Hi Everyone, On Freedom servers, without Libila priests, is there any use for the Path of Insanity path bonus Clean Wounds? I read a mention on the forums of animals that can spread disease but wasn't sure if this really happens or how common it is.

Ok so I haven't really thought this through so there's probably an obvious flaw with the suggestion, in which case I welcome and anticipate the immediate shooting down. But until then... I think that karma and missions should be introduced hand-in-hand to the freedom servers. This is how I would work it: Good quality missions (first step! I know epic has problems with this) get introduced which anyone can attempt. Preferably several different ones at the same time so people who want to work harder can complete a few every mission period or whatever. Karma is awarded for completing a mission. I think this is already the case on epic? Karma can then be used for the effects listed in the wiki (lighting up lamps in an area, teleporting corpse, and town portal) but also, if you really save up..... the christmas gifts! And here I mean for large amounts of karma (deliberately not suggesting an amount here) you can get the gnome, or the fireworks, or some other aesthetic gift I have forgotten. and for LOTS of karma, you can get a spyglass or other gift that they really should have made craftable or money-sink a long time ago. I am aware that doing this would devalue existing christmas gift items in the player market but to be honest, I don't think that matters because they were gifts not dividends for investing in the game. And especially with the spyglass, this is something that is crazy to have the mechanic in the game for and make it such a rare thing to have. Perhaps think of it as christmas gifts being a preview of a future feature, and you got to use it for x years before newer people did. I'd also like to point out I'm not suggesting EVERY christmas gift become available (here's looking at you, evil twig) In anticipation of the inevitable comment "if you want missions, go to epic" - I don't think you should have to have a certain playstyle to get new features. Epic still has it's "epicness" draw in the form of the valrei board, mobs, and terraforming events (at least, it should do). so... thoughts? *braces*

Hey, you! Are you new to this fabulous game we call Wurm? If so, are you sick and tired of living in your 1x1 shack in the middle of the frontier? Can't stand the fact that you keep having to rebuild that one wall of your house because the trolls break into it every day? Want to live in a place where your food doesn't keep killing you? Or maybe you're an experienced player and you're sick and tired of living on your own in that 25x25 deed with your collection of multicolored crocodiles? Well, we have good news! Westbrook needs YOU for cheap labour to become respected members of our society! Westbrook is a small city-state ruled by a dictator village in Celebration (10x, 20y) on a wonderful island full of resources, including both iron and silver veins, plus some tin and possibly other veins in our troll country cower-in-fear "frontier vacation" cottage. We have quite a few boats (mostly rowboats) and horses that you can use to escape the iron fisht of El Presidente or go hunting. Our small collective is very friendly and will help you along the way, whether it be with armor, food, weaponry, escape, or to help build your house, whatever you need. We also have very friendly neighbors as well that can help you, too! We cannot supply you with food, water, shelter, and other essentials. The deed is still under a degree of construction at the moment, but we'll have it up and running away in no time! We don't have any prerequisites (except loving bison) for joining, so if you're green-as-grass or have been playing since Gold 1, we'll accept you so long as you sign over your soul. We can also pick you up from anywhere. Living in the upper Independence coast? In the starting cities in all the servers? Maybe you live in troll country in some backwards corner of Freedom? We will crash at your place until El Presidente thinks we're dead pick you up! At the moment, we are accepting only four new slaves recruits, but that number might increase at some point in the future! Just a dumb idea from the head of a madman.... Introduction of a new server with pvp enabled which will be entirely natural as a giant hunting reserve.... Basically you can sail onto it and bring your gear with you and craft general basic survival items (make healing items from botanized items only, campfires for cooking etc...) You cannot build structures, place deeds or terraform... As per the PVP suggestions... PVP without kingdoms (basically everything is a giant free for all...) although allowing the teaming up of players (so they dont kille ach other in combat... good one for groups of lower skill players to gang together and have some fun hunting), No looting player corpses for personal gains.. It would be nice to have a server where newer players could experience the world of *PROPER* hunting i.e. knowing that your neighbour has not completely farmed out an area, and also allowing them to PVP without having to fear the trauma of losing equipment which enables them to be there.

Explorer's Landing is a new village, settled on an island in the Celebration server. It is now being run by only one person, me, but I'm looking for other players who would like to join me on my goal to create a beautiful village with a "decent" income. I am, and always will be, accepting players from any skill level. Even if you just started playing the game, I'd be glad to teach you the do's and dont's of this game. We are currently located on the Celebration server, on the island around 6x, 31y. Our main goal for the moment is to generate a small income and slowly expand the village. Current facilities are, but not limited to: - One spirit guard - Enough space, both on- and off-deed. - A mine, with currently 1 iron vein and more to locate, less than a minute sail of our island. - Some livestock, containing bulls and cows. - A small tree farm. - A great location where a lot sailers cross. Welcome to Buckeye Recruitment page. Buckeye is a collection of villages to the south of Independence with the main area around 44x 57y on the Community Map. We are a large very friendly team that work closely together. We have lots of facilities and skills and specialise in bringing in noobs to the game to train them up.We use TeamSpeak most of the time to chat to each other and there is approximately 14 of us across Buckeye deeds. We offer noobs a house upon arrival, high quality food and a few free tools to get started. Upone a noob going prem for the first time we also offer a couple of free enchants to get you started. We have collection of community tools for everyones needs. We have a great location with many resources at our finger tips. Despite being noob friendly that doesn't mean we won't take on experiences players either, in fact we have a few that have joined Buckeye in the last 12 months. The only requirements for joinging Buckeye is that you can type/read fulent english (speak and understand for TeamSpeak), That you get on well as part of our team and can follow directions from the Buckeye Leaders (Mayors). We also hold loads of in-village events such as Meat Hunts, Scavenger Hunts and other such random games for fun. We also have large projects that happen within Buckeye that we all participate such as the current big project 'Buckeye Canal' This project is building a canal to link from Bearshark Bay and Elysian Bay cutting down a 30 to 40 minute round trip around Shaffins peak down to a 3 minutes canal journey. This canal is part river part mine and goes through 3 Buckeye Deeds. You can see pictures of this canal below. How much do people usually buy/sell sprouts in bulk? I'd like to know the prices for all tree types and bushes (in batches of 100) and what the minimum quality is that people expect. This is for the Freedom Isles people only. Also if possible I'd like to know how much do flowers go for, if at all? Thanks in advance.
