This server is called Fairytail Island, Can be found on Steam List as [US]Fairytail Island. This server will be modded to allow: 3x Skill Rates. 5x Action Bar Timers. Will have Active Staff.   6. Starting this evening we are running our login server which will eventually act as the gateway to our cluster. Amber Coast Size: 16sq. km, 1024*1024 or the size of the old Golden valley for those that remember. Playstyle: PvE. It will remain so as a homeserver. Other: Deeds are disabled apart from the starter town, as are priests (no holy altars). Until our own religion overhaul is complete, there will be no way to advance religion. Artifacts have also been removed. Skillgain is set to 6x, action speeds to 4x with many skills individually tweaked to be easier/more balanced. Tree growth is slightly accelerated and crops should be completing their full cycle in 48hrs. Skill restrictions for riding mounts/sailing ships have been removed. The logout timer for beds has been reduced to 6s. The server is running 12, 000 animals with a lowered aggro count (subject to change). Teamspeak: 5.189.156.203 We will be making adjustments as time progresses to bring about the most enjoyable experience, however we will not be wiping characters or progression. The WUFU Project An extensive modification of the base game, WUFU's primary goals include an overhaul of religion, sorcery, meditation paths; rebalancing combat; altering travel speeds for sailing; model and texture improvements; and a review of how PvP mechanics come into play. There is also a long, long list of other modifications we hope to introduce. The main map for the cluster will be Tormaer, a 4096-sized PvP server, featuring PMK's and everything else you might expect. More details of these will be forthcoming with our new website.

    Hi All, I would like to welcome you join the Galapagos server. Its been up since the start and I should imagine it will be up for many years. I play WO for quite a while Currently its set up with; Start Island with open iron, forges, traders (with loads of silver left), open inn with free beds, lots of space for you to venture, 15k max creatures (10% hostile) - will change if it density is off but fine so far, give feedback Skill Gain *3 Action Speed *3 Mind Logic 25 Body Control 25 Body Strength 24 (so you can load/unload, ask gm in freedom to bump) Characteristicts start at 20 Fight and overall skills start at 10 Deeds are free, until we build up an economy and may change if long term abandoned lots ever become an issue Teamspeak (ask in game and i'll give you the address) A few people on from the release of WU but I haven't been proactive hunting for players, all are welcome to use and its in a vm on my dedicated servers that have been up many years and will be for the foreseeable future give or take a dead hard disk every so often which get swapped out of the raid set quick when needed, should this change I will release the map to all players so they loose nothing. Lots of stuff to get kitted out in the starter island which is bridged to the mainland for you to wander and find your place, also several sail boats for people to share (or pinch). Included with playing on our server you may Join our Teamspeak to have voice communications with fellow players join up and form settlements.   12. Greetings fellow Wurmians! With 11 days until Wurm Unlimited is released, I figure it's time to announce my intentions to run a Wurm Unlimited private server. Again, most of the capabilities are uncertain but the following is a rough road map of what I want to do with the server. In-Game and Community Features Monthly in-game events (provided these can be scripted) - Examples would be a troll uprising and invasion of the starter city that players must defend against or holiday themed events Additional creature types if available Occasional quests offered by wandering NPCs with rewards being skill gains in a related skill, high QL items, or other rewards Pre-scheduled dragon slaying events, limited to 1 every other month in addition to whatever the current dragon spawn mechanics are Played owned deeds and alliances New items (if possible) Public Mumble server with private channels for alliances and villages If possible a web based news feed for new deeds being started, disbanded, and other notable events (event starts, dragon slayings, etc...) Fully functional in-game economy, including foraging for money and traders 10 silver to each new player that joins Patreon account to facilitate extended benefits for those who help offset costs of the project* Challenge