  1. Cover note Essentially, we keep hitting upon this stumbling block. White Light priests want to be solo heroes and complain about the Black Lighters being too powerful. To make it abundantly clear - THREE white light priests versus ONE black light priest. Magranon priest - front line fighter / paladin type. Fo priest - healer / defence Vynora priest - support, locate / enchantments Libila priest - should be everything to counter those three. The WLs should combine to defeat the threat of the BLs (I know, not enough players, no real threat and that is how you like it.) Proposal Split the black light priest into two. Strix - Healer / support - can draw power off zombies and give it to the Atra Militis or other Black Lighters. Can't use it themselves but can give it to other Strix. Blessing of the Dark, Lurker in the Dark, Dispel Strongwall, Fungus, Fungus Trap, Demise Spells, Rotting Touch, Dark Ice shell = 75% of Oakshell, et cetera Atra Militis - fighter priest - Drain Health, Drain Stamina, Web Armour, Hell Strength, 40+ faith = +20% damage, Pain Rain, Phantasms, et cetera.
  2. Yo! Another Lib drawing Been going at this one for awhile, should have it done long ago but been too busy with little side jobs. [20:33:37] You see the dark Goddess Libila on her dark marble throne as she plays with her mighty artifact,The Glass Orb of Doom. Now to go on to the other 3 Gods, might try Fo next. The hippy needs some lovin. Process A lot of layering on the pencil for the final part(which I did not take a picture of). Over all time, probably something like 7hours, shading the throne to make it look like black/ dark marble was fun.
  3. Commorragh Chaos – Horde of the Summoned Libila, Goddess of Destruction and the one true Diety of Wurm, has once again cast Her eye upon the lands of Chaos. The Blacklight shines dark in the sky and the call has been issued. She is once more gathering Her faithful, sending whispers out to all of the other lands to draw in fresh blood for the eternal struggle. Many, both those who have never forgotten Her voice and those new to the sweet, sickly magnificence of Her call, have drawn together to rebuild and recapture what was once Her’s. From these, Commorragh has been refounded. Initially rebuilt by a small group of former citizens, Commorragh is thriving again, with much on offer for devoted followers of the Dark Goddess. About Chaos Chaos is currently the oldest of the Wurm Online servers, with a long history of established and well fortified deeds. Over the years, Chaos (formerly Wild) has gained a bad reputation, helping to cause a poor influx of players. However, these stories are generally exaggerated, as is the custom on the server. If you were to ask your typical longterm Chaos resident, they would no doubt inform you that the situation on the server is no where near as bad as is sometimes portrayed. People craft and breed animals and do all of the normal things you do in Wurm, but with a little extra. Even those for whom PvP is not their primary concern, can find homes. There is some further general information about the Chaos server here: Chaos FAQ About Commorragh Construction of Commorragh began in the end days of the former capital Ebony Veil. Built deep in the forested heartlands of HotS, it quickly turned from a field of trees into an industrious Capital under construction. Commorragh provided refuge for a number of those who lost their homes during the previous war and gave a focus for their efforts. A turnover of recruits allowed the construction of new deeds, repopulating the surrounding territory. . HotS continued to be pushed back and the Citadel was abandoned when all hope seemed lost, it’s survivors retreating for a time. The City of Commorragh has been restored to it’s former glory by some previous members and a new influx of pioneers, making the settlement stronger, more vigorous than ever. We offer many choices in play style and all manner of players are welcome to apply and will be considered. Prospective Members What Commorragh can offer you: -A safe place to live/craft -A multistory house and help designing it to your specification -Crafters to help you with what you need, with the opportunity to earn enchanted tools/weapons -Assistance with fighting/crafting skilling -A variety of resources to work with -Experienced players who are more than willing to answer questions -PvE/PvP events -A fun and active community What Commorragh is looking for in Members Becoming a citizen of Commorragh will involve an application process and possibly a short interview. New members will experience a trial period to ensure the player is right for Commorragh and Commorragh is the right place for the player. The trial period is also to gauge the activity level of a new recruit, as players who join and quit a week later has been a pain in the past. We do have a Teamspeak server which we use and expect members to set up, it is not obligatory except for PvP. -Helpfulness and a good work ethic -Respect for your fellow citizens and a reasonably mature behaviour -The willingness to defend regardless of players PvP interest -Actively playing You hear Her whisper in your ear… will you answer? You can apply for membership here
  4. Mycelium and zombies No, those are not the names of her magnificent weapons of bra destruction. Anyways, this took way longer than it should have, had a little push from Jberg Switched my style up a bit, so her face is much more sharpened, but its still the Lib i know and love. I went very detailed on the bones, hair and shading to counter the cartoon style. I like it J O I N M E Pencil-Artline/A3/ 9hrs Process Next Project Its just Lib on a throne playing with the glass orb of doom This time I'm planning to do all the Gods and Goddess. All of em on their own throne and playing with one of their artifact.
