  1. I would like to be able to reinforce mine walls and floors with support beams from a cart.
  2. By The Landing on Chaos. There's at least one cave/mine with a glitchy shaft that stretches from one location just under the surface to another location deep underground. The floor is one tile, the ceiling is one tile. It doesn't hurt to walk down the shaft, and climbing back up it should be impossible, but isn't. I guess the slope value is normal....
  3. I have not messed with the supported mine floors any but does it keep collapses from happening on that tile or do you still need the wall supports to keep the path clear?
  4. When using the level option in mines, gems will appear on the tile you are leveling, while the rock shards appear on the tile you are standing. Very minor but thought I should mention it. Will be easy for some to miss any gems they may have mined.

  6. The changes that Rolf was talking about in irc would allow people to break reinforced tiles with the chance being 1/(100 - cast power).   11. I am not sure what the deal is but I have a mine that I mined one tile down in the corner behind my forge past the water line but I can not drink from it. I have done this in the past and have had no trouble drinking from the tiles and this one is much deeper and still no luck. I have went so far down on the tile that my character is swimming and still not getting a drink/fill option on the tile.
  12. What happens: when I have a pickaxe activated and right-click on a mine wall (with or without an ore vein), the only options are Examine, Target, Track, and Emotes. What I expected to happen: there's supposed to be a Mine option. To reproduce: activate a pickaxe, go into a mine, right-click on a wall and try to mine it. But the proper options DO show up if you right-click on a ceiling or floor tile, just not a wall. Workaround: keybind the mining action and it will let you mine the wall. It's just the right-click menu that seems to be broken. ETA: the code for keybinding, for the newbs who might not know how. Open the main menu by hitting Escape and then click Console. Enter the following line in the console: bind m MINE_FORWARD Then activate your pickaxe, stand facing the wall you want to mine, and hit the m key. That should let you mine.
  13. Hi, times ago there was no skill requirement for walls or fences directly surrounding a mine entry. Walling-/ fencing-in mine entries, as soon as you closed the mine with a gate or a gate house, was even required by the rules back then - to prohibit death traps where the unsuspecting newbie could easily fall in, but never escape anymore. Obviously this has changed, now walls at the sides of mine entries require the same masonry/ carpentry skills as any other walls/ fences. So walling in mine entries isn't possible anymore quite often, because rarely there isn't at least one slope above 39 (max slope for walls/ fences according to wiki). See this (from there): Often there's need to secure a mine. Mine doors are a way to go, but they decay quickly and don't show signs of decay. Fences and gatehouses are a ways better idea, even if "kingdom enter" is planned. But this seems to be obsolete now, due to normal skill requirement in mine-side walls and fences. Since avoiding to have death traps was a requirement not this long ago, I cannot but think that this is an undesired side-effect of another change, and thus a bug. Have fun!   14. I spoke to a CM last night about my cart/horses acting strange in my mine we waited for a GM but no one showed up to look at it. The CM had thought that maybe it was something on my end but today i am at work on a different pc with a different Internet provider and i am still getting the same issue. It must also be noted that i found one of those "epic mission items?" a few days ago in this same mine. At the time it had no decay damage and i don't remember seeing it the day before so it seems like it might have spawned in the mine somehow. I found this strange because it is on an island on pristine. I am not sure if that is what has caused the mine to be bugged or not but i would like a GM to come have a look at it. I have tried to send a /support in-game but seems like no one is on right now. Here are a few screenshots of what is going on but when i turn my cart in that mine the horses don't track with the motion and even shake at times while you are turning the cart. If a GM can PM me and come look at this for me to see if we can get it fixed that would be great..thanks (the deed name is Silverwood and is on a small island on the SE corner of the map 37x 9y, Pristine)

  16. Hello ! I do not really know where to place it, so I write it here ... sorry On the last level of my mine (on deed) missing since the day of the last update 23 Iron torch lamps. They were all planted by me (ql 46-51) and had no damage. The walls are all reinforced at these places. It seems random because a few are still there. Do other users have a similar problem ? I think that it is not correct and should be checked. Greetings
  17. As the title says, I have outgrown my deed(27X21). While Phar Lap is very nice I find myself a bit constrained by what I cannot do. As such it is time to move on to bigger things. So now I am looking for a larger deed for myself to keep expanding my abilities. If you have such a place please drop me a note or PM me. I dont mind terraforming if I like the place.   21. Auctioning off a no longer needed deed on Independence. Im selling it for (what i consider) a reasonably low price as its only used as a trader deed. Its located just a 10min walk NE from Freedom Market, situated at the foot of Dragon Fang .... 36y, 36x http://wurm.dhcd.co.uk/map/indemap.png Silvertown is 21x19 - 1s per month and has 65 days in upkeep and no templar. There is no mailbox on deed, but one only a 2min walk away which has a 87 courier cast, a guard tower and tar also in close proximity. 2 single story houses on deed, one housing a trader. There is a mine just off deed, iron and tin veins throughout and also a gold vynora altar. The larger paddock has 4 enchanted grass tiles. Bidding to start at 20s Increments - 1s Reserve - hidden Buyout - 40s Auction to last 6 days unless buyout met in this time.
  22. I hitched my large cart with an adolescent and mature fat bull, then began riding the cart through a tunnel that is in line with the water table. I got off the cart to clear a cave in, then continued forward on horse to run an errand. I returned to the cart about 20 minutes later to find the bulls dead under the cart. I was really confused and butchered the corpses to confirm they hadn't starved (both had 10 and 12 meat) and were adolescent and mature, so shouldn't have died from old age. Both entrances to the tunnel are secure and tracks gave no results of anyone around to kill the bulls. It was a very short period of time and I think it has to have been a bug. Only factors I can think of was the specific tile they died on was about 1 tile below water level, can animals drown in a shallow mine like that? It was only about 20 minutes that they were left standing there.
  23. Hi, I didn't see another thread and just want to make sure this is a known bug. I have animals stuck in my mine. Bison and deer specifically. The bison can be led but are stuck as if they are in water. If I hitch them to the cart I can get them out that way, but that doesn't work with animals not strong enough to pull, haha. The deer can be tamed, but leading them presents the same problem. I'm also unable to command them to "go here" outside the cave - they just get confused and start running around manically. I've been handfeeding them but the tedium is killing me. Thanks for your time.
  24. About concrete on roof of cave... u get optionto rise (lower) roof of cave but when u rise it ... floor go up not roof down must be bug. So if that get fixed we can rise floors and roof in caves...
