  1. the titles says it all, right now we can only use "WTS ,WTB,WTT,PC or @" to start messages on trade chat, it would be nice to allow the use or WTA for auction links.

  3. So, I've been following the trades quite a bit and there is a trend lately, for people to accept hidden BO offers, before the auction ends. The person holding the auction simply lists: "Buyout - make me an offer" and now the entire auction is nothing more than a WTS thread. I would like to see some real structure to auctions, to try bringing back the original feel they had. What is the point of even bidding, when you know someone can secretly make an offer and the seller can simply accept and close the thread? This is not what an auction is supposed to be. I propose we set some hard rules for auctions and enforce them by giving issuing warnings to people that break policy. After a couple warnings, they simply are banned from using the auction area of forums. WTS can certainly have loose guidelines, like "I want 500e for my character and I'll decide in a week", but then not decide in a week. WTS is the wild west of sales. Auctions need to be a bit more regulated, to restore peoples confidence in the bidding process. If ebay operated like this, it would never have made a dime.

  5. Dear Wurmonline (Rolf?), Just a friendly nudge to give all of us some feedback for our orders through player auctions. I notice you have between 11-50 positive feedback, while I still have none, for my 3 transactions Thank you in advance! -Wurmhole (Different username on PA)
  6. Hello, Just a question. If i post under WTS or market section some info about the seller/merchandise then it will be removed as derailing or trolling? Not here to blame, point fingers, just want to be sure how the ruling goes? Is it allowed to give info even if that is against the OP who selling the merchandise/service.

  8. I have always understood a buyout to be an amount that if offered, would instantly end the auction and the item would be sold to that buyer. Yet lately I have seen auctions that list a buyout as a range. For example: a recent auction for a deed had a buyout of 100 - 120e. The seller however said if offered 100e they would let the auction run till the end. Is that really considered a buyout? It sounds to me like it's just another bid. In that case why call it a buyout?
  9. They should make a in game auction house , to where we can sell items and animals for copper/silver etc. Then you could charge a 5 or 10% tax to the sellers, forcing people to buy silver and even some to buy silver in larger amounts. It would also provide to be useful for new people, causing them to stay around longer . lets face t he facts most of the people that quit the game is just because 1.way to much of a grind\grinded so long Burt self out. 2. become a hermit build a fort and lost sanity 3. . Built a house&catapult now what. I know of a lot of people that work a lot and are limited on there time so wouldn't be able to play the game and enjoy it due to the long grind (example: I don't want to spend 12 hours digging clay for my guard tower when could spend a silver and for someone els to do it or time being able to spend a little money on the Game currency . So why build a in game auction house 1. 5-10% tax causing more people to start buying silver 2. It would keep more newcomers here for the long haul 3. It would make the game less of a headache than using forms 4. More people would be buying silver and at larger amounts 5. You could make it a members only service 6. People wont have to struggle to get a small distance in return they could buy silver off you to pay Paul to gather 500 clay for example. 7. Instead of giving players the Hassel to constantly hope what they want ends up on the forms they buy the item then then go get it or wait for it to be delivered. 8. Just because everyone benefit from it the players and people on the payroll of wurm online. Ideas: Instead of just placing it somewhere keep it away from everything els . Maby make some sort of teleport thing just for there but afterwards you can only teleport back where you started . Also when in the auction area there no exits except to teleport back. (Or) another idea maby we could make some weird Viking horn and use it to call a NPC merchant ship from the water and pay the like 5 iron to take my charcter to the auction house.