  5. Every now and then the global spell of Magranon gets cast: "Ritual of the Sun". A spell that repairs all walls and houses in the domain of Magranon. And many people also have a dominant Vyn/Fo/Mag domain at their deed for spellcasting. But I always find it rather hard to tell where such a domain ends and where the next begins. You can either map it somewhat or just run around, but I thought it might be easier and a bit cooler if we could ask the gods themselves, to reveal the boundaries of their domain on the Wurm world. How would this go? Well, you activate your statuette and right click the altar of the god you are follower/priest of and cast a low favor/low faith spell called "Reveal Domain". Then, on the borders of that particular altar-domain, markers would pop up like the ones you get when planning a deed, but other graphics offcourse, something a bit more devine in nature. Perhaps glowing orbs (green for Fo, white for Vyn, red for Mag) that last around 30sec - 1min and can be seen from far away, or at least far enough to cover a theoretical radius of a 99ql altar. (but the graphics department, or other wurmers can probably come up with cooler ideas XD) That way one could see very clearly and very easy if the domain reaches certain walls or houses in the distance, or if the vyn domain covers your entire deed. PS: to prevent people from spamming the glowing orbs/markers everywhere, you could put a cooldown on it, maybe once every 6 or 12 hours
  6. "Ah crap I dropped something in the ocean.", "Hey Libila, mind coming down for a sec and grabbing my stuff for me?" *flash of lightning* "Sure thing Boombza. I'll grab it with my trusty scythe- NOT!" *Libila smashes cog* "Who do you think I am?! Foolish mortal!", "Don't you dare summon me again, next time it'll be your head." Haha, so on a serious note this was quite fun to draw, I'm not one for drawing action scenes or even backgrounds so its a bit of a change. I've always thought it'd be cool to see the gods themselves come down to Wurm once in awhile from Valrei, and be this massive being, bigger than anything else. Even putting their avatar's in the shade of their awesomeness. As always thanks for checking it out! More to come, I'll try lay off on the Lib fan-art and do something different. No guarantees haha Process Thumbnail-> 2H sketch -> .1 artline outline/details -> .3artline separating objects -> Erase pencil -> Shading 2H -> Shading 6B -> Shading EE. (Had to use EE because it was hard to separate things with 6B not being dark enough)
  7. Broke my 75coc skiller pick doing this picture, just hitting bind without looking at dmg GG. So its not the same model as the Avatar of Libila, I know. I’m still very attached to my version of Libila.. The process 2H-> 1. artline-> erase pencil -> .3arline-> 2H shade-> 6B shade. Notice me Wox senpai :3

  11. I made a new character on Chaos. I tried traveling to the altar of bones... and failed. Many times. One time I think I almost made and and got killed by tower guards? I still really want to be on HoTS because I want to be a Black Lighter. Is anyone willing to convert me to HoTS so that way I can just respawn at starting town there or something? Anyone who's willing, post here or PM my forum account. (I realize this probably would be better to post on the Chaos forums but I can't post there right now.)

