  1. Just noticed today, as I was giving my trusty old low QL anchor to a newbie boat owner, who did not have an anchor, that anchor had 13+ damage on it. Never saw any anchor take damage before. I mean I got them in use, under the boat or in my inventory normally, so no damage. But today this one had damage. So I checked my other boats. Two of those boat anchors have damage, one does not. Need to collect more data. I mean the metal of the anchor, if I ever had it unmoored, on deed off deed, such as this. The one I got on deed here, that I have not used since the boat update, has no damage on it yet. So maybe *shrugs* if u moor ur boat w/ the anchor in ur inventory, it takes no 'in use' damage like b4? Needs more testing. Thanks your time. I'll update this any new info I discover on this unpleasant discovery.
  2. So, we have this new metal property, "anchor effectiveness". In my understanding, it is supposed to work today, like this: - lead anchors keep the boat moored, in one place. - with anchors in metals like iron, the boat drifts slowly away. However, it is the case, as far as I'm aware, that boats without anchor don't drift at all (with no commander, of course). That is inconsistent and weird today, when with an anchor they'd move! I'm sure it must have been intended to make them drift. New players were wondering for years if they would, it's kinda common sense. Can we have them drift please? More than with any anchor, slightly more, but well, more. That makes sense now that we have these inefficient anchors already. Make them useful, at least make them help in SOME measure. The opposite means you're better off without anchor than an iron one, which just doesn't make sense.
  3. Hello, I'd like to buy a Mooring Anchor, sent by spirit mail, CoD.
  4. Can we please have an option to attach a mooring anchor to a ship and thus have the Moor/Raise anchor options on that ship without having to carry around in inventory a 20kg anchor. Or at the very least, can it be made so that the anchor drops in the ship inventory when raised, not in the player inventory ?
  5. Can anyone let ,me know what regions have lead... trying to make an anchor and have exhausted my serach in my area and have heard that lead is regional... so what region has lead??? Thanks a bunch... />salamon
  6. I have no idea what this does if anything but here it is. it was on one of the deeds i got with the priest and thought someone might want it to go with their rare boat or for a shiny decoration. 32ql - Rare Mooring Anchor (w96) - 4s CoD to buyer at their expence (well i think they can be mailed anyway)
  7. It would be nice if anchors were attached by the owner of a ship, And then could be used in the right click menu, In a drop down box. Which is used to raise, Or lower the anchor. And the anchor does not go into the players inventory when it is raised, But stays attached to the ship like real ones. Also it should be possible for the owner of a ship to remove an anchor, So that it can be replaced when it is damaged. This would keep the existing decay on anchors, Also the possibility of having one stolen would not be changed. Another good idea posted by Othob Rithol Is to have stone anchors, So that new players won't be left out, Due to the difficulties in finding lead.
  8. I'm selling 30+ql mooring anchors. 30 copper coin+cod / each or can be pickup at Q13. PM me in here or ingame.
  9. In this thread, you will be able to buy a finely crafted Knarr, put together with only the better quality parts (60+!), that are sure to have fit perfectly, and are not forced into place. The seats are comfortably lined with the furs of ferocious wolves. The deck has decorational wood carvings throughout, that is sure to catch the attention of everyone laying eyes upon it. It sure is a well balanced ship that will take you through almost any storm, except the one that will sink it (disclaimer). The ship Here, you can buy a QL60+ Knarr, finished with the wood type of your choice (apple, birch, cedar, cherry, chestnut, fir, lemon, linden, maple, oak, olive, pine, walnut, or willow). Please include the choice in your post, so I can finish and improve it right-away thank you The Knarr is an excellent all-round choice, good speed, decent cargo space, and not very much gauge to traverse even shallow waters that otherwise only rowboats and small sailboats can. The gimicks It comes with a boatlock and key, a mooring anchor, and the following collection of items that has been approved by many an adventurer, both alive and dead (where the cause of death was neither starvation or dehydration), free of charge: (Unless you specifically state, that you do not want these items) The extras* Any combination of these will need to be additionally crafted, logs are in stock though: - It can fit one wagon**, QL60, includes large padlock, for 20c. - Small crates for 5c each. - Large crates for 8c each (fits only 4 + wagon). - Rafts for 8c each. *Depends on how much fits in the knarr. **Animals to drag the wagon are not included. The delivery* I will deliver to coastal areas and lakes that are reachable by the knarr itself, most likely during daytime in the GMT+1/CEST timezone, to any server of the Freedom Isles. No extra charge. Must have patience to account for distance and weather conditions. *I might not be able to deliver today (Sunday, June 29), since I partake in the RoS cast meeting in Silent Hill, unless you live in the NE area of Independence and I can finish the order to fit in time. The price The price will be 14 silver coins, plus the price for any extras (wagon, crates, rafts). I will except 1:1 Silver to EUR via PayPal if you'd rather, although I do prefer silver a little more than RL currency. In this case, we would exchange payment details/e-mail addresses privately, please. Thank you, and I wish you happy purchase! ~Ulviirala, Harbourmaster
