  1. We come from ~7 years of UO from early "hardcore" ruleset to the carebear ###### that exists now. Gave a variety of MMOs a try. I regret not trying this one as I heard about it pre-minecraft and it sounds like it's amazing. I'm not trying to grind up quickly or anything, but I do want to play on a PvP server. What are the differences in the PvP servers? I was looking at this: http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php?title=Server_types but for someone that has never played the game before, I don't fully understand it. It seems like factions of some sort, but the larger server is FFA entirely? (Chaos interests me the most because of the tile size) Have you ever played Salem MMO? Is it close to that? What's the combat like? What is the sieging like? I've started watching youtube vids. Any insight would be appreciated. Not looking for handouts or anything, but may subscribe for at least a month to get going and see how it plays from there. (I like that you can pay in BTC)
  2. User cannot access forum page (says permission denied). That is even accessing web page as a guest viewer. He's created two characters, both which were playable for a short time after creation, then the game-start loading screen (with the tower) stalls on "Connecting". When wrong password is used, it does connect enough to say it's the wrong user/pwd. It seems to me he's being blocked on the Wurm side. Is there an adaptive security thing that's blocking play? He's connecting through a VPN, is that part of the issue? I'm using the same OS as he is, I can access game fine. (Had some graphical issues on my end at first but now it's fine)

  4. im looking for a deed in independence at the west -side of independence(within 20x).I are a new player but im learning fast and deed must have above 3ppl in it to have company
  5. Lemosa Docks is always open to new players, and located on the the Celebration server. Private message me on forums, then use /t Onyr when in game. We are a caring and comfortable group, willing to help new players learn the game. Cut trees - There is a large tree farm of pine and cedar. Build a house - Each new player gets a small lot to build their own house. Farm - Each house lot has a secure fenced yard behind. Raise animals - Keep animals in your yard, feed and tame them. Build a boat - Plenty of trees, and a great dock to build on. Explore - Several abandoned settlements nearby to search for treasure. Hunt - Excellent wilderness close by to find monsters worthy of a fight. You are welcome to come for a short stay, or a long time. There is plenty of room nearby to forge your own way in the wilderness, with a safe and close location to respawn in. Welcome to the softer side of Wurm. Private message me on forums. Private message me on forums. Private message me on forums. I would hate to miss a message on the forums and leave you cold and lonely with no trees to cut.
  6. I'm a new player looking for a village or just one person is fine as well to join. I don't no anything really except what I learned from the wiki and tutorial.
  7. I'll start with criticism, remember i don't want to insult anybody this is just my point of view. PROBLEMS: Despite the potential of game and the possiblities it offers, servers i've seen are like big ghost towns, Maybe i will give some examples: We have tons of houses with beds that stays empty and owner use them for hour per week - but finding a bed for rent is like win in lottery. We have maaany ports and ships built - but no organized naval transport. The devs give us possibility of using carts for transport - but there is no possibility to transport your goods from point A to B, other than pulling your cart by yourself. ( transport service is perfectly possible with game engine but still nobody offers it) Allmost all settlements have access to mine - but there is no chance you could buy iron from them. There is tons of farms but still its almost impossible to buy food anywhere. There are many skilled players who working together would create marvelous items, but since trade is rare and settlements are sooo dispersed (and sparsly inhabited) the chance you meet somone helpfull are small This situation is basically against any economic rules - its just waste of space resources and time. Despite of tons developed settlements each and every new player start as poor beggar and has to walk the same boring path as everyone else before in aim to be self-sufficient (which is imho to large extent waste of time). If you don't belong to settlement there is no way you can interact with them - this makes gameworld one big uncivlised graveyard. What is the point of creating a new settlement which does exactly the same thing as every settlement before it? The things would SOOOO much easier especially for new players if there would be some real trade. Why all the settlements are closed enclaves which doesn't provide outside world with any usefull goods or services? I don't know the answer maybe the rest of players like that situation - not me. SOLUTION So i propose an idea to solve it: "Open Economy Project" The aim of project is to create a set of basic services for all players of Desortion server. Something that will resemble real medieval economy. Our aim is not to build new things but use modified existing infrastructure to provide services. Transporting network - renting a carts and boats, for travelling from post/port A to post/port B. Mines - with all needed eqipment to start mining, well lit and eventually guarded. Charcal stations - for fueling blacksmiths Workshops and blacksmiths - for basic tool creation. Inns - with beds for rent an kitchens for hungry travellers, The locations of all of those will be known to everyone even to raiders (they also form player community). All elements of OEP will be connected by trade network and will exchange goods between them (thats the point). Every player will be able to: buy goods from OEP for fair price or get them as reward for work some of OEP venture or just take them for free if the good is not that valuable The aim of project its to provide player community with the greatest amount of goods and tools using the minimal possible amount of resources and buildings. Well i will start with mine as I think it will be the most useful for new players If anybody is interested in helping the project pm me: my ingame nick is Petre. I will report about the progress (if there will be any) in this thread.
