  1. Hello, my name is Xrosyx from the server Celebration and village Manderville Gentlemen's Club. I have encountered a bug and am reporting on it. 1. I removed olivewood wood planks (5x) from my bulk storage bin. 2. I opened my inventory in order to use them and saw that they could not be seperated and were showing as one item labled: "olivewood wood planks (5x)". There was no plus sign next to name, they literally showed as a single item..with a bulk item tag. 3. I dropped them onto the ground, they show up as a bag not a pile of planks. 4. I proceeded to take wood scraps from the same bin to test if this was reproduceable. 5. Same thing happened with scraps as did the planks. 6. I was able to pick up and drop the glitched items on ground. 7. Maintenance happened, and when I logged back into game I no longer could pick up the items, and am given an error message stating: "You must use the click and drag feature." As they are on the ground this is not possible. Long story short they are sitting on the ground, unusable, labled as bulk items but showing as a bag. I will reply with screenshots to show these bugs.   2. (Some) problems with current bulk storage: 1. Need multiple containers for every type of storage, to sort QLs. 2. Because of #1, we have container clutter. 3. Because of #2, it is a nightmare trying to keep our craft shops organized - we build ships and wagons in them and make tons of suggestion posts for crate racks and Storage vaults. 4. Can't store fish! 5. Can't more more than your personal inventory when dragging out of it to another container. Possible solution - New storage container that: 1. Auto combines and groups items (like now), but does it in 5QL increments, so I can have QL95, QL90... QL5 iron, all in the same container 2. Holds all the material we can throw at it. 3. Doesn't have an image change when more than half full, because there is no longer a max full or half full point. Does show different if empty though, like crates. 4. Can hold metal or food or even FISH. Eliminate the BSB vs FSB needs. 5. Can drag from container to container at much higher volumes than personal inventory allows. Maybe 1000? I think that is still within the safe range to prevent a server crash? 6. Can be created in 3-4 different styles, for decorating purposes, which can be changed with a hammer or pliers. This lets you keep a theme of different container look for a different purpose, but functionally the same for each visual model. Why do this change? It makes our lives a whole lot easier, when planning craft shops, kitchens and farms. It makes server load a whole lot less. It makes client performance much better, when entering local of a deed that normally had 200+ bulk containers to render. Make the new containers take a ton of planks and nails if you want, but let's get rid of unsightly clutter. On the old servers, when you run across an old collapsed deed, what do you always find? 10+ BSBs of rocks, wood scrap, dirt and low QL crap.

I was reading the 'Tragedy at Silent Hill' thread over in Town Square and realizing that one of the reasons I'm worried about letting a villager join my deed is because I've noticed that even though I 'plant' BSB's or FSB's...shortly after a server reset they stop being 'planted' and lose their 'firmly attached to the ground' tag. I don't want to even hire some person to make bricks or something on deed because I'm worried I'd have to allow pickup and they could just waltz off with any BSB's/FSB's that aren't locked down in a building...I've witnessed my BSB's/FSB's go unplanted numerous times, and asked around, and most people say it's caused by the server resets. The whole point in being able to 'plant' items is so someone can't come up and take them, but if after planting and throwing piles of things in them, they go unplanted...you have to fully unload them, re-plant to get the 'firmly attached to the ground' tag on them again...and shortly after another reset the tag disappears again, it basically defeats the purpose in the 'plant'. Is this a known issue that is being worked on?