mode featuring 60 day resets, other details to be worked out with community Starter city with access to free food, basic (10 ql) tools, and other items to help new players / characters get established Alliance / village leader boards - compete in a variety of categories with your fellow community members Accelerated skill gain, up to 5x Infrastructure Each server is planned to be hosted on a virtual private server in a major data center, not running on a spare tower in my basement! So why am I starting this project? I love games, and I love Wurm. Running a server allows me to add my creativity to the game via the modding tools and server admin tools it offers, plus allows me to provide a place where people who want to flex their creative muscles can do so in a medieval fantasy environment. It's no small secret that Wurm is a unique game, and by running this project I get to ensure that experience is preserved and enhanced. I also enjoy creating things for others to enjoy. Over the years I have been a server admin for various MUDs in the mid-late 90s, ran several pen and paper RPGs, and founded / led gaming communities in various MMOs. My favorite thing is when a bunch of players get on and enjoy what I have put together, be it roaming fleets in EVE Online, raids and games in World of Warcraft, a 10 session campaign into political intrigue around a table with dice, pen, and paper, or by experiencing a journey through one's imagination via a text based MUD. I am committed to funding this project for a minimum term of one year. If the player base grows to 15 players in the course of that year, then the project will move from a project to long-term endeavor. If this project attracts donations, then it will be guaranteed to run longer. After one year I would like to have 2-3 volunteer game masters, and another volunteer developer working on extending the game, if possible, or working on in-game events. So what qualifies me to put this project together and manage it? In real life, I am a server administrator / business intelligence developer with 14 years experience. I have a deep passion for this game and for providing fun content for others. I like to code, and I like to design elements ranging from houses to sprawling deeds. Hi everyone, there are already a lot of PvE servers out there, but what I find problematic is that I have to trust the server operators with my character data, who may or may not shut down the server anytime. So I went ahead and created a dedicated PvE server where you can download the full server backups anytime you want, including your character: Server Name: clashcode.com Being able to download backups means you're in full control and don't need to trust anyone that your can continue playing on the world that you're joining. Hopefully other server operators will follow and also provide public server copies.   16. Come one, come all to the greatest PVE server to date! We are a new PVE server that is setting up and getting ready to have a ton of fun. We are players from Wurm Online looking to get a medium size server up and running. However we cannot do this without help from other players like you! To get things started, we will be hosting a 1 week only special where we assist with the deed form needed for the first deed. We already have the starter deed set up, so log in now to the Caucasia server! This will be a players server, the GM’s are here to make your wurm experience great. We will take suggestions from players to implement what you want.   17. Basically, We are looking to allow peeps on the server to follow any god of their choice and yet still be in villages together IE 2 vyn, 2 lib, and 3 mag guys living in a village together. Any way to allow this server settings wise? If the game wants to be religionist against the amazing BL followers. Is there a setting at least to allow all to talk on the same global? This is a small server which has several old time wilders coming back from a several year hiatus wanting to peacefully play with their hardcore WL friends, Thanks for your time ~Xemos
  18. Costs 60 favor, has difficulty 40, unlocks at faith 30. When cast on a tile converts that tile's domain into the domain of the caster's god for 10 + power/10 minuets. The power of the domain is negligible. This simple spell would allow the placement of low level altars in any domain (allowing shrines that don't rely on gold/silver alters which look quite ugly in humble settings) and would integrate into the permission system well. PvE only, because it would be exploitable in PvP.
