[No Bug] My wagon seems to have two different names
Pheonixluvsfire posted a topic in Server BugsI find that my wagon appears bugged. I purchased it from someone and changed the name. The new name shows on mouseover and also shows when locking and unlocking the wagon. When embarking/disembarking it shows the original name. [17:09:31] You unlock the "Welcome Wagon". [17:09:43] You leave the "CD1". [17:09:46] You lock the "Welcome Wagon" with the large padlock. [17:11:12] You ride on the "CD1" as the driver. [17:11:45] You ride on the "CD1" as a passenger. [17:11:58] You leave the "CD1". Weapon naming inconsistencies
Zenity posted a topic in Server BugsSome minor confusion regarding the naming of Mauls and Axes in respect to their respective skills. Maul types available are Small, Maul and Large Maul, skills are small maul, medium maul, and large maul. Axe types available are small, axe and huge axe, skills are small axe, large axe and huge axe. There is sometimes confusion when trying to explain that medium maul or large axe are not named consistently with skills that are associated with them, where the other skills match the items available. Swords are fine, the items match the skill names.
I always found the name pool for horses a bit limited, so I made this mod that allows to replace or add new names, and now with a new item for custom names. Features: Add new possible names into male, female and generic name pools Completely replace the built-in wurm name pools so that only the custom names will be available A custom item, Naming Tag, craftable with a wood scrap and some cloth string, allows custom names or select one of the available random names from Wurm. The maximum characters via naming tag is 20, which is achieved at 100ql. Requirements: Ago's Mod Loader Instructions: Extract the zip file to your mod folders, configure the JPWM_OffspringNames.properties file to your desire. To change/add names, open the file at "mods/JPWM_OffspringNames/names.txt". Inside you'll find 3 categories, generic, male and female. Below those add one name per line. By default the mod will disable horse names on birth, this is to allow custom names with the naming tag, however if you wish to use the initial version functionality, just change the nameMethod to 1 (or Wurm in GUI) and alternatively disable the naming tag as well. Registration page improvement
Drayka posted a topic in Suggestions & IdeasPlease put guidelines for naming characters ON the registration page where you input a name. Min and max name length; legal characters and whether or not spaces and capitals will show. Also please put here, rules for what would NOT be acceptable as a display name BEFORE we check whether the name is available. Burying these rules in terms and conditions halfway through the registration is unhelpful.
Naming Bodies Of Water For The Community Map [Closed]

Most importantly however, is to remember that the names on the map are simply the names on the map; you may call your island/mountain/bay whatever the hell you like. I do recognise that a map name tends to stick, which is why I have the ground rules. So; This thread is for naming the listed bodies of water only. Islanders should be consulted for the islands, hence we are not voting on those here. Naming features after deeds or alliances is not accepted. Arguments over names by residents for any feature will likely negate any names suggested. I will not be changing the names of things just because new people move in and want it changed. I will not consider or accept any suggestions that contain 'Oak', 'Birch', 'Pine' or any tree type. Preferably, we will avoid naming things after spiders or other unoriginal claptrap. Decisions are final. Further complaining won't do you any favours. I'm not nice, so don't make that mistake. I will take suggestions here for the next two weeks, judging winners by popularity here and by asking kchat at various occasions. If you haven't participated you have no right to complain about not having a say.