  8. Welcome to Silgus! After living here for about 2 years, i decided that it's time to make a change. A change with new people, new stories, new friends. So if you're looking for a place to settle down .. hook me up! Where is Silgus? Silgus is very close to Esert (just a few minutes) and very close to the sea where a friendly deed with harbour is. We are part of a big alliance called Freedom and Cheese so you got a lot of deeds and nice players around. Here is a part of the map to show the deed position (The yellow deed names are part of the alliance): What does Silgus offer? Silgus is a decent large deed with a size of 45x65 wich is (almost) entirly flat. That means no terraforming work is required. We got a mine ondeed where you can find rock, iron (up to ql 90) and copper. Hopefully we will find some more ressources Very close to the sea, so travelling by ship is no problem. You will have access to the farmhouse where you can find bulk ressources like cotton, whemp or food ingredients. (Fair use of course ) 52ql meals will be cooked daily and can be found in the oven at the farm house You can farm our fields to gain skill. We don't have a spirit templar, but a guard tower ondeed. So you might find some creatures ondeed but you can always call out for help, if needed. What Silgus expects of you You are very friendly and very tolerant You are willing to use the wurmwiki If you're building a house, i will need the writ of it You're planning to play wurm for a longer time You already have played wurm for some time to know at least the basics Love playing wurm :-) Impressions For a few impressions of Silgus check out the following link with some pictures (some are older, some are newer), including a Rite of Spring event we hosted earlier this year: http://sdrv.ms/16L2ZDo Currently we are looking for like 5-6 playeres. Free Spots 0 / 6 Joining the village If you'd like to join Silgus, just post here, send me a pm or hook me up ingame name: Syleth
  9. Hello! I've stumbled on to this game a couple days ago, and have been wondering about one thing. I at the moment don't want to wander too far from the starting town since my character is really just a noob with a couple hours of playing at most. I'm basically skilling near the starting town. I just wonder if it was okay to cut down some trees that are kind of close to the town.. or is it a bad manner? I know many places prohibit me to touch anything for they are deeded, but other than that, is it okay? I'm not doing it too close to the road or anything.. Also, on Pristine where I am, is there a public mine that I can practice mining and also get my hands on some iron? I can't tell if those open holes on the rock faces are public mines or someone's, and whether I should be mining there or not... Basically I want to be sure if I'm unintentionally being destructive. Better know it now than be sorry later. Thanks in advance and excuse my extreme noobiness... I am reading up a lot on wiki right now though when I have the time, and I seem to be getting the game a little bit at a time
  10. Welcome to WurmOnline! First of all, on behalf of the developers I welcome you and hope you will enjoy our SandBox world Wurm. We are very exited to see what you will create and achieve when only your imaginations are the limits. And with that, on to the information! Stuck on Serenity? Those of you who joined early and created characters on the Serenity Server/Island. Will probably know by now that Bashur decided to play on the Desertion Server/Island. So some of you probably feel stuck on the Serenity Island and do not know how to go to Desertion. The only quick solution is to create an alternative player on the same email account, then chose to spawn at Desertion in the Epic cluster. The other way would be going by boat, which is a mighty and time consuming task for a new player and not recommended to begin with. Maps and Help? You will find maps of all the Servers/Islands at this page: http://blackburrow.s3-external-3.amazonaws.com/overmap/wurm_overmap.html Desertion map can be found at the lower left corner in the Epic Cluster section. 11. I created the account like earlier today. So I'm kind of a newbie but I learn fast. I won't ask stupid questions. (I'll look them up instead.) I don't like playing alone very much so I need a village to settle in. Anyone got one?

