the year (if you cash out after the 12 month) Granted... I don't think you will find 1048 accounts in wurm that will all want to buy from you. Chances are, you will never see more than 60-100 accounts (many people will come to you to get 2-5 accounts each) in a year. my estimate was about 50-100 accounts that I supported before I quit. Keeping this in mind... you will most likely be looking at a price scheme of Mid-Mid (as no one will pay high, unless they are strapped for time, or they don't care) That is a rate of 16 silver for 2 months (20% lower than in game option) and 75 euro a month for 100 silver. Now a lot of you are thinking, wait... Rolf is increase costs 60%. Here is what month 12 looks like at 16 euro per 2 months at 65-75-85% Silver/Euro sales: Low-Low and Mid-low will start losing you money. Low-Mid keeps you running even. 2 things to notice. If at the end of the year you never pull any money out (silver or euro) Rolf will benefit to the tune of: (calculated as sum of assisted accounts) 1 silver :1 Euro: 1 Silver to 1.6 euro: Any questions?

I have played some game that are free and games that charge by the month or that charge by the item. None of the games I have played are the same as Wurm. You get to play up to lvl 20 without premium. After premium you have to find work. Thats life. In real life you have to get a job after you are old enough. Its the same here. You dont have to be a master craftsman to find work. I have played for about 2 years and I see ways to make money. I know players who pull real money out, thats a bit harder but to just earn premium is not that hard. I want to give a few examples of how you can play for free and enjoy yourself while doing it. -------------------------------- I was on my boat going to my gold mine. On the way I saw an open mine. Outside the mine was a box full of logs. Lots of logs. It also had nails. there are players looking for fences to be built. Yesterday some guy wanted to buy dirt. We all get free shovels. A week ago a pirate killed me and took my things. He sold them and was paid with paypal. Im not upset. I made a mistake. Point is you dont have to pay to play this game. If you are young and dad wont let you use his credit card. Well it is time to get a job in wurm and build your own house and be your own man. The deed Vulcan Outpost located on the south east coast of Deliverance (32x 46y on http://minersahoy.co...p (Low Res).png) is for sale. Its size is 51x29 and surrounded on all 4 sides by Palisades. The deed was planted a few weeks after Deliverance was opened. The deed is surrounded by a small desert and right at the end of the huge steppe, so its a great place for hunting. The mine has plenty of iron veins and a few silver veins, but its not expanded very much and I know there are many uncovered silver veins in the western part of the deed ("Prospected" with a priest of Magranon and the Mole Senses spell). There are also 10 forges for fast smelting of ores inside the mine. The deed also has a trader and a large magic chest. The chest has 6 damage due to 1 months inactivity, but if you make sure to open it occasionally it will last forever. It was bought 9 months ago. There are a 110 tiles farm, a 70 tiles enchanted animal pen, and a rather large area currently unused next to the 30 tile large BSB storage house. There are 5 buildings. 1 is the 10x3 storage building, 1 farm building with 3 forges, 1 6x6 house originally made to be an inn, a 5x2 smithing house (5 forges, 7 coffins and 5 bsb's) and a 5x5 house with the trader, large magic chest, and 3 beds. I was contacted earlier when i asked if I could buy more than just 10s at a time and was told yes the option should show up once I've purchased something and made sure paypal was varified and it went through, and to wait 24hr from purchase time. Hi, It would be nice to have the sum of coin value displayed somewhere in the windows (trade window between players, merchants, traders, also in inventory). Could work on that way, when someone select some coins the tooltip will show the sum value (currently it shows only the number of coins). Like it does while we select multiple items for combining, but with the value of coins appear instead of the number of them.

Hey there, It's been a while since I played Wurm (about a year) and I've decided to start a new toon with a friend on the new server. Now, my existing toon has some silver in his account - can I somehow get that silver over the the new character? I didn't play enough / remember enough about Wurm to know if thats possible. It'd be nice to have that silver on hand right away, you know?