I took some things out of a BSB earlier, using right click -> "take" rather than dragging them to my inventory, after doing so, they are in my inventory as a bulk item rather than the individual items. I went through these same steps to reproduce it, and it happened again. I am unable to put either of these items back into BSBs, as it says that it will destroy them. Examining the items in inventory gives: [15:19:55] A generic bulk item Dropping them on the ground makes them look like they're in a sack with a red question mark on it. Dragging from BSB to inventory still works fine.
  5. What do rare BSB's do besides decay slower? Not really a big deal to make one, more of a novelty and a pain just like rare sand or rock shards except who wants to sacrifice a rare BSB after putting all that creation effort into it? Maybe nice to display, but probably not as nice to decorate with as say a flag or statue of a horse . . . I recommend that Rare BSB's be able to hold rare resources - rare clay, rare logs etc - nothing that you couldn't put in a normal BSB only it has to be rare to go in it. If co-mingling of regular items is a coding issue then don't let it be able to hold regular items. Similarly a Supreme or Fantastic BSB would hold Supreme or Fantastic items respectively.
  6. Hi, I have been noticing all sorts of inaccuracies occurring when adding items to containers, such as BSBs and crates. Here is an example, with a BSB and square pieces of cloth: Start 2 pieces of 62.47 ql, add one piece of 36.39, end with 3 pieces of 52.91ql - which is not correct. Now, here is some simple arithmetic 2 x 62.47 = 124.94 add 36.39 = 161.33 divide by 3 = 53.78 - not 52.91 In this simple example I lose .87ql on 3 pieces of cloth - i lost .87ql on all 3 pieces of cloth 3 x 52.91 = 158.73 add 41.75 = 200.48 divide by 4 = 50.12 - not 49.84 Now I have lost .28ql on 4 pieces of cloth - that is working with the wurm calculations. If the calculations worked properly, then the result should be: 3 x 53.78 = 161.33 add 41.75 = 203.48 divide by 4 = 50.77 There are 4 pieces in my BSB with 49.84ql This means that I have lost .93ql per piece = a total loss of 3.72ql 50.77 - 49.84 = .93 x 4 = 3.72 If my calculations are incorrect, please advise accordingly. If they are correct, surely it is a simple matter of some accurate coding to correct this error. Thank you, PS: If this has been reported before, I apologise.   7. Hi i was playing on both Epic but mostly on Freedom, so from time to time i utilize the portal to change servers. When the second round of Challenge server was up i was playing for 2 days there but whit another character. Back to Freedom server i saw that my usual friends list from server changed whit the one i have on Epic and that persisted even after several logins. I just suspect that was something to do whit the recent updates. I continued to play then when i got to a old place where i was 2 years before, i tried to turn and Bulk Storage Bin and wasn't able to do it, but i can easily pull / push it. I made another BSB planted and i see that even planted this one i can rotate and pull / push when is supposed to only rotate them once planted. That happened on Celebration server on the c 20 in game map inside a mine. Thanks.
  8. So basically once upon a time most people kept their furs in a alt because there was no good way of preventing massive decay on them (kinda like how pelts still work). Rolf decided to be magnanimous and allow that furs (and pelts for a short time) be stored in bsbs to halt their decay. But since at the time there was only one item that used fur (beds) and the type of fur was irrelevant, when storing them into bsbs they all get mixed and become just "fur". So far there has been no real reason to change this since rugs, the item that changed this, are mostly cosmetic, and seriously, for me at least, i wouldn't see myself needing a bunch of these. But with the new bear hats (and who knows what else the future holds) having furs stored by type became relevant. So the suggestion is that the system be changed so that furs can be stored like logs, differentiating from Brown Bear, Wolf and Black Bear furs. The current generic "fur" can be kept as is, and as a bit of a relic of the past, or changed to their original status (if there's data for that) or randomly split between the 3 types. Discuss.
  9. I get so frustrated when I have to unload 20k lumps from one BSB, just so I can move it to the next tile, because there is already a BSB on that tile. I mean, what is the point? I can plant 50 BSBs on one tile, so why can't I just push 2 of them together onto a single tile? Was there some game breaker that made this restriction get put in the game? If you won't give in on this point, then PLEASE let us drag entire BSB/FSB contents from one to the other and not just the amount we can hold in inventory, or is that in place because of some game breaker? If we can't do these things because of PvP, then by the gods, split the code!! (please)
  10. Hi, the new BSB graphic is missing the bottom, you can see through it from below. I use them above head and they look awkward (next to I'm real sad losing the wood texutres which made it much easier to catalogize and find the right one if tightly placed). Jaz
  11. This is an older request, but needs to be addressed or revived. Use a saw on a log to make a plank - fits in BSB/crate just fine. It is a non-impable construction material. Use a hatchet on a log to make a beam - will not fit in BSB or crate. It is a non-impable construction material. Why??? This should really be in server bugs in my opinion, but since it was brought up long ago and nothing done, I thought it deserved a revisit here.
  12. When dragging an item stack from a bulk container (have only tested on bsbs and crates), and you drop the cursor within itself (essentially, cancelling the request), the container asks you how many to drop into itself. [18:12:05] You selected 1.

