  2. Hello Wurmians, I read of many people talking about wanting a PvP server that has 1x Skill timers and 1x Action timers, so I went a head and created one! The map is a 4k x 4k custom map I created and called Wildlands, it has spawns for 4 kingdoms : JK, MR, HotS, and Freedom. The server has officially been up since 11/7 and will be up indefinitely. Currently I want to keep the server pretty vanilla, however I have installed the following mods : - Bounties Mod ( Get money for killing creatures for your deed cost and upkeep. ) - Spell Mod ( No Priest Restrictions, You still are restricted to cast spells from only the god you choose to follow. ) - Announcer Mod ( So you can see when people login. ) - Dig to Ground Mod ( Makes digging a little easier on everyone. ) - Working on getting ServerPacks Mod installation completed soon for ingame map.   3. I recently created a really nice map I want to use for a PvP server. I have it running fine, but now that I am trying to setup the initial towns for each kingdom I'm having issues. What is the recommended way of setting a settlement token as a "permanent town" for each kingdom? I have tried using deed stake, clicking make permanent, and finishing, but I get an error saying I do not have the silver required. I have spawned a settlement form and created a town, but it does not work correctly and I cannot set kingdom. The server is setup as a creative server with PvP enabled, but not Epic server settings. What is the recommended way to setup starter towns for each kingdom, as I cannot seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance!
  4. Hello, I downloaded a custom map and ran it on my offline server after cleaning the db as instructed on this forum. Everything seems fine except the chance to forage or botanize is almost non-existent. As an experiment I cleaned the db on the standard adventure map and I was still able to forage and botanize much more successfully. Is there a way to set the foraging and botanizing rates on a custom map or does it have to be built in during map creation? Thanks! Matt

  6. The map I made with map generator crashes when I click start online. The crash is that it just closes the program quickly; not a "not responding" etc. It connects to stream in offline mode though? I want to play a server with my close friends. I also have a few small questions. 1. The map seems to work in game, but it is in winter. Can I change it to summer? 2. I spawn in my bay. Can I change that? Last time I tried I spawned in ocean haha. I am horrid with numbers. 3. The game said I was in West Lake Area when it dropped me in the bay. As soon as I left the bay it said I left the area. What is this area? Lol. 4. Also do the altars generate automatically on my server? I see them but I didn't put them down haha. the server is based off a copy of the creative map type.

My desire is to make this the most Ultima like world I can, but bear in mind that this lore is different from that represented in Ultima IX: Ascension (which itself was inconsistent with Ultima lore). Updates: 1 Feb 2016: I've settled on a map size of 16384, which as I've discovered is HUGE! It biomes still need some work and I will be rebuilding the server. 2 Feb 2016: The server will be coming down 4 Feb at 6am (UTC) for a few days. I'll be using this time to rebuild the server files. Changes will include: Variations to forests (not just Birch as the default tree type) Some additional biomes placed for campaign reasons, including some leading into some epic in-game quests. Attempt to raise dirt from 40 to around 80 to allow for greater terraforming. If all goes well, I hope to have the servers up some time before the weekend, but I can make no promises. In the meantime, feel free to scout the countryside. 4 Feb 2016: The server has come down for rework. No ETA. I'm aiming for the weekend 7 Feb 2016: I've hit a snag. Mycelium is not being imported by the map generation tool. I need to get this sorted. 8 Feb 2016: The server in now Beta 1. The author of the map generator found a solution to my Mycelium problem. Unfortunately, it means regenerating the map. Original Post: It's still very much work in progress, but here's a sneak preview of a map I plan to produce as 32768x32768. I worst comes to worst, I guess it could be done as a 16384 map, if I can't get a server that will run the 32k version. It's still rough around the edges (literally). The northern and eastern coastlines need to be cleaned up and I need to put in some logical constructs, such as drainage and natural river valleys. For the most part however the main features are in place.

  9. New server established 4 March 2016. Come join us. A limited number of pre-built Rowboats are free for the taking to help with expansion on the map. Deeds are free, however upkeep is required. The Starter town is at the tip of the inner peninsula (a little north of center of the map). Expansion to more servers will occur when we get more players. Current PVE map

  12. Was hoping there might be someone out there who knows it well enough to consider this a small task. I made a paint version of a map i would really love to have created. If someone knows how to do it, id be villing to give them a copy of their choice between these (Xcom+2 DLC,Sid Meiers Civ 5, Landmark, The Line, Life is Feudal) games. Im not asking for a hand drawn biome system, just the landmasses. All i care about the biomes are that they are all present. Same with all resources, all ores, animals, tree types should be available. Some of the custom maps ive seen have had 2 clay spots, a swamp here and there, etc. Making it quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for a server map with many settlements, cant really get to far without clay or the like. Link to the fab paint map i just used 7 hours designing (*cough* 2 and a half min) at the bottoom and that should be used as a template. The mountains and bodies of water inland (swamp,sand, etc) are all just there for show. I want a few rivers running in and some water inland aswell, but they dont have to be in the same positions. I dont wanna miss out on anything the default maps have to offer, or gimp the game by not having copper f.ex. Small cap here: -2 main landmasses. Big enough to support many large settlements. -some islands. -All ore and resources available. -All biomes. (all standard biomes) -All treetypes, spread. Not just in one spot. -Somewhat wide river between landmasses, with a large body in middle. -God altars? If possible.
