  1. Dear dev.team, fix horses AI plz. Any animal in real life knows how to behave in herds. Why do Wurm horses don't do the same? Such grazers as horses should place themselves naturally no more than 2 per 1 tile to prevent diseases. If they have some free space, why woud they group and become ill? Any normal animal (led by instinct) will normally do the same. Just look at this. Lots of grouped horses that are diseased now!

On map: Hillside Refuge: Hillside Refuge has: - a well-treated trader, - a spirit templar, - a mine with different QL iron veins + lead (for mooring anchors) + marble, - lots of fruit and lumber trees, - a manor with forges and oven and beds, lots of space for storage and loom - pens and farm areas (only partly offdeed in legal enclosure connected to deed and so far under Magranon influence for repairs) - an almost finished small stronghold (incl. practice dolls and archery target) - 2 wells (+1 in mine) for your water-supply. - and a Guard Tower close to west border (covering highway). - [edit] silver/gold altars of all 3 Freedom gods Here some pictures of Hillside Refuge: Greenborough: Greenborough has: - more farming/breeding space - House with forge, bed, oven, storage, loom and sightseeing tower - Guard Tower in perimeter covering most of the deed - additional legal enclosure for farming (Mag influence) - oaks and willows Picture: Seaview Harbour Seaview Harbour has: - not much to be honest - some ground raised from the sea - offdeed legal enclosures for reed and ships up to knarr-size - ondeed clay Pictures: The deal would of course include all house-writs and gate-keys, the deeds, several BSBs and FSBs (few things still in there) and a breeding pair of 5-speed horses (if wanted and delivered for free when deal is complete, colour as you like). Starting bid: 60s No reserve No buyout No snipe protection Minimum increments: 1s
  4. I think it would be very useful and make taming more fun if you could tame at least 2 mobs at the same time, agressive mobs specifically, to allow easier breeding, the mechanics to breed them are already in game but you need armor to take the beating or luck so they dont kill the animal you have tamed while breeding. I understand there is also a PvP community that would dislike possible imbalences with people bringing multiple pets into a fight, but there would be mechanics that could be implimented to avoid that, a few ideas I have include (i dont know how to program java or anything so sorry if these seem unreasonable in some way) 1)Make only 1 pet active in the right click "pet" menu at any one time to make it too awkward to effectively use multiple animals in a fight 2)Tie being tamed to being on a deed, so that only 1 tamed animal can leave a deed at a time, and you can keep whatever amount of tamed animals that your husbandry skill allows on deed, This could perhaps also add an interesting last line of defence to PvP raids i hear about The basic idea is to allow the breeding and hitching of the agressive animals in the game to give a little more interest to the taming feature, basically no one uses it to help in fighting as it is and i belive its most interesting use would be along the lines of breeding bears and wolves etc to actually be useful and more capeable than wild versions using traits they inherheted through the player breeding them. Ideally the ability to tame 3 so you could safely move any babies you want to keep to a safe area to store, or an ability to temporarily make an animal on a deed docile for 30 minutes to allow actions to be taken. I dont actually tame animals myself my skill is 26 or so from equiping horses and such, i feel a change like this would open alot more doors to the feature an encourage a better economy in the animal trading area than just horses, the trade pet feature could actually have a use also
  5. If we can equip a non horse type critter with an item, we could re-name the item, thus identifying the animal for breeding purposes. It might be an easier code to write up than having the code to give them identifiable names when they are born. A cool idea would be to let us put a necklace on any tamed animal like a name tag of sorts. It would be helpful to the animal husbandry people and a new fun use for jewelry smiths.

