Wurm shopping made easy Open So, we've been selling online for a while and now that most of the features I wanted on the website are implemented, I figured it's time to hit the forums. You would think it would have been easier the other way around -- probably. Anyway, for those who don't know us yet, we sell a lot of stuff, and we sell it cheap. You can find a non-exclusive list of what we sell here (or click the image on top). We're humans, we forget to add things to the list, so if you don't find an item you're looking for, don't be afraid to ask. Imping We do imps too. What about the price? I think it's pretty cheap. You can figure it out yourself anyway thanks to our pretty little calculator available here: http://www.southwindmarket.com/imp.php. According to our policy (see about us page), we will imp anything we sold for half the price up to the QL advertised on our website. Enchants For now we can't always accept custom enchant orders. When we do, we make the item ourselves so if it shatters we can always make a new one, and it can take some time. If you need your own item enchanted (e.g. a rare), we're not the right people for the job at the moment. Why this thread? 1. Reputation. It's hard to build it when everything is is under your control. We've been told many times that we needed a guestbook, but IMO that wouldn't be very trustworthy, I could write anything I want myself, so if you have any comments, questions, suggestions, ideas, etc. this is the place. 2. You'll have a way to find us if you forget our URL or if you're simply not online when we post in the trade chat.

My Pants Harbour is currently accepting new citizens! What is it? My Pants Harbour is currently a workplace for traders who produce and export goods. Once finished, it will also be a public market, with our own inn, trading square, temple and auction house, where events that we'll promote will take place. Who we are? Traders! Anyone who join can either make and sell his own goods or join the Morgan Hill Trading Company, where we concentrate our productions in one big stock in order to maintain a steady supply. Today, I am putting Grapemead Village (island deed at i15 on Xanadu) up for sale. It's a central location on the server with access to the west coast from Fogshore Canal, the east/northeast coast from Maes Knoll Canal and the south from Mount Fuji's Pass. I opened up a new mine on the deed close to water so you can get the maximum mining potential out of the island. It's only a few tiles in but there's already a slate vein there. There are many other places on the island that you can mine for ore as well so you need not worry. Regardless, even if you're just buying the deed for its contents and you decide to disband it afterwards, that's totally up to you. Otherwise, if you plan to keep it, it's ready to decorate and expand further. Originally, it was only a small point on the island that I expanded to make it the size that it is now (36 by 38). I would much prefer to be paid in EU so it can go directly into my PayPal account for use elsewhere but otherwise I will take silver if that's not an option for you. I've been thinking lately about putting a little time into making an Independence market map. I would obviously need the help of others who have markets with merchant in them. I feel that this could possibly help new players find nearby merchants much easier, but no guarantees. lol If you have a market you'd like to be on the map please let me know either here or by pm where it is located, and the name of the deed if it is on one. I think clarifying market places that belong to others would be acceptable as well, as they are obviously open markets meant for traffic. However, if you have individual merchants out in the wild you'd like people to know about I can add those as well, just make sure they are your own and do not belong to someone else, as that would be unfair to them if they'd like to remain mostly hidden. This map would ideally have a legend with labels to signify what merchants have what types of items or gear. If this doesn't prove to be worthwhile, then oh well I guess. lol Let me know what ya think! Edit: Let me clarify that I do know the community map has merchants and traders marked, but the map is also cluttered with a lot of other info as well, and perhaps a map marked only with merchants and traders could be helpful to newcomers. Without further ado I'd like to announce a new market for the south west of Xanadu! Now freely open to place merchants, please contact myself or Weatherwax for horse sale placements We are located in the northwest corner of the Q13 tile in Southwest Xanadu. There is a canal bordering the market so you can access by boat and we have a highway leading through the mountain to the north if you wish to visit by land. Location map here This market has been under construction for the best part of 8 months now with help from villagers of Black Forest Nemeton and villages in our local alliance. We have 106 market stalls built for every variety of merchant, with 8 of those being merchants by our horse pens (each merchant has space for 5 horses.) 100 Power mailbox for near instant mailing Each section of the main market area is split up into three colour coded sections. We have the cherry section to the east, the apple section to the west and the lemon section by the temple to the north. We have a temple with altars to the gods where we hold sermons and there is a tavern at our village, Black Forest Nemeton, where you can rent out a bed and some stable space for your horse or cart if you don't fancy the travel home right away or wish to stay for more sermons. I couldn't find anywhere in the 100k plus listings so can we merge two or more deeds in settings by doing away with one side of the outer perimeter? For instance..I would drop the West side perimeter and they would drop the East side perimeter so there would not be 10 tiles unprotected tiles between us. Reason would be mostly for creation of a Market area.. attached to the main living area. With a setting of "Merge Deed with _________ , drop West(drop down select) perimeter." Just simple and you could even charge the outer perimeter cost if you're concerned with money lost on monthly payments. Just an idea.

