A Suggestion if I may please Rolf? Back ground info: With only two exceptions, all of the boats my wife and I have salvaged were built by people who have quit Wurm and are no longer active. In those two exceptions, the owners assigned over to us the owner ship of the salvaged boat. With the shutting down of the old Salvage Rules, there is now no mechanism for someone who Salvages an unlocked and unmoored abandoned boat to assume ownership and use of the management rights controls. So Can a mechanism be put in place to enable people to assume management rights of an abandoned boat? May I offer A Potential Solution.... an improvement.... Attaching a Boat Lock would activate Management rights and make the lock attacher the Owner. Removing a Boat Lock would deactivate Management rights and change the owners name to "Abandoned", signaling it is not under ownership. So if someone wishes to abandon their boat for what ever reason (quitting, have a bigger boat now) they can "give it away" by merely Unlocking it, removing the Anchor and walking away. Thus IF Someone who finds it wants that boat, attaching a Lock would activate Management rights and put their name on it as Owner. This would free the GM's from a lot of the ownership transfers they currently have to do. Wurm is littered with abandoned boats. Boats which required a large amount of materials and time to build. Those of us who do salvaging, we take these derelicts and return them to good use, whether by personal use or by reselling them to a person who wants a boat. We salvagers in effect "clean up" wurm and make it more beautiful and enjoyable. Could some consideration please be given to this idea. Thank you for your time and trouble. Would be so nice if they put back in game the ability to drag a sailboat behind the larger boats when you are commander. This was so handy and could truly improve the boat economy.

i tried to make a boat in a cart and i got this seems pretty clear to me that something is wrong with that,u should either remove the posibility of continuing or remove that message

Could you make it so, That the riging and the bottom of the boat are the same color. Making the cloth sail another color, or just the same color as it is in game..

As the topic says I suggest changing the position of the driver on the larger boats to in front of the sail like on the small sail boats. This would increase the visibility of the driver and make navigating a lot easier.

Hi, We please need someone to recode when you embark as commander so that you are placed on the boat in front of the sail so you can see where you are going. This is really a problem and i think needs to be addressed. There may be sometimes where commander is properly placed on the boat, I am not sure, but really we need for all boats to have a set place for the commander to stand so there are no obstructions. All materials will be provided by me; building time is about one day. Price is reduced to 1.5s, if you have the materials needed, and if they are of appropriate ql. Improving existing items: It is possible to improve any existing items you have, usually enchanted or rare items you just want them to be of higher quality. Prices vary depending of the item, as well as existing and desired quality, according to the price list above. Note, however, that I will not improve any boats made by someone else. NotesI am currently located at Deliverance (4x, 21y) and Celebration (30x, 28y). For blacksmithing/weaponsmithing items or chain armours, I don't mind delivering, especially if you order several things. Whenever possible, I can also CoD the items. Delivery of boats is also possible, but that depends on the case. I believe prices are fair and actually low. Some discounts might be possible, for large orders. -
Sometimes in shallow water it's necessary to dredge a channel for large ships. Usually the channel is visible, but on lower graphics settings it can be hard to spot. Combined with high winds, this can lead to ships running aground. Suggestion: Small barrel + mooring anchor = Buoy. Planted on underwater tiles as a marker Can be painted Can be named at 1 character per ql, as with small signs Same planting rules as signs (1 per Wurm week) to prevent spamming Could maybe be upgraded to a Flagged Buoy with the addition of a cotton sheet and a shaft.