  13. Hi everyone, I've been playing Wurm online on the Release server for a few days and am looking for a place to settle. I've really taken to the area near Salem/Howth's forest, but when I was there, there was no one online. I'd really like to have some neighbours, so are there any players from that area who can tell me something about it, to help me make up my mind? Maevre
  14. Dear Mum, I am now putting ink to paper as I have finally found a place to live. Sorry I didn't write before but I was travelling through this land of Exodus and to be honest I was quite lost for a while. I have seen and experienced a few dangers on my travels so far, luckily there has usually been someone around to help but I have recovered from the odd bite and scratch. As I was saying before I have finally found somewhere to live and you will be pleased to know that I am quite safe here. I am now a citizen of Tranquil Woodlands, it is in the South west corner of Exodus, not a difficult journey from where I landed in Essert (You remember?), well was a bit difficult before I got my hands on a decent map. Our Mayor is Shuego, a most helpful gentleman who has much experience around these parts. He has been most helpful to me and I have tried to help as much as I can by tending the farms and helping him in the mines. I have drawn some pictures for you so you can see how beautiful my new home is, the fishing is great and I spend most of my time fishing and foraging and trying to learn new skills from Shuego. Eventually I am hoping to build a boat and sail out to the deeper waters for some even better fishing. As always I am being careful, my new life here is turning out great. I will write when I can in between my jobs and building. I have built a house of fine pine thanks to Shuego who has given me a lovely bit of land to call my own. We finished the farms and storehouses on the west side and now we are going to start on the main village part on the east so there is always lots to keep me busy around the village. Here is a drawing of the new farm area Here is a drawing of where I spend my time fishing Anyway I have to go, we have just found some more iron in the mines!! Love Bandidette
  15. Hello, My name is Bandidette and I am on the Exodus server. I am new to this game, intend to stay around for a while and am looking for a place to 'skill up' and maybe get some advice. I have found that trying to make it on my own is quite difficult. I am willing to travel anywhere on the map and do not care if your place is a sprawling Metropolis or a tiny new village, I am happy to help with whatever needs to be done in return for my skills going up. I look forward to your reply and being able to call somewhere home, Regards Bandidette
  16. Hey all, i'm looking to start a settlement with a few other new-ish players that have not found a place to settle yet. This village would be a democracy and all who help found the village would have equal share in decision making such as planning buildings and such. I'm extremely easy going so there won't be any head butting going on and I'm looking for a sense of community in this game that i've become really attached to in a short amount of time. I do not have a set spot in mind as of yet but would like to wait til i find people and we can all decide on where to settle, which is half the fun. If this sounds good to you lemme know here or PM me in game, I go by the same name and spelling. Hope to see y'all in game and thanks for reading. Regards Soggybottoms~
  17. Tanelorn Training Academy First and foremost we are drama free. If we find that people aren't a good match we try resolution first, if one can't be made then we find other housing solutions for the person causing the problem. We all pay way too much money for this game to not enjoy it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Communication You must be able to speak English well enough to understand Wurm Rules and Guidelines when explained to you. The people of Tanelorn are all fun-loving people who love to work together as a team and help out new players at the same time but when you can't understand the language it makes it very hard to communicate. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location We are conveniently (or not so conveniently) located in the far north east near Cherrywood Isle. On the Dump Map we are located at X42.5, Y8.5 and on the Darkmalice Map we are at 53-BC. