  1. I am looking for Mature Wurm Players (as in Maturity and not necessary age). This is a private server with all 3 fractions. I have added 3 Mods to the server, One for lowering deed costs which are set to 1 iron per tile and 100 iron per Templar. Also a mod that prevents crops from decaying and another that tells you the seasons. What I am looking for is players who enjoy the co-op aspect of Wurm as In building and going on adventures to take on the Dragons and Creature Kings together. Even compete in some events and the occasional PVP (thus the 3 Fractions). At the moment we have around 5 players that are on regular at least 1-3 times a week. (I am on almost every day) And 13 players that pop in once in a while. It would be nice to have more regular players. The server has been running for 4 months and I have no plans to take it down even if no one else joins as it is cheaper for me to pay for the server than it is to pay for premium for Wurm online. (and my deed online would be around 73 silver per month). The server has 50 Slots and if I need to increase it for whatever reasons that is not a big issue as long as people are playing on it and having fun. I do not need any gms as I have a wait-list of trustworthy persons that been part of my community since day one. no matter how good you are I will assume you are not worthy of power and will flake once you done your damage. I've had enough of such people trying to grab any power were they can. settlements are requested to be decently sized so its clearly visible on map dumps. names can be anything except overly offensive, political, religious or provocative... a few settlements have followed a theme but this is optional... inactive settlements are subject to disbanding but keeping me informed on discord...   3. One of my favourite things to do in wurm is hunt flowers and mushrooms, white dotted flowers and QL90 black mushrooms are especially prized. But what if there was more out there? The idea here are for some new items that use existing spawn mechanics (the flower and placed shroom mechs) to reward explorers with something useful. Give them a high rarity on spawns (same as white dotted flowers or even a little less?) If one attempts to take these items to a PvP server some items (marked in bold italics) will convert to an inert form (instantly) that cannot be used on the PvP server (for balance reasons). All items can be crafted on PvP servers but those with an inert form are created inert. These items will restore to normal function once taken off a PvP server (takes 1 hour to prevent abuse). Just to restate these items cannot be found by forage/botanize, they can only be found spawned naturally on tiles (flowers) or placed on tiles (mushrooms), so they are not farmable in any way or form. Fo's Balm - Flower, weight 0.05 Healing cover Ingredient Str 5. When mixed with high QL wine (natural substances difficulty 60, QL50 wine minimum) provides a potion of "cure light wounds". When mixed with a healing cover gives an "infection drawing poultice" (natural substances difficulty 40, speeds up disease recovery when applied to body). Standing on a patch of these flowers gives a minor (same as a str1 healing cover) recovery bonus. Magranon's Treasure - Mushroom, weight 1 QL goes up over time left unpicked, once picked QL will not go up but this shroom does not decay in an inventory or container High nutrition food (= meal of same QL). When mixed with high QL wine (natural substances difficulty 70, QL50 minimum) gives a potion of "mole sense". When used on flint (natural substances difficulty 30) gives a lightstone. Emits a small amount of blue light when underground. Vynora's Breath - Flower , weight 0.01 When used on a gem (natural substances difficulty 80, QL50 minimum) gives a "stone of winds" (apply to a boat to give stone QL mins of gale wind travel in any direction, enchant dispels instantly if one enters a PvP server). When mixed with high QL wine (natural substances difficulty 50, QL50 wine minimum) gives a potion of "Vynora's Wisdom". Flower always animates as if a gale were present. Grants a small (non-stackable) movement speed while carried Libila's Shroud - Mushroom, weight 0.1 QL goes up over time left unpicked, once picked QL will not go up but this shroom does not decay in an inventory or container If eaten inflicts a poison wound on the consumer's torso (severity based on QL, higher QL = higher damage) and grants a reasonable amount of sleep bonus based on the size of the wound. When mixed with any high QL wine (natural substances difficulty 70, QL50 wine minimum) produces a "potion of hell strength". When mixed with high QL lye (natural substances difficulty 90, QL70 lye minimum) gives an "elixir of rebirth" (acts like the rebirth spell when used on a corpse). Emits a small amount of purple light when on mycellium. Optional Extra : Being a follower of the god the plant is named for gives a slight bonus (-5 difficulty) to crafting, that bonus is increased (-10 difficulty) for priests.

New server needing staff must have some exp in wurm and with helping others don't have to have GM exp will train I have rented the server for a year so i plan on being around for some time if interested please post here or message me.     New server up and running with final set-up. If you want a more challenging server to play on, then this is your server. This is a custom PVE map with no starter town, only master trader, bartender, guide at the spawn area. Action and skill gain multipliers are both set at 3, so do not expect to get a title quickly. Deeding is free, but upkeep is not.