Rebuilding Esteron's Market in SouthEast Xanadu Esteron Market is restored once more! There has been a resurgence in activity in the Esteron region of Xanadu and a boost in the economy is needed. As such we thought it the perfect time to resurrect the decaying Esteron Market located directly East of the Esteron spawn point. It's our hope to return it to its former glory, paying homage to the original layout while adding our own touch and expanding to the market's full potential in the process. Help Your Community, Help Yourself Obviously it's a bit difficult for an alt to build a deed starting out. I will do what I can, but I'm also hoping to get some help from the Esteron community in rebuilding a Market for the area. Everyone will benefit with more commerce. What can you do specifically? Donations of building materials such as stone bricks and mortar are greatly appreciated. As well as donation of skills and/or time to plan out and build the EMarket structures. Southeastern Xanadu Market That's right, Southern Comfort is once again open for business! This time it's a public market that will soon be offering horse sales as well. We are soliciting merchants to take up residence in our open air market bordering sea and lake in Southeastern Xanadu. Southern Comfort is located at S24 with easy boat access to the lake via canal passable by ships, Knarr and smaller. There is also ready road access via the Lakeside Highway that connects to the main highway running North and South from the Esteron spawn point. Ships can be moored on the lake, on the sea or along the canal that runs through the Market. Do you live in the Southeast and are looking to sell your wares in the area? Or perhaps you have merchants elsewhere and are also looking to reach customers in this area of Xanadu? Well then, Southern Comfort is the market for you! We currently have 16 market stalls open with room to expand to twice that amount as the need arises. Stalls are available on a first come first serve basis and it's free to place your merchant. Three guard towers surround the market, ensuring a (mostly) hassle-free purchasing experience. A 93-cast mailbox is on site for your convenience. Meditate a spell or two at our peaceful Love Path tile situated beside the main building. There is plenty of clay to be found and a tar pit not far to the North along the highway. There are public altars to Fo and Magranon. A colossus of Vynora blesses the Market as she longingly looks out to sea. Look for our horse merchant to soon be selling well-bred horses! We are a HUGE deed located is SW Xanadu. We wish to create a bustling, social community that everyone can’t wait to log into. We have a little something for everyone, take some time to see what we have to offer. We are recruiting ALL types of players. Newbs, Vets, Farmers, Priests, Shipwrights, whatever. Villagers Count: 20 - Still room for more! We are almost full up on our first wave of recruiting! We have 3 City plots, and 1 Farm plot left!More plots are being terraformed for even more villagers. (Surface mining is fun!We have what appears to be a two inactive players. We give 3 weeks of unwarned inactivity before we remove from village, so there may be additional lots open next week. What We Offer Huge Lot Sizes! We have generous lot sizes and many types. Our smallest lot sizes are equal to everybody else's average! We have over 2000 tiles already terraformed for your use, and plenty of more space to create more farmland should we need to. We have some smaller farms located very close to the city center, and the larger farms are just a short walk to the town square and market. Lot sizes are allotted according to how much you want to maintain. For the Hermit: (Out of Stock!) We have plenty of backwoods, secluded lots a good walk away from the town center. Hilly, flat, mountain side or ocean side. (Its a very big deed) If you want all the advantages of a deed, without having to pay for it all yourself, come on over! There is a lot of un-terraformed, virgin land on the north half of the island waiting for you to settle and tame. Lot sizes starting at 5x5 and going to 9x9. Long term villagers can get even larger lots if they want them!For the Alts / traveler: We are located adjacent to Xanadu Trade Center, less than a 10 second walk! We are building a public hotel that you can stay at, or log your alts off at. If you want to maintain an alt in the village to keep watch on your market stalls, we can /vinvite your alt for the teleport, and give you alt permissions. (Nothing) XDPublic Workshop: We have a public workshop for all villagers to use. If you’re a farmer but need a loom? Just come and use the workshop instead of having to building your own! The workshop has a large storage room stocked by villager donations. Feel free to take a Stone Brick and leave a Stone Brick! Freedom! Most deeds dictate what you can build, full freedom to build whatever you would like on your land. Need more space or want to get a change of scenery? We can work out expanding your lot or relocating to a new one. Want to build a public building? Go ahead! Village Mine: There is a huge village mine that goes down into the mountain. LOTS of vein types, well lit as well. Easy access to the mine right across from the workshop in the village town square.Free Enchanted Grass Stables / Enchant: If you dont want to use your plot to store your hose(s), we have public stables with enchanted grass tiles that you can use. All villagers will get a free enchanted grass tile on their plot if they wish to keep their animals restricted access.Skill Resort: There is a skill resort free to access for all villagers (Normally paid for non villagers). Schedule a night at the skill resort and get access to HQ tools, rare forges, copious amounts of pans, and all other tools needed for fast efficient skilling. Free instructions, hints and tips to maximize skill gain for those who want it.All The Basics: We have all the normal deed stuff too, token (Obviously), Mailbox’s (Yes multiple), boat storage, alters, guard towers, blah blah blah.Xanadu Trade Center: We are adjacent to Xanadu Trade Center, everyone can place a merchant in a market stall for free! A large fight arena that will host duel’s, gladiator style fights against creatures and more. Xanadu Trade Center also plans to host Sermons, Impalongs, and other server wide entertainment in the future too. There is a bulk goods section that you can rent to sell and store your bulk goods. There is also a large 7000 tile farm that you can rent to quickly fill large farm orders. All villagers receive a generous discount on the rentals for the bulk storage houses and the farm.Deed Rules: Griefing will not be tolerated, if a fellow villager forgot to lock a door, that does not mean you can loot his house. Be respectful to all players Dont disappear for two months without warning. (If you want to take a short leave for a month or two we can reserve a spot for your return, but if there is no update inactive citizens will be removed to make room for others.)We want this to feel like an open bustling city, therefore to encourage long term residents there are very few rules. I've asked this before to no avail, can someone please tell me how I can develop the Linton market area? we would like to build up the market area that is just south of linton spawn point but its all under linton perimeter and we cannot make any changes or build there?