  7. okay, i have done some testing over the last 2 months with breeding wild horses, bisons and dogs. all breeding was done on deed. the animal ration is perfect. groomed at least ones a day and my ah is 55. on my regular horse farm i get solid 5 speeds all day long. may be 1 out of 100 has a bad trait even less, but with the wild animals i get some shtty traits all day long one after another. i wouldn't even call them dog food anymore. that bad they are. malformed, feeble, illness and all the other bad traits which are out there. rarely there will have one okay trait. for me it seems like the game handles wild animals as if they were related to each other. i don't even get that many bad traits when i do some intentional inbreeding with brother and sister. anybody else has some long term experience on that matter? It can't be just bad luck over 2 months now.
  8. i think it would be nice to have more specific breeds of horses, instead of just a plain horse that comes in different colors. for example a dappled grey horse, or a clidesdale, or an arabian stallion, etc. any breed of horse just graphics tailored towards specifics
  9. For canine and feline mobs: Leather and studded leather collar For equine, bovine and bison mobs: Wemp halter
  10. For our cared for wild animals, can we have an item they can wear on face. Big red bow or a big spiked collar, so that people stop freaking out and trying to attack tame bears for example?
  11. Hi, having a problem with my breeding program, I get only males. With my Reylaark account on Deliverance, I've bred more than a dozen horses (at least) in various combinations. Every single foal I get is male no matter which horses I breed, in what order, etc. With my account on Pristine, I've been breeding a cow to two bulls... in three tries, I've gotten three little bulls. Naturally I can keep trying but wanted to post and ask first. I'd really like to keep my breeding program as limited as possible and responsible on each continent for obvious reasons. It seems really strange that in all of these different breeding attempts, I have not seen one single female animal. What am I doing wrong? Is there a trick to it? This is a fairly new problem for me since 1.0 Any help would be much appreciated. Of course, I can trade others or buy females. I can deal with it , but this just doesn't seem like it is working properly for me unless I'm missing a particular technique. Thanks!

  14. I get this message, no matter how the two animals are positioned ... [09:26:34] The creatures are too far apart. Same when leading either male of female. Update : it does work when I separated them a bit. Should the message read "Too close" ?
  15. what does "It has a certain spark in its eyes." do to the horses. like what effect does it have.?
  16. Hey it's Tripletake / Carnick here, I recently revived my mountaintop deed and as part of that process captured 3 crocodiles - 1 aged male champion, 1 aged female greenish, and one aged female normal. I am nowhere near the taming required to breed them and I do not wish to grind that skill right now, I'm too busy. I would like an expert tamer (you probably need 50+) to come and breed them for me. They are separately penned and I have plenty of ~78ql cooked meats in a bin to tame with. I would pay for each female croc impregnated. I can pay in silvers, gems, 75QL iron tools, or perhaps barter for something you need. My deed is at 48x, 33y. I will check here for replies and you can PM me in game on Tripletake. Thanks all!
  17. I keep a small herd of cattle, and log all of the breeding that I do. Today, I found a Young Calf in the paddock that I was not expecting. Right now, I only have 2 cows that are pregnant, and both show as still expecting. The calf's parents are both "mature", and while that matches one of my expectant cows, she still shows 4 weeks left. Also, I am the only person with access to the paddock. Not an important bug, but I thought it should be recorded. I'll update once the mature cow comes to term. Update : Well, my Mature cow just dropped her calf, and the traits are different that the unexpected one. So I'm at a complete loss here.
  18. I currently use a trait weighting system to decided what animals to keep. I'd like to add weighting for genetic diversity. Inbreeding isn't affected by grandparents thus only one generation needs to be considered. I'm looking for a math model so I can use a computer program to quickly make the decision. Any ideas? edit: I'm interested in tools to quickly deciding what to keep and which to breed.
  19. Hell horse is creature from hell, nobody can doubt it. All breeders are trying to breed 5 speeders from them. But it is wrong point of view. They are from hell and they should be as bad as they can What about to set our goal to breed hell horses with all bad traits and none good one? They are mostly for decorative purpose, so bad traits are no real problem for them. Perhaps only Fo priests can use them to ride/hitch not risking their random attacks. Clear bad traits with Genesis is easy. But try to clear good traits, there is none insftument for it. So breeding only bad traits ones is the real challenge I have one hell horse with 3 bad traits (from wild parents pair). I will try inbreeding as hard as i can and we will see what result it will brings. Anybody here, who want to try this challenge too?
