I was thinking yesterday and had forgotten to write this down- What if there was a new spell that worked to heat up items, like how their put in the forge It could be only for magranon, or just for all the religions, and could be a starter spell (like goat shape, opulence, the shield spells, etc) at around 30-35 faith and 20 favor The power of the spell could determine how hot the item would get- say a 1 power cast would just get it very warm, while a 100 cast would keep it glowing hot for several minutes Just an idea as i know when i'm in the mine, its a pain to go light the forge and heat up my meals for nutrition

  9. They don't really contribute anything and you need to cut them down and replant to get a new good tree. I suggest the Fo spell Wild Growth gives them life again. Something like [00:00:00] Trees in the area are revigorated!
  10. Every now and then the global spell of Magranon gets cast: "Ritual of the Sun". A spell that repairs all walls and houses in the domain of Magranon. And many people also have a dominant Vyn/Fo/Mag domain at their deed for spellcasting. But I always find it rather hard to tell where such a domain ends and where the next begins. You can either map it somewhat or just run around, but I thought it might be easier and a bit cooler if we could ask the gods themselves, to reveal the boundaries of their domain on the Wurm world. How would this go? Well, you activate your statuette and right click the altar of the god you are follower/priest of and cast a low favor/low faith spell called "Reveal Domain". Then, on the borders of that particular altar-domain, markers would pop up like the ones you get when planning a deed, but other graphics offcourse, something a bit more devine in nature. Perhaps glowing orbs (green for Fo, white for Vyn, red for Mag) that last around 30sec - 1min and can be seen from far away, or at least far enough to cover a theoretical radius of a 99ql altar. (but the graphics department, or other wurmers can probably come up with cooler ideas XD) That way one could see very clearly and very easy if the domain reaches certain walls or houses in the distance, or if the vyn domain covers your entire deed. PS: to prevent people from spamming the glowing orbs/markers everywhere, you could put a cooldown on it, maybe once every 6 or 12 hours

  15. A spell which, when cast on a tree inflicts damage to mobs/enemies on any tile directly adjacent to the tree or on the tree tile (5 tiles including the tree itself). Has a range of 5 tiles, cast time of 10 seconds, cooldown of 2 seconds. Difficulty of 50, requires 70 faith to learn. The damage done is a bruise and depends on the age of the tree and power of the cast (saplings - none to very light, mature - none to light, old - very light to medium, very old - light to bad, overaged - medium to severe). Optional Extra : Allow casting on thorn bushes which inflict multiple very light - light holes (1,2,3,4,5 for saplings, mature, old, very old, overaged respectively) Optional Extra 2 : Allow casting on oleander bushes which randomly poisons several existing holes/cuts (0,0,1,1,2 for saplings, mature, old, very old, overaged respectively)

  17. "Enchants shattering was tweaked and generalized. Some enchants now have a lot less chance of shatters while failing now always has a very small risk of shattering." I'm not sure why devs decided to change up enchanting/shatters. It wasn't broken. The motivation for most priests skilling up has been to NOT shatter things. That's how skilling should work. Did one of Bashurs new priests shatter an item or something? What this does is as follows. Players buys, or gets a new shiney. New shiney is meaningful to player. Player won't risk the enchant and rightly so. Unenchanted shiney vs old enchanted shiney = larger gap between older and newer player. Prices for tools and weapons with good enchants goes way up. Speaking of, fellow priests.. what should the price point be for enchants now? Players who already have enchanted armour YAY. Players without.. why risk it? Locksmithing becomes more important than the priestly skills? I was understanding when you nerfed archery and lockpicking. I understood the nerf of POL and enchanted grass. I was even cool and silent about the price increase. I haven't used these forums before to complain (that I know about) but for gods sake... Change enchanting/shattering to the way it was before! Reward hard work.

  24. Hello. I love the game but I find the religious aspect to be a little underplayed. If w elive in a society with many gods why is there not a pantheon to worship instead of just being a follower of one? Maybe even sub-deities would be a good idea, or a kind of hero worship. I feel that priests should be the only ones who really have to choose a particular god to follow. I think that praying to the gods should give different bonuses instead. My favourite religion model in a game was the one in an old sandbox mmo called Roma Victor. Given that it was lacking in many subjects of the game, religion is something i liked the most. You could pray to the gods, and the word was that it might do something, but the reality of it was almost purely based on the players and how they viewed it. It created a whole religious culture in the games that included sacrifices and justifications for other actions. I was reminded when I first saw in my event box that "I feel the presence of ____" of sacred groves. I wish I could see more religious significance in these areas. Unfortunately with the current build of religion in the game, I don't see a lot of ways to achieve this, which is partly why I would love to see what you all have to say! EDIT: Also I'm not sure if there are religious centers besides the white/black light... but there should be one for each god, no?