  13. Hi there. While learning a small amount about the lore and playing the game for a while, I thought that the appalling subject of Libila worship was underplayed. According to early Christian teachings, the Devil often tempted his converts with riches and powers. These converts were said to practice or commence in ceremonies such as the Black Mass in secret under the nose of the European populous and even at times, secretly in Christian places of worship. This is part of Libila's inscription on the Bone Altar: "Let me sharpen you, and let me run you through the heart of my enemies. For this I will reward you greatly. You will be given powers beyond normal mortal possibilities. Exact my revenge anywhere, anytime and anyhow. Make it painful and frightening. Together, let us enter the Forbidden Lands. We are all in our right to do so!" This is not totally different from early Catholic dogma during the Dark Ages used to scare a chaotic European populous into becoming a tighter and more orderly society. With this being said, why are Libila worshipers only confined to being openly part of the HotS? Why can't they worship in secret in return for great powers promised by the dark goddess if certain rituals are met? I can see this implemented in TWO methods, though I'm sure that there are more that I'm not thinking of... 1) On certain days, moon cycles, or whatever else, the cultist should desecrate one of the three light god's domains by commiting actions such as sacrificing a tamed mountain gorilla in the domain of Magranon or desecrating an altar with the taint of Libila. 2) Seeing that players lack religious zealotry of a fictional world enough to convict a religious upstart to a crime, an obvious problem is presented. A way to bypass this problem is to make Libila worship allowed through settlement laws, which brings me to my next point... Throughout medieval history there has not only been wars between kingdoms but also in-fighting between vassals. One of the reasons for the multitudes of these mini-wars was religion. Some went as far as to call them crusades, such as those against the Albigensians or Cathars. Religious in-fighting may be possible through the tolerance of Libila worship or even the securing of holy grounds from other villages. This may even be a jumping off point for the creation of Boroughs, Republics, Duchies, or maybe even kingdoms having sort of leadership. Making a priest or champion gain faith or other bonuses through ousting these cultists (or 'witches') may be another counter-benefit to the witch/witch hunt implementation. Libila cultists, witches, secret priests, fallen priests, etc., could have powers such as a curse of lycanthropy or something while those who devote themselves to hunting these antagonists can have powers or abilities themselves. Please note that when writing this, I intend not to advocate for display a representation of Christianity, witchcraft, or Satanism in the game and do not wish to advocate for any side nor condemn any religion. I also do not intend to advocate for a furthering of historical accuracy in a fantasy game setting. I hope I didn't offend any of you If you have any issues or further suggestions, let them fly!

  15. Is there a real reason why only Horde of the Summoned can be followers of Libila? After being a mag priest for a long time, I've started wondering why even bother, when you could make an alt there (HOTS) or just convert to hots and still be part of your real kingdom by being in the same alliance. Obviously you would still get attacked by kingdom guards which would make it difficult to really participate in your kingdoms events. So why are Libila priests so over powered and not divided into different gods. I think there should be a chance of being in peace with an other PMK so there could be a hots based PMK attached to a White Light kingdom based one.. Also when Wild was made part of the freedom isles and non pvp, we all got a /transfer to chance religion (because hots needed to have a chance to convert to white light gods, as hots was removed). So now when HOTS and Black Light is back, why isn't there an option to /transfer back to Libila? Updated.
  16. I was thinking, wouldn't it be neat (it may just be me) if there was a way to be a support-fighter without being a champion or priest? Think about how dual-wielding/aggressive stance is kinda your main dps, shield-wielders are tankier and tend to have heavier armour; what about an option to add a torch as a third-choice for off-hand? WL: Inspiring Enchantment - perhaps for Magranon (as it's to lead soldiers into battle) or for Fo (healing) - my thoughts on it are, if it's a Mag enchant, Inspire could be a thing that perhaps gives a small flat FS bonus or resistance of some sort. IE, Dawnbringer (torch). It is enchanted with Inspire. Allies of the wielder in close proximity gain a small fighting skill bonus, as the light seems to shimmer brighter in the darkest of places. Alternatively, what if it was for Fo? Inspire could be a healing enchantment. May not again seem like much, but when every littel bit helps: Fo's Grace (torch). It is enchanted with Inspire. Allies of the wielder in close proximity can feel the soothing aura from this torch slowly mending their wounds over time. Again, this would have to be small so as not to be game-breaking, but. Still, could be a very neat thing. For the BL, perhaps it would be the same as Magranon's, or perhaps give a slight bleed or something similar to the wounds of their enemies. Perhaps instead it could lower the defenses slightly of their enemies - may fit Libila, a tad bit better. Hopeslayer (torch). It is enchanted with Burning Darkness. The flame is green-tinged, and it inspires fear into those that look upon it - those that aren't guided by Libila, in any case. Opinions? ~Auri. (Don't be afraid to shoot me down. What I think is cool is often silly.)

  18. Well I thought I might as well throw up a poll here to see how many of us wurmians follow a in-game God! I just wanted to get a feeling on the number of people following each God across the lands of wurm! enjoy!