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Us The Academy is still undergoing construction. Most of the digging is done but there are still two holes that need filled. If you want to dig we have a sister deed that still has quite a bit to do that you are welcome to come work on and grind that strength. As for The Academy, we are still building the houses and fences so there are some things that we need help with if you want to come help us grow. The Academy is a great place for you to come, skill, and help out with community projects. Our primary goal is to help you learn to survive this great bad world and then help you move out on your own. When you come to The Academy you do not come on a permanent basis so please be aware of that to begin with. You have three possible outcomes and two of those are only if there are: Most people will learn what they need to fight, hunt, forage and build, gain their skills to do this successfully and build up some stocks to go out and find their homes elsewhere. We ask that you NOT build in our hunting grounds as this will ruin things for other hunters in the future. There are so many other viable places to build and we love to help you scout them out. Another option is becoming a permanent resident of The Academy Either helping us lead, teach and direct our new players or keeping the land in great repair. This is only if there is an opening. You must be premium for this option. The final option is becoming a permanent resident of Tanalorn itself. Again, only if a position is available there. You must be premium for this option. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What The Academy has to offer: § Our help with tools and weapons (to the best of our abilities). § 2x3 houses with a large yard. § Bed in your house. § Horses and Cattle (to borrow while you are here). § Carts for you to borrow (while you are here). § Mine off deed of varying types and qualities. § Well on site. § Altars for all three Gods. § Coastal property. § 1 Templar Guards. § 50 Ql Guard Tower. § Rowboat for Academy students use only. § Meals are provided until you are able to cook (perm residents always). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What more The Academy will have: § Market at Tanelorn docks to sell your merchandise. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we, as a community, have to offer: § To be part of a community. § Friendship and Trust (open community). § Semi-relaxed environment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we expect from you: As Temporary Resident: § Manners and respect. § Someone who gives as much as they take. § Willingness to learn. § Desire to help out and work as a team. § Ability to follow directions and listen The Academy or Tanelorn leaders.< § Honesty (thievery will get you on KOS). § To be able be on often; if you don't log in for 2 weeks your house will be given away. Arrangements can be made in advance for longer absences if you make arrangements in advance with The Academy or Tanelorn Elders. § Willingness to help out other students. § Basic or Premium are okay. § Must speak English. § Willingness to take part in community projects. As Permanent Resident: § Manners and respect. § Willingness to learn. § Desire to help out and work as a team. § Someone who gives as much as they take. § Ability to follow directions and listen The Academy leaders. § Honesty (thievery will get you on KOS). § To be able be on daily, even if for a couple of hours. § Willingness to help out other students. § Premium player for permanent resident. § Must speak English. § Willingness to take part in community projects. § No warnings on your account.</p> § Know this game is for you, we do not want to recruit people who quit after a week. Wurm is not for the faint of heart. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Academy Rules § You are allowed to work on Academy projects; if you can't then our Academy isn't for you. § You will not grief other students or players. § You will NOT steal, cheat or anything else that will cause harm to The Academy or its students. § You will follow the guidance of the Mayor and The Academy leaders. § You will not mix low quality items with the high quality one in the bulk storage containers. § Respect other members and be polite. Grievances will be held in p.m.’s, not Freedom. § You will not kill penned animals unless given specific permission. § You will not take over someone else's job unless they have given permission (i.e. only miner mines and only the cook butchers things killed by the Templars). § If you want to practice your mining skills and you are low level you will mine in an off deed mine. § Trees must be replanted after cut. This is what The Academy will look like when done. If you are interested in joining our village please contact myself, Harvest, or Lucard in game or send a p.m. to me on the forum. Please do not send Lucard a private message as he does not check them. Please don't post here as I don't get notified and forget to check. Thank you.
