Here are some improvements to the newbie tools and for their first days of living in the wurm. Compass - Who is more lost than a new guy who recently joined wurm? And where is his compass after he first gets killed by a mountain lion or any other animal? Nowhere. The compass should be an non drop starter tool like other starter tools. Even an 1ql compass is better than no compass at all. I could wait 10 minutes standing still if i only had any clue where i am! Sickle - Why are the newbies hated the most? Because they cut down the trees around the starter town and never replant. Why? Not because they dont know how to use a sickle. They dont have it and its really hard to make! Iron - What do they want the most after they join the game? After they cut their first tree? Iron. The starter town, in every server, should have some kind of access to a iron vein for all. Any quality. Is it too hard for Rolf to cheat the game so much that the starter towns would have 10ql iron veins for all that wouldnt ever run out? Roads - After you leave the starter town where should you go? To that ---> direction and never come back? What about if you die there? You start over and never figure out where you was. The server should have long roads in to the wilderness and further. So your second house could be in somewhere in between.... Those are the most important things for me. Would have been when i started. I can now kill the spiders and bears but how many newer people than me can when they take their first steps in the lands of wurm?

Okay so after coming to this part of the forums, and getting side tracked by many other posts, I finally made it to my own. What I wanted to suggest would be a way to plant trees in buckets using a bucket, dirt, water and sprouts. They should be limited on how big they can get while growing in the pot. They should also be place-able in side buildings just like a normal bucket and picked up with enough body strength, but not too much. This would be nice as you could pot a bunch of trees ahead of time and be able to replant them with little to no failures versus attempts. The potting failure should be the same when planting normal sprouts on a normal dirt tile. I apologize if this has been suggested before and appreciate you taking the time to read this. I have now gotten the Sickle Of Awakening from Rolf. See here for more info. I was the first person on Celebration, so I got it. (I am Garff) it is QL 50, And adamantine. It takes VERY LITTLE DAMAGE (two prunings = less than 0.01 damage) I will sell it to the highest bidder. It also has the signature of Rolf. I'm running this auction till atleast sometime next week.
