  1. War machines are very slow to drag anywhere. The ship transporter can even have a heavy caravel loaded. We need a war machine transporter. At least let battering rams be loaded onto an empty wagon (or an oversized one )

Decided to test War Permissions on Serenity - Epic Cluster, I did this by catapulting building of other deed until my deed finally had over 50 reputation.... Then.... the Victim Deed had just had enough bullying and declared War. Now I mind you Kriswald was the one doing the catapulting but it said Trundle was the despicable one.... betraying kriswald as he declared war...(with a trip to token) I did not seem to be able to declare war by clicking on the walls of the deed (like i expected and thought it had been announced... nor from clicking on the mayor(kriswald) or anything in the menus).( i think that msg should be changed ) anywho.... this was one of the most epic battles in all of serenity history.... KrisWald catapulted throughout the entire night... they were so determined that in the morning they renamed themselves from something long and unmemorable... to "Camp Focus" ..... Trundle finally gave in and had had enough...He pleaded for a Truce. (was quite unsure how to get the option to Truce) Finally Kriswald managed to break to the token and see the option to Offer peace... clicked.... nothing.... hmmmm.... Trundle then went to Kriswald's being dragged beaten behind the wagon all the way there.... and again clicked offer peace at token and again... nothing happened... no message in events or anything else... I assume this part was because of the name change. Shortly After, the the chaos of the war made the world unstable, there was great shaking as volcanoes erupted and tides rose and the server shut down unable to sustain itself. Upon restarting Trundle and Kriswald tried to make amends again to no Avail. Put in Ticket. Waited all day, gave up, disbanded deed instead. Things that went wrong: 1. Once at War Catapulting on Deed Building still gave rep hits and turned KrisWald hunted (Even though trundles deed declared the War (not that this should matter)) The building being catapulted was owned by someone who converted to MR.... however it was still 100% on deed and even if they are MR now (was jk when leaving), it is still an enemy building... but I would think being on enemy deed would trump all of that. 2. Once at War, ONLY trundle received the enemy debuff.... KrisWald was unaffected by it. I tried having Kriswald move around the deeds, had trundle leave and enter local even relogged... even after server restart only trundle was affected by the enemy debuff of suffering skillgains.... I was wondering if KrisWald was just so immensely powerful that trundle was unable to cause a problem? Perhaps Trundle's FS needs to be higher to make KrisWald Shake in his boots? I dunno if this was intended but it felt like a bug of some sort. 3. War was unable to be stopped once Started (probably because of name change but maybe something else? Ways to reproduce.... Make 2 deeds... put them at war.... change name of one.. try to offer peace.... I cant test this as it requires spending quite a bit of silver. I'm pretty sure you would get the same results. Most people don't war... or know how to war.... or think it is impossible to war... So I assume its an archaic system that just needs a little TLC here and there. If i think of more info ill try to update. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I currently have some problem trying to use a catapult to destroy fences. It's the 1st time it happens to me. Tool used: Small catapult Ammunition used: rock shards of 80kg, around 15QL Target: Crude wooden fence The catapult is approximatively 10 tiles and a half away from the Crude Wooden Fence. The crude wooden fence is NOT on deed. There's NO DEED on either sides. In fact, there's no deed anywhere close from the fence or catapult. Tried more than 50 times, I always get the message: "You seem to miss with the rock shards", even after logging off and on. I've a neat pile of rock shards in front of the crude wooden fence. If i move a TINY little bit the catapult, it goes behind the crude wooden fence. The rock shards NEVER shatter, even though they're LQL. The rock shards NEVER get any damages, even though they're low QL. My skill in catapult may be low, but last time I used it to destroy fences, I HAD absolutely no problem. Could you please check if there's any bug hindering the use of catapults? THANK YOU in advance for your help. Best regards, Illusion.
  4. Internal containers can still be separated by loading them onto a catapult, and firing a catapult loaded with them can even destroy at least some of them. Tested using a still, which had its condenser destroyed (After this, it can no longer distill. It still heats the liquid in the boiler, but nothing happens to it.).

There seems to be a bug when using a catapult to destroy fences on a deed. - the problem occurs when using a non-citizen of a deed to catapult stone fences on the deed. - occurs with permissions set for Non-Citizens can destroy fences and also when player is given a role with permissions set for destroying fences - bug manifests itself with continuous 'you just missed the fence' messages. - this occurs regardless of whether the catapult is fired from on deed or off deed to the on deed fences. - bug can be repeated and confirmed by firing the catapult at fences that are not on the deed -- this works while the player is on the deed perimeter To reproduce the bug: - use a non- citizen of the deed, set settlement permissions to allow Destroy Fences for the non-citizen - target a fence that is on deed - fire catapult . . . . . you just miss the fencen Skyefox
  6. I am friends with two players that have not been on in over 200 days. Three to four weeks ago their deed dropped. Glacial Glimmer Grape..I went to check it out within two hours of it happening. The stone buidings and walls had almost NO damages on them and were at 60ql + not to mention a bridge they had built when bridges first arrived. I checked it last night and EVERYTHING but a pallisade gate were gone...just like someone had come in and dropped everthing in some other game. That decayed WAYYYYY TO fast for in game mechanics in my opinion. I know this because I am a deed hunter and I know even with the recent bugs there cannot be any bug in game that could cause the uniform of a decay. I am wondering if someone has a bug or program that is doing this. I have been at a site that another player showed up..and when that crucial wall dropped within 5 min of that player showing acitivity the game crashes three times in a roll, in fact. Whats up with this..I have some other buildings wood and stone( off deed in fact and same or less quality) that have taken several months to decay halfway down, even with the recent bugs that Wurm showed us two months ago. Please check into this..I personally wonder if you can still catapults buildings into destruction..or use to ...SOMETHING is up though...this area should only at best be showing 40% decay on everything. And I know the owners have not been on in over 200+ days. Thanks.

I couldn't figure out how to use the silly thing and now it's just taking up space and you don't need them on PvE anyways. A small four wheel catapult designed to be dragged by one person or animal. It could be used to hurl items at walls and fences. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. It is made from firwood. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 65.59118, Dam: 0.0. You can barely make out the signature of its maker, 'Kazu.o.iriga.a'.

  10. It occurs to me that although animals have been discussed as weapons, armor, and shields... we havent really gotten into the implications of using them as ammunition. Rather the usage of corpses as ammunition... not that Im against the usage of "live" animals. Its just all ones and zeroes afterall. For example cows and catapults... >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQ8jGqdE2iw Psychological impact, disease, and a few hundred pounds of meat dropping on top of one is for practical purposes the same as a few hundred pounds of rock. Granted atm afaik theres no impact corpses have on animal disease ingame.

  12. The current menu status is becoming more and more bothersome, granted the intent is understandable. However, it makes some activities even more of a pain in the wrist... literally. One click-crazy, menu-hopping activity in particular is loading, winching, and firing catapults. Some sort of keybinds would be awesome: Load, Winch, Winch#, and Fire. Current max range of a catapult is fifty tiles, and the minimum number of winches before firing is ten. Adding keybinds shouldn't have a large impact on pvp, since the dmg and accuracy is fairly skill reliant anyways. Not to mention the action timers that already exist. Keybinds will just save some wrists and the tedious-ness.

  14. So, I read in patch notes that the invisible fences should be fixed. Version 3.23-5108 ------2013-06-28------- * Fix for invisible stuff Well that's not true, at least not for me anyways. As you can see below I still have invisible fences and bugged doors. When riding a cart the outline for the doors rotate. (same happens for a catapult)