  14. I have rare bulk storage bean made of cedar i would like to sell. Quality is 39. Since is mostly for aesthetic purpose ( it glows ) it also should decay slower than nonrare one i think but ondeed that's not so important i don't really know price for it, offer me your best price and i would be happy to deliver if the price is good enough, otherwise i'll probably keep it for myself.

  17. My idea is to allow the user to be able to select item(s) in containers, and then type in once the amount he/she wants to move. Then every time the user selects that item for as long as they want or need they don't have to keep seeing the pop-up every time they move items back and forth between containers and inventories. For example, I know I can hold max quantity of 7 rock shards in my inventory. When I open the bsb and say select max that's how much is allowed for me. It would be nice, to type or only select that amount once. Then every time I select the rock shards from the bsb, until I decide otherwise that's the amount that will be selected and sent to my inventory without the extra pop-up. Feel that this would be beneficial in that it creates a more user friendly interface system and less keystrokes on the whole. TDLR allow user option to only have to select only once the amount of item he/she wants from container, until the user changes that amount.
  18. Currently the BSB has two states when filled, One with two long crates and two bags, and when filled alot a small crate is added on top. For those of us who have a deed warehouse filled with renamed BSBs, its not possible to really tell whats empty at a glance. So I suggest that BSBs have more different states to help us tell whats obviously empty, what has something in it, and whats obviously very full. So here are my suggestions: They hold 6 stages 1. Empty - An open crate thats clearly empty 2. One item+ in - A closed crate 3. More items - Two crates 4.Even more items - Two crates and a bag 5. Dirt hoarder level of items - Two crates and TWO! bags 6. What are you storing level of items - Current "full" model 7. This could be continued on as far as wanted, I doubt anyone would mind more crate stacks.

  20. I've been making a lot of thatch over the past few days (trying to get thatching skill up to 21 to finally be able to make roofs, but that is a different topic!). I am storing all of my thatch in a bulk storage bin. One thing I've noticed is that the quality of the stored thatch is changing a lot with the thatch that I drop in there. For instance, even when I have 200 stored thatch with ql 40, one more thatch with low quality will drop the quality of the stored thatch disproportionally. It feels like it is more or less taking the average quality of the stored thatch and the average quality of the dropped thatch and dividing this by 2, not accounting for the amount of thatch already stored.. I don't know if anyone can confirm this?
  21. When you move items from a cart to bsb it gives you the same bug that used to put you in front of a cart that was terraformed beneath. You are still on the cart but ahead of your horses if you move forward.
  22. When you load up a crate from a bsb or vice versa you are going from container to container so why the inventory pass restriction? If i select max from a bsb then just let it load up the crate with 300 items.
  23. Could you please add a checkbox in the game options for removing the "destroy" option from the menu. I'm always misclicking it as it's right next to "continue" and/or one of the improvement options. This is especially a problem for those with mouse aiming difficulties due to RSI etc. ps. The same goes for taking items out of of a bsb, the "send" button is too close to the "50" radio check box. Could that be moved a line lower please?

When i put a stack of freshly made cloth string into a bsb it takes on an extremely low ql, made 40 cloth strings in my inventory they had an average of 48 ql there were maybe 3 to 5 lower than 10 ql the rest were 30+ with a lot of 40+'s they were freshly made so no damage and there were none combined when i placed them into the bsb they lowered to 9.66 ql edit-> if i combine in my inventory before dropping them in it doesn't do this (also corrected some spelling)
  25. I would like to see a change to the storage of fish. Fish at the moment is pretty useless compared to meat, as it cant be stored, cooked or much of any thing else. Idea: give fish the same property of meat. once in a FSB give it a generic item like "Fish 5kg..." just to keep it simple. You should be able to cook fish and store it as well, then Filet them as needed. so Cooked Fish would be 5kg. and it would make 15 Fillets or something like that.