  19. First of all I think Wurm is an amazing game and Rolf is a genius, the dev team has done a lot of great things to improve the game during the time I have played it. Although as good as Wurm is, there has been a lot of valid complaints about the lack of PVE content lately. Actually there has been complaints about this for as long as I remember. I am guessing that the reason for lack of PVE content is because it is very expensive to hire developers to create such PVE content. Luckily Wurm has a natural solution for this with players who enjoy building and creating content. This suggestion will also solve the problem with critter spawn. Instead of turning up the amount of critters on the entire server players will create critters where they are needed. I actually have more then one suggestion how to make it work. I list them from easiest to implement to more complicated ones. It´s also just a collection of ideas ideas and not the best solution anyone can think of. Some ideas are inspired partly from other peoples suggestions that I thought were good. 1. The easiest one would be to allow players to create monster lairs on their deed, the function for this is already there if you copy the code from guard towers and instead let the lair spawn hostile critters, then you can create a room with critters. Guard towers also cannot be created too close to each other and lairs should work the same way which would demand some space between the lairs and create an interesting dungeon to walk through. Make each critter killed work the same as a sacrificed item does to increase village bonus. The sacrifice value for each critter would of course have to be balanced to not be overpowered. If its difficult to program village bonus from a kill then perhaps allow sacrifice to be made with god statuette and give the player a small chance for a rare coin (same chance as selling corpse to token). Guards and spirit templars shouldn´t be aggressive towards lair critters. 2. If it´s too unreasonable and unrealistic that a mayor would create a monster dungeon below his own village then make the lairs harvestable by the mayor and critters are "attracted" to the lairs. Different mushroom patches could act as a spawning lairs for goblins, trolls, or cave bugs, spider lairs could have silk, lava fiend comes from lava so perhaps if you built a magma vent you could build a magma ore smelter above it using same mechanic as water tiles for wells. Mushrooms could be part of increased alchemy and potion making that has been suggested before. 3. Another good suggestion I read was to use a PVE island/server where you cannot place a deed and only go there to hunt. It´s a good suggestion but a better suggestion would be that you can go to this server and build a dungeon, town or castle and populate it with critter lairs. To build there you would buy a portal writ from a trader and place the portal on your normal deed on the Freedom isles. When you first use the portal as mayor you end up at a start location on the new PVE island. From there you run to a good location and drop your second portal and start building your new PVE location. The portal would function exactly like the Epic portals but instead of leading to Epic you go to the corresponding portal at the PVE location. When you kill critters here you get all the normal meat, paws, teeth, hides, eyes etc but since you can´t bring a horse or cart to carry it all the critters also drop a new high QL item with a fast decay that can be sold to a token the same way as a corpse when you return to Freedom isles through the portal. Selling the item also give a sacrificial village bonus, it has high decay to encourage that the player sell it in the same village as the PVE portal that he used. 4. If all of the above is too complicated or if player made PVE content and dungeons is not a good idea then the most simple idea to improve PVE would be to let trolls, goblins and lava fiend have a very small chance to drop a ruined adamantine or ruined glimmersteel items. All you can do with this ruined item is smelt it into a lump. With enough lumps gathered this way you can eventually create adamantine and glimmersteel armor and weapon.   20. I'm majorly into the fishing/cooking side of the game and would like to see additional items like more baked good (cookies, types of bread etc...), stuff like pizzas (fish, beef, pork....), or even types of soups courtesy of plants found throughout the world.

Hi, It has taken me 5 hours so far to destroy 2 sections of a bridge I built just off deed, as an experiment, using a large maul, 82ql to start - can't use catapult as not enough room before an abandoned ship is in the way - and miss most of the time anyway with catapult and just waste shards that way. I understand that it should be difficult to destroy bridges on pvp. However, on pve, there needs to be a quicker way to do this. Any ideas would be welcome, but I suggest that the destruction of bridges be made way easier on pve servers. Thanks,

  23. Would like to see some new mobs added to the game across all servers. It gets boring lookng for trolls,lava fiends, hell scorpion, or anything else that offers a decebt amount of fight skill per kill, vs the lesser easy mobs such a bears and stuff one with over 75 can kill in 1 hit. Trolls are tetting to easy and im noticing the populations thinning out. Too fast I can get 15 trolls in 1 hunting trip and then have to come back in 3 weeks for respawns. That being said some other monster and animals that would fit with what we already have. Categorie 1 Orcs (we have goblins and trolls why not) Gnolls Will-o-wisp maybe rare? Drops a light source I could list a zillion things Elephants, Tigers, Rhinos, hippopotamus, anything like that the list can go forever. Just some other type of critters that would promote hunting with partners Or someone skilled enough and with the right gear wouold have a challenge. Maybe normal spawbs for bew critters abd for the tough ones limited to tybdra spawns. Much like the sea wurm it only spawns in the ocean.
