  1. It is 00:03:40 on day of Tears in week 3 of the Raven's starfall in the year of 1124. The settlement of The Cadence Cemetery has just been founded by Loudoniadraconigena (my alt/daughter). The purchase of the land was mostly possible thanks to the generous donation of Turils. 🙏 In the following weeks, I will plan and build a place for Cadencians and Cadenciennes to bury their dead and for memorial services. There will be a temple for the four deities, a separate area for pets and animals. I am open to ideas and constructive input about this. The Dead Man's Inn is also located here, come and stop by to taste our 30 different alcoholic beverages.

  3. Hello! A new marketplace has been in progress the last few months, on the Northern end of Independence and right along the water for ease of travel. Featuring a small church for prayers, a tavern/inn to rest your weary head, a public crafting space, and a selection of merchants with different wares for your perusing, as well as many pens offering 5 speed horses and hellhorses and the occasional champion pet. Celestial Market is on the highway system for easy routing, and just along the shore of Samling Fjord at E15 on Independence. If you arrive during the night, you'll know you're there when you see all of the bright colors found around the deed ^ ,^ We do have quite a few merchant stall spaces available for anyone who would like to claim one and place a merchant (or more than one) into this beautiful marketplace. Open this spoiler to see visually on the map Decently stocked so far, but always still a work in progress I hope to add many more things into the marketplace, along with the co-owner (my best friend). Will soon have clay and peat pits available for public digging, and currently do have tar. You'll be able to purchase animals, archeology fragments, tailoring goods, tools, weapons, armors and clothing, etc, as well as beverages and liquid foods from the bartender inside the Tipsy Troll Tavern.   4. Due to real life getting in the way I'm having to step away from wurm so I'm letting my inn deed go. It's a project some of you know I had lots of plans for, the inn has even been visited by a demi-god. The deed is "The Three Legged Troll", located on the highway (i helped build) in O20. The building itself is a large 96 carp plan, has an 11x3 workroom in the back, plus the inn bar area at the front. Upstairs are 2 communal rooms, plus 2 single rooms, also on the 1st floor is a private room with access from the workroom via a ladder. The next floor has 3 private rooms, all rooms have beds, some other furniture bits but more furnishings are needed. There is a merchant (inn keeper downstairs), plus larder and chests to leave stuff out for people passing. I usually leave food, cotton and some basic tools. Outside at the back there are a few private pens, there is a public craft hall at the side. Out front is a highway that runs through the deed, a viewing area with mailbox and token. Under that are enchanted grass public pens and fields. There is an offshoot for a wagoner that I'll be moving to another deed, but the wagoner container will stay. The price for the deed is minus the merchant, if you would like the innkeeper merchant as well, just say so in the bid and that will be 7s on the price. There are 2 large carts out the back, one belongs to Wulfmaer. Oh and there is a 91QL rare loom inside the workroom along with tons of random stuff and building materials. There is also a small mine behind the inn with iron and sandstone veins. I haven't mined much more than a small tunnel yet, it has a nice ramp down to it mind. Outdoor Biergarten Shore & Highway Access Fresh Fish Daily, Affinity Foods, Beverages, & More! Thanks to a brand-new partnership with the genius behind Weird Wonders, The Fox and Hellhound will soon be a reality! We hope that travellers from all over Xanadu will come to our Grand Opening, currently slated for late November. Each of our 4 sq. tile rooms will be furnished with single or double canopy beds, a large chest, wardrobe, alchemist's cupboard, as well as miscellaneous furniture, decorations, etc. We will be updating this post from time to time with photos, news, and anything else that might be of interest to the community. We welcome any feedback, ideas, suggestions, or other comments, so please don't hold back! Current Status The site has been cleared. Initial design plans for the site have been completed and approved, and we are preparing the materials and resources that will be needed for a project of this size. The smaller 1x3 room at the bottom of the image is currently planned for staff use, leaving 8 rooms per floor that will be available to rent, 4 singles and 4 doubles.   6. The Unlucky Burglar is a public Inn located inside the Village of Port Alora, which can be found at T-13 in Celebration. It has public access and use available to all. Ammenities: - 3 Common Rooms, 3 Standard Rooms, 1 Business Suite and 1 Royal Suite. - Storage provided in each room. - A common dining area with tables and a nice bar to enjoy. - Public stables behind the Inn. (Animal Leading Permissions Enabled). - 99 cast, runed mailbox available on deed. Rooms are provided for free. Advance reservation can be requested for a locked room. Each room can be individually locked and amenities provided to accommodate guests. Building permissions have been set to allow guests to make full use of the facilities, including storage. The hotel is nearly done. It just need some cosmetics, but its fully functional. The Inn is conveniently located steps away from the local steppe hunting grounds and of a major highway. Docks are also available for those arriving by ship. The area is a common hunting grounds area and it is my hope people will visit to hone their skills with the convenience of a private place to rest and recover their sleep bonus.   7. Inn Keeper NPC This NPC provides some 24/7 services which would be difficult or impossible to provide currently. Sold by Traders like personal merchants. Dispense Items The Inn Keeper can dispense items to a player at a set rate, allowing the price to be set low, or even free, without worry about a single player taking the entire stock. Item Type: The inn keeper sorts items by type (meals, casseroles, healing covers, cotton, etc.) and dispenses randomly from its stock of that type. Price: Per Item. Quantity: The number of items that can be taken per period per player, defaults to 1. Frequency: How often the quantity of items can be taken per player. Minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 1 day. Stable Your Mount The innkeeper can safely stable your mount until you need it again for whatever price the Inn Keeper’s owner sets. While riding your mount, wagon or cart you go up to the Inn Keeper and choose “Stable my Mount” and you and any passengers are dismounted as the mount is placed in limbo. There after only that Inn Keeper has the option of “Return my Mount”. Only one mount per player can be stabled. To prevent mounts from being lost forever if the Inn Keeper is removed while the owner is away, the data should be stored on the player. If the Inn Keeper is removed, the mount simply reappears beside the player when next they log in. Rumors The Inn Keeper can remember and recite rumors. The Inn Keeper has a stock of "universal rumors" that relate game mechanics, lore, jokes or fun things from the staff. Option: "Let me tell you a rumor." The Inn Keeper will remember one rumor per player, telling them a second rumor will make them forget the last one you told them. Option: "Tell me a rumor." The Inn Keeper will recite a random rumor that it knows.
  8. My suggestion is that there should be innkeepers and bartenders in inns and pubs, to make the world more alive. Merchants right now are too expensive to be used as dwellers of the land, to achieve a more lively feel in pubs, inns, towns, etc. I think that there should be 3-4 types of them, they could be cheaper than merchants and that they could be packed like merchants, but only with cheap items, and they could only take 5-10 items of a kind (they could take several types). They could sell items like wine, meals, cakes, water, cutlery and so on. I know that this could be used to preserve edibles, but they could be made, so the items in them take damage, only slowly. With this addition visiting pubs and inns would be good, beacuse you could buy items and not just sleep. This way these places could be more interesting.