  18. Hello! Another introduction thread here. I go by Navarr on Pristine nice to meetcha! I've followed Wurm Online for quite some time, always been a sandbox fan, and thought 1.0 would be a GREAT time to drag some friends with me into it. Correct I was! So far I am loving the game and my neighbors on Pristine. Looking forward to getting more involved with the community! Sandbox games I've played include EVE Online, Minecraft, Mortal Online (for a bit) and some could consider Star Wars Galaxies (pre-CU) kind of sandbox. So shout outs to anyone from there! If you see me in Local feel free to say hello!
  19. Sold

Sadly I have to sell BP but you can get all these same amenities at Tanalorn by messaging Lucard or myself. So I will leave this page up for now.To see "For Sale" info please visit: http://forum.wurmonl...on-celebration/There is an accurate account of what is still on the deed on that page.Burning Plains is a place for new players to come and live in a safe environment while they learn the game and develop their skills. The goals is not for you to live here for eternity but for you to either go out on and build your own deed or join a permanent village elsewhere. This is a safe habitat to learn the game basics like how to feed yourself, how to build your shelter, where to live, how to grow food, how to find your own ores and how to survive when you venture out on your own. What do we offer? Secure house. A bed in each house for sleep time (1 min bonus for every 24 min of sleep). Gardens to grow crops. Storage bins for your belongings. A forge in each house. Carts to borrow for moving stuff around. Cows to borrow to drive carts (will not work for free accts). Fishing pole, scythe, sickle. Knowledge. Food until you learn to make your own. Close location to Tap Dance, Kami and Amish Paradise. A row boat to borrow. A well. 5 exposed iron veins of varying quality (with guidance on how to properly mine without stripping). An on deed mailbox. A trash bin. 5 tower guards for your protection. A completely fenced in property, though creatures spawn inside periodically, which is why we have the tower guards. 4 secure stables for any animals you may want to purchase/capture to take with you later. Feel free to message me here or in game (to Harvest) or you can message my husband Lucard in game if you can't reach me.There is no rent for this service, it is completely free of charge. I may ask you, on occasion to help out around the deed but that is about it.Blessings.
  20. Sunspear Cottage is a 25-tile homestead with coastal access in the southeast of the Deliverance server. Part of a disbanded deed, it has now been renovated and is available for short-term rental. The homestead is not part of a village, so you won't be given tasks or expected to help out. On the other hand, you won't get free meals/tools/imps either! This makes it ideal for a new or returning player who wants a safe base to work from, but would prefer to play on their own rather than join a village. The homestead is fully enclosed and includes a 3x2 stone house, horse pen with 2 enchanted grass tiles, 17 flat tiles for crops, and its own well. All key resources are within easy reach, and there are tower guards and templars nearby so you don't have to fight anything you don't want to. Initial rental would be no longer than 2 weeks and is free of charge; the idea being to get settled into Wurm and train up a few skills before finding a village or moving on to found your own settlement. If you're a new or returning player and would be interested, send me a forum PM, or /tell Pragmatist or Ferryman ingame.
