  1. You can load forges, ovens, looms, and other large items into your wagon and imp them without need to right click and inspect them for current QL and have access to the "improvement" icon on the item for a visual cue. If this has been noted before, I missed it.
  2. Not sure if you can even get one or not but if you can i would like to have one. I am not looking for the PMK ones posted about today i want just the regular MR red wagon. I also might buy some of the regular MR banners too but i for sure want the wagon so if you have one pm me with the price. I guess you can not get them on freedom it seems so i guess this can be closed
  3. Wagon

Wagon goes through houses, steep slopes, fences.
  4. [06:31:48] A fairly large wagon designed to be dragged by four animals. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. It is made from birchwood. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 51.527603, Dam: 0.0. The name of the owner, Puertorro, has been etched in the stern. Starting Bid: 5s Increments: 1s No Reserve Buyout: 20s
  5. I seem to have no permission to remove logs from my wagon on another persons deed. The only option i get is to steal and since i am on freedom it will not allow me.
  6. I often do cleanup rounds but some kinds of mobs cannot be placed in the rafts and need to be in the inventory. I am not sure how this works but I think it is the hardened and perhaps some other kind. It does not make sense that you could place a troll body into a raft but not a cavebug or cat body. They also all weigh the same, so should have the same volume? Is it possible to change this so all mob bodies can be loaded into the rafts? Thanks.

  8. Built the wagon and have five large crates, two small one and a few rafts in mine. Just wondering what others put in their wagons for storage, and why? I have rafts in mine as the crates level out quality, so I prefer to have some options to keep the high ql stuff high in the rafts. Other options?
  9. I love my deeds and i will always have them. But a little part of me has always wanted to go nomadic in wurm. I have tried on alts but its pretty tough. What i want to discuss here is the ability to go nomadic now enabled because of a wagon and loading beds, forges, and crates full of water, bsbs, fsbs. To me this now seems like a possible option or at least significantly easier than before. Please give any problems and potential solutions for this idea, jsut brain storming hear and seeing how the idea goes over. only problem i see is that you would have to create a small enclosure every time you stop and set up camp but that's not that bad.
  10. [20:20:49] A fairly large wagon designed to be dragged by four animals. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. It is made from cedarwood. You notice some notches you must carve away in order to improve the wagon. Ql: 21.645359, Dam: 0.0. The name of the owner, Zarame, has been etched in the stern. Oh, my, God! I am so happy!!!!! I was praying to get one of these in the next few days farming it, I tried imping one a few lucky!!!! I'm wondering if this is the first in existance?? For those wondering, Yes. It glows! I'll try posting a pic. Pictures here :

