What are the chances of having two horses, different ages, different parents, same color, opposite sex, with same name? Whatever the odds are it happend to me...have one Male Flashraid(born some time ago) and one Female Flashraid(born within the last 24 hours). This has crossed the line. First, the update that broke fences was released. Animals everywhere, lost, stolen, killed. Animals people spent huge amounts of time breeding, caring for, and/or collecting. Animals people bought with money they sunk RL money into. Animals people NEED. Sure there's people with 60 horses in 2x1 pens, but there's people who just bought 2 horses for use with carts and riding, that are now GONE. Okay, so, it was a mistake. A glitch. It was fixed. ... It happened...AGAIN. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Now animals are out again, getting stolen, getting killed, MORE LOSS. And what are we pretty much told? 'Sorry. Have fun chasing down your animals!' No. NO. I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS. COMPENSATION IS DUE FOR OUR LOSSES SUFFERED AT THE HANDS OF PEOPLE WHO CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TEST UPDATES BEFORE THEY'RE RELEASED. IT'S KIND OF A HUGE PROBLEM WHEN ANIMALS CAN WALK THROUGH FENCES. DON'T YOU THINK THEY MIGHT HAVE NOTICED THAT? I appreciate Wurm and the great fun it's makers have given us, but it is not right to abuse your Citizens and PAYING CUSTOMERS like this! SOME WAY, SOMEHOW, PAY US BACK FOR THESE GRIEVOUS SCREW UPS.

I have lots of horses with various traits for sale. All of them have at least Fleet and Lightning, up to 5 speeds. Also selling pigs, breeding pairs available. They normally have lightning, tough and malformed hind legs. Delivery possible depending on the distance and animal kind for a few C or waste food/meals (one can never have enough pigslobber). This data is no longer relevant or realistic as a patch was applied to fix the problem. For the lazy amongst us, here's the data up front : (i've done an extra test not documented below, this is with the single shoe, interestingly giving results as if there was no shoe) Hello wurmians, I have just spent the last few hours collecting data on one particular horse...here she is! Here are the speeds she managed with no equipment : 15.11 15.82 16.58 17.26 18.02 18.74 19.44 20.17 21.62 (I now believe i'm missing one speed range here) These speeds were random, and changed as they pleased, no amount of moving, slapping, kicking or biting would make the horse change to a desired speed. So we can immediately see here that the fleeter movement trait seems to toggle on and off, and at varying strengths. How often it toggles also seems completely random. (the RNG is everywhere AH!) I put on a set of horse shoes to see what would happen, the shoes are 90.10QL and one has 90WoA and another 100WoA (yes just two shoes for now). I will take time here to note that the horse was fed, groomed, tamed and i rode it downhill for all tests (to ensure maximum speed at all times). I was also carrying nothing, the horse was not injured at any time, and i carried out my monitoring over 150 tile lengths, several runs for each configuration. Here is what I documented : 19.45 20.17 21.60 22.32 23.03 23.75 24.47 25.19 25.93 26.62 According to the wiki math : Those two shoes should give a bonus of 3.00km/hr but as the data shows, we are receiving a bonus closer to 5km/hr Confused, and suspecting effective quality, i decided to get a set of shoes that should give a slightly lower bonus than the 90ql ones. This set was 4x shoes at 50ql with 50/50/70/70 woa. Using our wiki math this would suggest a speed bonus of 2.5km/hr. Here is what i found : 19.45 20.17 21.60 22.32 23.03 23.75 24.47 25.19 25.93 26.62 Yep...absolutely identical to my 90ql shoes. As a final test I let the shoes wear down to 0.20 dmg (the 90ql ones) - this should reduce the effective QL below 90, reducing the bonus by 0.5km/hr....theoretically. Practically however this did not happen, and the shoes continued to perform at a +5km/hr bonus. Something is either wrong with horse shoes, or our wiki math is off. Due to sub par shoes behaving the same as nice ones, i'm going to wager we have a bug here. Can anyone further corroborate or disqualify my findings?- 10 replies

I don't know if this is the right forum for this even, but I figured I would at least put it out there somewhere. After the recent update I have logged in to see that I had lost every last one of my horses. I found them in someone's pen, not too far from me. As soon as I asked them about it they logged off. I believe they broke in, seeing one of my walls was destroyed. I checked the night before, it was at less than 50 damage. This is the second time in a month this has happened to me. I want to know if there is anything that can be done about this besides get a deed. I cant afford one. The name of the person is Janedoh / Dizzylexia, I am unsure if they are the same person, but I'm willing to put their name on here in case they're even willing to defend themselves. Here is a screenshot, uploaded by request. All of the horses that I can see in this pen are mine, but here are three of them:

so i was off on a trip to collect clay with my large cart, and this very helpful guy gives me a horse he was leading: Mature fat Tearrun. he ran off to a meditation tile (i assume) while i dug and came back with and gave me a Mature fat Silverhop (mother: Aged fat Starkyoana). I'm posting here to make sure these horses arent lost/stolen. we're around 16x36y

Hey all! A few hours ago when I came online to do a bit of farming, I noticed that all of the horses in the village's town hall (enclosed and locked, the people in the village can access it but only two come online nowadays, Slops and Desuoneone) we no longer there... I checked the immediate area for them, checked tracks and only found guard tower ones, so I'm assuming they've been stolen somehow. The horses names are: Huntingpearl (aged, being taken care of by me, Turnips) Notchwest (aged, being taken care of by Mikesandy) Southcopper (aged, branded to Brolympus) Eckerbrisk (adolescent/young, mother is Huntingpearl, father is Notchwest) Coppersilver (adolescent/young, mother is Southcopper, father is Notchwest) They're all normal white horses. I believe Desuoneone might have them, but I can't stay online all day/night in case he comes online, and I don't think he's been online for the past couple of days...
