  5. The size of Dragon's Lair is 49 by 35. The perimeter is 5 and it has 1 guards hired. The settlement has 30 silver, 81 copper and 70 iron left in its coffers. Upkeep per month is 4 silver and 43 copper. This means that the upkeep should last for about 194.78014 days. I have no decent screenshots as I am in the middle of terraforming so the old screenshots are out of date. You can drop on by 29x 45y on Inde. I have an ondeed mine with : Lead - Average Ql Silver - Normal Ql Iron - Poor ql -> Very good ql Forges 50+ ql in the mine and in some buildings Ovens 50+ ql in most buildings. Unfinished Church Unfinished Warehouse Villagers house, Kitchen, a private 3 story house and half a house on deed with a farm and paddock. Carpenters building/tailors building . a smallish on deed olive farm. Smallish on deed tree farm.   6. Please *please* add a deed settings checkbox for Taming or attach it to something else like "Farming". Right now the only way to allow allies to tame on your deed is to check the box that also says "let everyone steal all my stuff", which is *ridiculous*.
  7. I wanted a pallisade gate built and asked my friend who has very high skills to make it for me. However, I screwed up and told him pallisade instead of pallisade gate. So he built a pallisade fence. When he tried to tear it down with his large maul he did very little damage. He said I would do more damages since it was on my deed. Guess what? I get NO option to destroy the pallisade fence. It's on my deed, within my village boundry. Yet I CAN'T DESTROY IT!!!! What kind of logic went into this thinking? Shouldn't a mayor have final say as to what can or can't stand on a deed? Especially one with only one citizen, the mayor. Just because I asked someone else to make something on my deed I can't destroy it if I need to? Or is this a bug?
  8. Hi guys, I'm wondering what is the best way to build a Corbita on deed without running in danger to have the boat finished by somebody else. The 2 options I'm seeing, is a fenced-in area or a boat house. The "build in secure cart" was disabled before 1.0 at least for larger boats if I'm right? For a house - does a Corbita pass through double doors and are there any skill requirements for push / drag? And would a 2 level house suffice or would the mast peek through the roof?   10. This is a problem that continues to be raised. I think that perimeters should not be extended over buildings like deeds themselves can not. Perimeter sizes need a limit in ratio to the deed size. Houses that don't have a deed, should be more easily reported, I get what people mean about 1x1s blocking them. However, if they need to perimeter over to ensure it rots then it is active and being used. Allow current perimeter rules of repair and building to work on houses that are not complete on all the walls. Please try and address this in a civil way and rather discuss than argue over it. Thanks. "Deed it or lose it," works both ways.
  11. Auctioning off a no longer needed deed on Independence. Im selling it for (what i consider) a reasonably low price as its only used as a trader deed. Its located just a 10min walk NE from Freedom Market, situated at the foot of Dragon Fang .... 36y, 36x http://wurm.dhcd.co.uk/map/indemap.png Silvertown is 21x19 - 1s per month and has 65 days in upkeep and no templar. There is no mailbox on deed, but one only a 2min walk away which has a 87 courier cast, a guard tower and tar also in close proximity. 2 single story houses on deed, one housing a trader. There is a mine just off deed, iron and tin veins throughout and also a gold vynora altar. The larger paddock has 4 enchanted grass tiles. Bidding to start at 20s Increments - 1s Reserve - hidden Buyout - 40s Auction to last 6 days unless buyout met in this time.

Why fight it?" -- Garis of Wealdin The Northmere Alliance is a federation of land owners based in the northeast of Celebration, and we're always on the lookout for good players. Whether they seek citizenship in one of our villages, or to settle in the northeast, we can usually tell which players are made for these mountains. In general, rather than recruiting lots of new players into one village and spending all of our time trying to keep them happy and motivated, or living like hermits and getting discouraged in our fortresses of solitude, our members are usually deed owners, dedicated specialist craftsmen, or aspiring deed owners. This means we're almost all premium players with some skin in the game, who can appreciate the challenge and pride that comes from building up your own settlement. Our alliance gives us several advantages. Currently, every member of The Northmere is a premium player. If a villager wants to set out and found their own settlement, they can do so with the full support of the alliance. With mostly solo deeds, each of our members can set permissions for other member on a per-person basis, as they see fit. We don't have rules telling you what you have to contribute or what to do with your deed. For example, if a member want to give one someone mining access for a week, that's up to them. Our ranks include priests of Magranon, Fo, and Vynora. We have access to every major resource, and several rare metal types. We tend not to price-gouge one another, and none of us needs a handout. We also have high expectations of our our members. We want them to be active, intelligent, and of reasonably good character. We don't recruit part time occupants of Celebration, but only players who are committed to living here. Since nobody can turn off the /alliance channel, we expect people to conduct themselves in /alliance chat according to the rules that govern local chat. We save the rowdy, offensive, and wildly inappropriate talk for IRC, and have a system in place for resolving the rare conflicts that pop up. If someone needs to leave, for personal reasons or to get some space, or if they lapse for a while due to RL, they can come back. As an alliance, we work together to develop infrastructure in our region, especially roads, highways, tunnels, towers, ports, and mines. We keep a good balance between progress on the home front and development of our region.   19. I'm sure many of you have had this issue. The mayor of your village goes offline for months and it hampers village growth, or perhaps somebody who owns a lot of writs to a perticular area hasn't been on in ages and it's stopping an expansion. My Idea is to add a small textbox at the bottom of writs and Settlement Forms that allow for the addition of a sort of safety owner. You would type the name of a character into this box, and set a time period (scaling monthly from 1 month to 6 months) If you were to be offline for this length of time, the ownership of the writ/deed would default to the person whom you named in said writ. That way, if a mayor takes an extended leave from Wurm, he can safely set a 2nd in command to recieve ownership after a specific time period, letting the village get back on it's feet again. Should the original owner then log back on, the writ/deed would be re-transferred to their character immediately. it should be noted that this field can be left blank and the writ/deed would function normally. Any comments, suggestions, questions?