  21. New player tourist mode. This is a way for new players to quickly see what Wurm has to offer. They instantly jump to varius Wurm Wonders and hopefully get inspired after admiring them. They could also talk to locals in new player friendly villages and decided if a good fit for them. Limitiation: No invenotry is carried nor can they carring thing. No aggro will attack them and they can't attack anything either. Basicly they can't do any actions other then walk around and talk. They have to return to the spawn town to resume normal game play. Uncertain: I don't know if players should be able to choose thier desination or if it should be random. The frequence which they can jump is also in question. Destinations: The destinations should be Wurm Wonders picked by the community and of coarse with permission from those who created and maintain the Wonder. Another destination could be Villages that are recruiting and have proven to be helpful for new players. As far as specific game mechanics; it should be possible to make a list of exact locations which players jump to. Maybe ask the players to make some kind of greeting area at these locations. Yes, its not realistic to be teleporting around the map as some astral projection. I just feel this would a great way to show off Wurm's potential to new customers and we just need to limit them so all they can do is look and talk. Edits*** 1. If its possible limit the players range of exploration to a radius around the arrival point. This would server to limit spying. 2. An alternative might be bot controlled toon which serves as camerra. The player could view the game through the eyes of the bot as it wanders around a Wonder. Heck, the bot could even teleport between wonders. This prevents any spying issues.
  22. Inner City Orphange (Independence Server) New Player Area to "Learn2Play" Wurm Online * We are still under construction but do have a few housing units now available for people to use * Inner City Orphange is intended to help new players ease into Wurm Online by providing public workshop/forge areas, open-access tree farms, public mining and "independent living" cottages for either short or long term. We are not a "village" and there are no social activities or projects beyond what you devise for yourself -- it's intended merely to be a safe area for you to learn on your own using the Wurmpedia Wiki at http://www.wurmpedia.com/ and asking questions of the server CA Help channel. We are located east of Freedom Market and less than five minutes from the new player spawn point. FREE COTTAGES are provided for short or long term living for new players. Each cottage is a sturdy 2x2 cabin with forge, bed, bsb and basic furnishings, and a small private yard for animals or farming. You can stay for a few days while you decide on your plans or find an organized village to join, a few weeks while you work on the skills and resources needed to embark on your own remote homestead, or as long as you like if you decide you enjoy the company of other new players. All housing writs are held by the orphange and "free form building" is not permitted in the area in order to ensure it stays prisitine and accessible for as many as possible. We do have a fewer larger cottages for groups of 4 or more, so let us know if you are interested in larger scaled housing for a group of family/friends. In addition to free player housing, we offer the following resources to new & returning players: The TREE FARM is intended to assure new players will always have access to basic lumber needs, and for learning Carpentry, Fine Carpentry, Bowery and Fletching -- we ask players to NOT clearcut trees for woodcutting skill grinding, and to ONLY cut trees that are Old, Very Old, or Aged. We do accept donations of spouts or tree-planting for anyone who makes to make sure this central-area resource stays supplied for new players! The local PUBLIC MINES now have 5-8 iron veins going and can help players who want to learn Blacksmithing, Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing, Thanks muchly to Ericbomb, Aelfred, Chaplain & others for expanding the mines!! The Orphanage Workshop has a public access forge. oven and loom. We have some donated items like pelts and whetstones, and are almost finished completing a First Aid Station with some basic first aid items (rags and healing cover ingredients) and a Soup Kitchen with some basic cooking resources (fishing poles and pottery bowls, for making fish stew/gulasch). We now also have a Community Farm for residents of the orphanage who want to skill up in Farming, Animal Husbandry, Milking & Cheesemaking.. We mostly grow Pumpkins and Cotton that the residents can use for Cooking and First Aid. Cotton and leather can also be used by residents wanting to lean Tailoring. Down the road we hope to let "orphans" sell calves and piglets direct to the community to earn ingame coin for their first premium sub. We are trying to work on a coastal Shipbuilding Facility so that new players can build their first rowboat, but this is strill only in planning phases. * FINISHED! We are now set up to help new players who want to make their own rowboat or sailboat for exploring the game by water. Just started a new combat training facility where we soon will provide a variety of low-quality armors and weapons for players to practice with, plus some combat dummies to work