Ever since the last update a few days back this game freezes or lags/spikes. Its frustrating being in the middle of things and the action tab locks up on finishing (whatever craft) and it just sits there for long periods of time. you cant cancel it. You cant stop anything. someone said (well maybe your out of sync or check yadda yadda /logtime ect or log out. thats not an error on my side. that an error with programing. I also see people typing in how things like the April fool, or Easter event, was a waist of time and from what I experienced, it was. In the sense that now the game is locking up constantly. When things get added to these older games people tend to forget you have to change EVERYTHING back, in order to maintain performance. I think any one would want performance over mini creatures or eggs that dont really have anything special or worth while. So in the end just expressing some frustrations, I get a little aggravated when p2p style games cannot maintain themselves. If we are paying for higher stats coins, whatever it is. there needs to be accountability and guarantee that the money is utilized in the right way I.E keeping the servers fresh and maintained, instant resolution to issues, quality ect. With the competition being faced in todays online games. I think Devs need to challenge themselves in order to main a competitive edge, and at the same time not create issues for those playing due to mis-programing, bad coding rushed changes .and the like.
Created a wagon in my inventory in a house on deed and ofcourse upon creating the unfinished wagon it drops to the ground. I was not allowed to continue building the wagon that I had just made, but once I took the unfinished wagon outside the house I could, so it was the house permissions stopping me because I wasn't allowed to modify the building, even though I was actually trying to continue an unfinished wagon I had just created and not do anything to the house structure at all.
Why hello Wurmians I am I need of your help solving this issue that I'm posting hoping to find someone who could fix it since the GM's unfortunately didn't know what's up with the thing basically the problem with my game is that caves do not render (i.e. when I enter a cave all I see is game objects inside the cave and the skybox/day-night cycle.) My other issue is that most game objects for me are not selectable and I can't highlight them like they aren't there but I can see them (for example; One of the objects that I can't interact with is a wall it doesn't appear for me to highlight so I can't right click and possibly repair any damages that the wall could have sustained, but I can clearly see the object and if I go into it acts like a barrier like how it should.) Currently the only objects I AM capable of interacting with are carts both big and small, chests, doors, living players and NPC's, Banners, and the ground. any help would be appreciated will be posting pics if its not working ill post links from photobucket.
Hey, I started playing Wurm 3-4 days ago, and I haven't have a single technical problem until today. It started after last night's update. Now, for some reason, I tend to crash every 1-2 hours or so. Several times today. I don't seem to notice any particular pattern, but I do have the error report. The stack trace seems to suggest some sort of networking issue (IOException, UnknownHostException) - though maybe this is just a result of the crash anyway. Is anybody else having this problem?
