A new Rift has been reported! The location is M20, south end of the middle Xanadu lake. It is accesible via Summerholt-Whitefay highway, then turning south and following the road. When reaching Order of Whispers guards tower and there will be 3-4 of them alongside the road (M22), wait until hit a crossroads and then turn right. The end of that road is shown on the screenshot as the right road ending suddenly in the forest. The rest of the travel has no roads but is quite accesible when going north-west towards the rift from sudden end of that road. It goes beside a hill. Approximate road map:

Hello! As the herd on my yard has grown a little too big for my own personal needs, I will be selling bunch of pintos, bloodbays and brown horses. All of them are 5-speed. No bad traits on any. The rift is south of Vrock, in i 13, on the southern of the two E/W roads south of the pass - this road is not shown on the current map dump (the continuation of the road south of Vrock over the pass, is also missing, no need to use the original tunnel anymore). Edited 8 hours ago by Wulfmaer

Sermons at the Amish Sanctuary Hi Wurmians! Another week hard at work in the kitchens of Wurm, with the in-house testing nearing completion before public testing on a brand new test server! We'll be resetting the test server map for a brand new one prior to the public testing of cooking, something new to explore! (In house testing doesn't mean the system is bug free, and we'll need your help testing it when it goes public, it just means that you're slightly less likely to die when lighting an oven... slightly) Get decorative! As part of our improvements raised by the fountain pan removal, I'm pleased to announce what is most likely the final change brought in to balance out the functionality lost from the removal of these pans. ***Drum roll** With the upcoming cooking update, all decorative items on a deed with over 30 days upkeep will no longer take decay ticks! That's right, decoration items, such as banners, chests, anvils, barrels, statues, etc will all be decay free as long as deed upkeep remains over 30 days! Under 30 days decay ticks will occur as normal, and use of items will damage them too, of course. Hopefully this makes decorating your deed much more enjoyable, and removes the need to spend hours repairing things if you don't play often. Measuring up This weeks teaser covers a new utensil, the Measuring jug! To aid with measuring precise amounts of liquids, a measuring jug tool has been added. This allows a pre-set amount of liquid to be taken out of a larger amount. The measuring jug is a pottery item, with the initial version being made from clay with a hand. Creation mechanics are the same as all other pottery items. To use the measuring jug, r-click on it and select ‘Set volume to’. This allows setting the capacity to any of the following weights: 0.01 kg 0.02 kg 0.05 kg 0.1 kg 0.2 kg 0.5 kg 1kg 2kg 5kg 10kg Note that Wurm uses weights for everything involving cooking; to simplify matters, it is assumed that all liquids have a density of 1 kilogram per litre. Once the volume of the measuring jug has been set, it may be activated and filled from a source of liquid; it will then contain the selected amount (assuming the source contains at least that much). Several iterations (using different volume settings) may be necessary to get the right amount for a particular recipe. The measuring jug must be empty to adjust its volume. Humpty Dump-ty Not forgotten, we're working on setting up an automated system with regularly updated dumps! This means the setup is taking a little longer, but they should be up soon, here's a sneak peak of Xanadu! Community Content. Nicrolis was showing off his graphics capabilities and snapped this awesome screenshot maxed out on graphics with 4k resolution, I have to say it really does show how beautiful and serene Wurm can be! Our deed currently has three premium characters that will host you, one of them is a Nahjo priest. Greetings from the sole member of the thriving kingdom of Necrosis! Are you a [insert attribute here] looking for a village that has [insert quality here]? Well lucky for you Necrosis has that! In all seriousness, I am a hermit living near greymead and I am looking for any semi-active player, new or old, to join in my village. The village itself is developed but is always being improved. As far as community, I am willing to host a symbiotic environment for my villagers by encouraging open trade. To elaborate, I consider myself a talented wurmian holding dozens of titles so I can provide good quality tools, iron, wood, crops, and so on. Henceforth, if you wanted to blacksmith I can trade you high quality iron for your goods, or if your a tailor I can imp your needle or trade other items for your wares. Symbiotic and fair. Some of the amenities on deed include a mine with several iron veins, a large farm, and stables. As far as housing goes I can provide plots of land for you to build on or your choice of several pre-built homes. North of Rome, in the bottom of J17. Its maybe 30-35 tiles off the highway in an apple forest. So current roads should suffice. Its about 4 tiles from a flattened area that use to be a deed, thankfully most of the fences have long rotted away.

The village of Mag Mell is recruiting. Who we are? At the moment we are 7-10 active villagers, mostly german-speaking, between 20 and 45 years old. Our Timezone is GMT+1 / UTC +1 What we are doing? Our deedholder Galadhel got this vision of a plain deed and an great village – so we are mostly terraforming now – and the deed is really big. We got time for our own business – but there are tons of dirt that have to be moved and a lot of rock that have to be mined down with surface mining. We are working hard, but it dont feels like working, cause we chat nice together and have a lot of fun – and there is nothing better as looking back after a while and see the work that has been done. Also most terraforming is done between 20.00 and 22:00 o`clock - and no one is responsible to help, especially not every evening. What we are looking for? If you are a new or older player with adult behaviour and you really like Wurm – then you are welcome. It would be very nice, if you would help as a bit with the work – so we trying to help you to answer your questions, a place to live (your own house) and other nice goodies like mine-using and horses to use – but we are living at a building site and there is a lot of work, that there once will be a wonderful village. Germans and german-speakings are welcome – the same timezone would be nice. How to find us? Hello! If you don't know me yet, you should. I sell horses. Not just any horses -- the super special new colours. Sure I can sell the old colours too if you prefer (only in the 5 speed variety), but the new colours are my speciality. I try to provide the widest selection on Xanadu. Here is what they look like: The jet black colour is also a 6th speed trait, and is the hardest colour to achieve, harder still in the 5 speed variety. Yes, I have tested the jet horse against a bay with the same gear on each, and yes, I have been impressed. He zips. Here is a link to my spreadsheet / Stock List, which I update often. Older colours are 50c each. Prices on the newest rare colours are highly dependant on stock availability, but I try to provide the best prices to my customers. These prices are listed on my spreadsheet. Where am I? I live at m7, on the mid-west coast of Xanadu. Depending on your location, I may deliver. Delivery fees apply, and are generally dependent on how far I have to travel. If I don't deliver, and you still would really like a horse (or a foal!), I can do long distance sales, where I mail you an item for payment of the horse, and then leave the horse branded and outside where you can reach him and grab him whenever you arrive.