Large Crate - 10c Small Crate - 5c Ship Transporter - 3s (50ql) Wagon - 5s (50ql) *If you'd like your item(s) to be a specific wood type please specify that when placing your order.
  12. I've noticed that with animals on the very front of a wagon you can't unhitch individual ones while on the wagon while on flat land, and you can't do that from the ground anyways, you get "[23:07:09] You are too far away to do that.". Its pretty annoying to have to unhitch everything on the wagon in order to get one animal off of the front.
  13. I did some testing of speed with bison and horses on large cart and wagon. Animals have 5 speed traits and no negative. Horses have generally 70QL items and some 50-90 wind of ages enchantment. Large rare cart 2 mature bison = consistant 12.24km/h 2 mature horses (378woa)(198woa) = top speed 21.60km/h, generally lower. Mature 1 Total item QL: 367.68 rare saddle Mature 2 Total item QL: 370.02 Wagon 2 mature bison, 2 adolescent bison = consistant 18km/h 3 mature horses, 1 aged horse = Min speed: 13.67 Top speed: 17.28 generally lower about 15.5km/h Mature 1 Total item QL: 367.68 rare saddle Mature 2 Total item QL: 370.02 Mature 3 Total item QL: 323.07 Aged 1 Total item QL: 346.51 My conclusion is that bison are best choice for wagon while horses are best for carts based on the fact that horses generally pulled a wagon at 15.5km/h while bison never went below 18km/h.
  14. Back a few weeks ago when the wagons were first put on the test server i made one and a lg and sm crate to test it out. Well today when i logged on the sm crate had turned into the wagon and the wagon into a mountain lion rug. olivewood wagon.. [20:48:49] A thick mountain lion rug. It is made from olivewood. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 36.182964, Dam: 0.0. small olivewood crate.. [20:49:08] A fairly large wagon designed to be dragged by four animals. It is made from olivewood. It could be improved with a log. Ql: 72.69382, Dam: 0.0. The name of the owner, Silas, has been etched in the stern. The two were on the same tile but i have moved the sm crate/wagon since then. It is located by the lake with the sea serpent in a 2x2 wood house named cottage on test2 if you want to go look at it.
  15. From here: Quick copy out of IRC Jenshae: The wagons aren't exactly useful. Faster, great. Jenshae: What about being able to sleep in a wagon so you get sleep bonus? How does a wagon help to make a mobile home? Jenshae: It is terrible Noizhead - if I ever get to log on Jenshae: Wagons are also counter intuitive. They had more animals pulling them because they had bigger loads. Jenshae: Trucks and trailers don't go faster than sports cars. Jenshae: Chariots were faster than carriages (like a cart) and those were quicker than wagons. Now if it were slow but you could: Carry a type of small stove / forge on it and only it.Put a brake on off deed so that it can't be moved.Spawn a temporary 2x2 fence for your animals around it with a lock when you stop.Carry a rowing boat to go fishing. Then it would be a worthy addition to the game. Want four animals and speed? Make a chariot like that. -------------------- Want a ship equivalent? Make a freight cart. Appears to be full of crates, barrels and such.1.5 times longer.High sides.Bit slower.1 passenger.Same storage as a ship.
  16. I know many people have suggested these things already, probably, but I was not able to find topics for them(or for the sawmill idea atleast). First I'll cover sawmills. Some of you might be thinking 'Oh yeah, then I won't have to work so hard!' and some of you are thinking 'NO! It'll make things too easy/could easily be abused!'. First of all, I'm gonna slap a big fat nope on both of those. It might indeed make things more easy, but first you'd have to go through the pain and work of making one. It would not be a big object, maybe 2x1 tiles depending on design, also depending on whether it's human powered, animal powered, wind powered, or water powered. The components to make it would be tough for a noob to manage, like sawblades, gears, and whatever is needed depending on power source. A waterwheel would likely take something like a few gears, 80 or so planks, and 20 or so large nails. A windmill would likely need sheets and lots of shafts and a few gears, perhap metal ribbons. Anyway, you get the idea, lots of materials to make this. Also, the quality of the mill itself would factor in how fast is works and what quality planks it produces. A low QL mill would logicly produce cruddy planks As for the gypsy wagons, I of course mean wagons you could pretty much live in. Ideally a wagon should include a bed, an oven, and storage. Fancier wagons could possibly have more, but I'm just keeping this to a simple default wagon(what you get for completing an unfinished wagon). Logicly I'd think a wagon like this might take as much materials if not more that a Large Cart takes to make, and the materials a bed, oven, and BSB takes as well. As such, a gypsy type wagon may be quite heavier than a large cart, and could possibly only be dragged by animals with the 'Strong Body' trait. Also, where a large cart may travel 12km/h, a caravan wagon like this would travel 10km/h. This is just an example though, and entirely depends on what speed usually depends on. It would certianly usher a new age of nomads in Wurm, and likely promt the disbanding of many deeds. Also, many may make their business in opening the wagon equivalent of trailer parks Which I'm not sure is a good or a bad thing, but definitely interesting. Anyway, these are my thoughts on the matters, you're welcome to discuss what you think of these and what you think should be changed or some such like that~ And not that I need to remind all you good people, but please be respectful of eachother, no matter how wrong you think someone else is~