  12. This is a no mod server. Everyone is started out at 20 skill lvl/10 fighting/22 body control. The skill lvling is lowered due to wanting Priests to have a place of importance. Money is flowing through the server, traders are enabled. It is encouraged to place merchants or provide services to other players. There is an Academy in place for new players that want a safe place to learn the mechanics of the game before seeking out on their own. (is not required to join this) There will be a website in place to show events, along with those in need of items or selling things. Events planned for the future: Boss kills Dragon Slayings Treasure hunt Arena (sparring) Mazes and much much more.   13. New server established 4 March 2016. Come join us. A limited number of pre-built Rowboats are free for the taking to help with expansion on the map. Deeds are free, however upkeep is required. The Starter town is at the tip of the inner peninsula (a little north of center of the map). Expansion to more servers will occur when we get more players. Current PVE map
  14. Hello Wurmians! I figured it was time to post on here to invite those who may be interested to join my now public server. Started mainly with alliance members from WO we aim to be a smaller sized community server - though obviously the more people the better, we want to make sure everyone gets along and we avoid some of the less appealing 'community' things that go on in WO. We currently have 5-10 players on the server and online at one time changes from none to 5-6 throughout the day. So if you are looking for a high population server we are for sure not that - though there are several great high pop servers out that that might be better suited for you. We aim to be a community based server, meaning that while not everyone will be best friends we can all get along enough that there is no drama in the game - after all we are all here to enjoy. Whether we eventually become public with a strict ruleset still has yet to be decided but for now we are content to slowly grow in a healthy way. Whether you are brand new to wurm or a vet you can find a place here. All new players are given 10s to start a basic deed. Outside of that deed costs are normal like WO and require silver that you can attain either in-game through forage or traders, or through our donation shop. There will also be jobs at some point, referral bonuses etc that will allow players to further pay for deeds without needing real money. It's a hot topic whether servers should monetize and while I am not out to make the big bucks obviously it would be nice to cover the server costs as well as stockpile some to secure the servers long life. All donations are visible to the public and monthly statements are posted to show everyone exactly what comes in and what goes out for things like the gameserver, website, teamspeak etc. We are hosted on a beefy 64gb server that I also use to host other game servers sometimes - there is room to expand as the community does or if we go public. Maybe one day add a PvP map.   15. Introducing the new server Lagenon. It's a brand new server and map hosted by myself. It features 1x skill rates keeping it close to the original WO experience. We're hoping to get people to specialize in one or two fields and share their craftsmanship with the other players. I spent quite a bit a time tweaking and finding the best generated map I could get from tools available. It provides lots of water access for more boating fun, as well as plenty of space for everyone's projects. Made sure trees and other biome features were distributed well, and did my best to prevent any strange non-natural feel from the land.   22. Many of you may know me as Zazamari from....various servers. I have had this server waiting in my data center for a while as the interest in the minecraft servers died off. Wurm has always been a great game to me and I am happy to announce that the Earf gaming network has been re-activated with the start of Earf 2, the Wurm Unlimited edition. This server is in a class 2 datacenter with plenty of CPU and RAM if interest is great enough options can be made to enhance the experience even further but here is the current plan: Currently: -1 PvE server (thanks to Jerico for letting me use his map http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/132427-dark-island-map-4096x4096/ ) -2x skill rate -3x action timer -20k mobs, 30% aggressive -All others default, skills start at 1, stats start at 20 In the near future: -1 PvP server (Now open!) -This will likely be opened soon after everyone has gotten settled and gotten some basic materials and supplies set up -8192 in size -Suggestions will be considered regarding mods or server changes -Events will be held here -First 6 people to join will receive 1g as seed money to start their respective kingdoms off safely, 2 from each kingdom will be given this -For those that want to join PvP immediately I have set up alts in the respective starting towns, if you wish to immediately go to the PvP server upon joining simply ask and you can be summoned there since we do not have portals yet. -50k creatures, 50% agressive -5xskillgain, 10x action timers In the far future -3 more PvP servers -Each will be for the 3 main kingdoms -Other PvP home servers -These could be paid for by large kingdoms to help fund hardware upgrades etc Up until December 1st all deeds are free Deed upkeep on PvE now forever disabled, creation and expansion will still cost coin, simply find a GM (My GM account is Zazanari) and ask to be given some starting cash (10s), additional cash can be drained from traders for expansion. On December 1st deed upkeep costs will be enabled and villages will be responsible for maintaining upkeep in their deeds. Also on December 1st the first dragons and other legendary creatures will be spawned (unless spawned early by the server) The server is in a class 2 datacenter in Texas with a 100/100Mb connection with multiple gigabit redundant uplinks to the web. The server sits on an SSD and is backed up hourly to an onsite storage device. Historically it has has 99.99% uptime even with several servers running on the system so I consider it quite stable in fact its been 106 days since its last reboot (done by me not a crash).