on their fighting skill. May try later to add some "supervised" hunting outings. There is two local guard tower as well as a deed spirit templar in the area to make sure new players are relatively safe from roving mobs. (It's never 100% safe, but far safer than most wilderness areas. If the worst scenario happens and you die, its a very quick run back from the starter spawn, and people who can help you recover your corpse and belongings. There are a few rules: Due to limited supply, cottages are currently reserved for "active players" so if you only play a days per month, these are not the option for you. This may change later if we add some "shared housing" options where you share a single house with a couple of assigned roommates. If you do not log in for a week or more, your spot may be re-assigned to another new player who will use it more, and your storage cart will be moved to a secured area where you can reclaim your possessions any time. You are always welcome back again and reassigned to a new cottage. but please let us know if you expect to be gone for any extended time, so that others can use the housing! You need to first make a large cart with a lock for your secured storage. There are trees here you can cut for the lumber, and if needed we can help provide pelts, whetstones, nails and padlocks. You are required to be COURTEOUS to fellow players -- any incidents of thievery, griefing, harassment or intentionally annoying others will result in being removed from the cottage writs. Management reserves the right to define "discourteous behavior" (which includes constant complaints and criticism of the game if it makes playtime less enjoyable for your neighbors). No terraforming or building permanent fences or structures in the perimeter area. You can mine and cut trees as long as you follow reasonable respect for the area -- cut only old, very old and aged trees, and do not randomly mine the floors etc of the mine. In order to ensure everyone can enjoy the resources, you cannot sell resource-intensive "bulk resources" from the area (logs, planks, iron, stone shards) but are welcomed & encouraged to start your own business for labor-intensive finished materials such as tools, armor & weapons, carts, etc. Cottages are meant to be a PRIMARY RESIDENCE, not as a secondary "market area bases" for established characters. You need to PM me an application on the forum for one of the cottages -- just tell me a little about yourself, how you discovered Wurm, how long you have been playing, any plans you have started making etc. There is no requirement to stay for any set period -- if you find someplace else you'd rather be a few hours or days later, that's great! Just let us know if you stop using a cottage, so we can re-assign it to someone else. If you are assigned a cottage, your name will be the only one on the writ (besides mine). Cottages are locked by default to all but the writ-holder, unless you specially request yours be open to anyone. However, if you stop playing or have your hosuing revoked, we are not responsible for items left behind in cottages. For that reason we ask you to have a secured large cart and use it for longtime storage of items you want to keep if you will be gone for more than a week at a time. We will be moving abandoned carts to a cart-corral where owners can reclaim them if they lose their housing priveleges. We are not responsible for items left in cabins if you are gone more than a week without prior arrangement with management. TO APPLY. YOU NEED TO SEND ME A FORUM PM (SEE ABOVE) HOW TO FIND US: From the Howl, run up the hill all the way to the large Freedom market at the tope, turn right (EAST) and then down the hill until you see the "Orphange" building on the left, red houseing on the right. We are on the old location of Point Double Rainbow if you are using older maps: HOW CAN I HELP? If you want to help, we could use a few miners to locate and make accessible new iron veins in the local mine . Or you can donate "raw resources" that might help new players such as extra pelts, whetstones, discarded newbie tools, first aid supplies (rags and heal cover ingredients such as animal guts) etc. At some point we will have a "Soup Kitchen" built, and any chefs are welcomed to come make up a batch of meals for any hungry new players in the greater Howl/FM area We will have drop-off bins for donations or you can give them to us to pass out directly if you want to ensure the items go to those most in need. At some stage we might also organize "armed escort caravans" of wagons for new players who want veteran fighters to escort them while exploring more remote areas of the map where they could settle their own solo homesteads. We hope to find areas an hour or more from the "central zone" that are welcoming areas for new settlers (without disturbing estabkished residents), so if you have any suggestions to make, please let us know! It is also fine for established villages to send "recruiters" into the area in case they can find new players who might enjoy more being part of an organized village -- we are all about helping new players find a longterm home, and that just might be with YOUR village! CONTACT: I prefer to be contacted on the forum but you can also reach me ingame sometimes under the names Neome, Brash or Brashe. ____________________________________________________________________
